Microagressions

Alexithymiaa: -Jade sat in her booth, a plate of pancakes settled in front of her drowned in maple syrup. She twirled her fork in her fingers before stabbing into the precut pieces she'd made, pushing them into her mouth and resisting the urge to coo at how delicious they were.-
Covet: -Kelsey made her way into the Cafe and walked up to the register to order herself a milkshake and a slice of pie.- Vanilla shake and a slice of the apple strawberry please, Gertie. -she said adressing the older waitress behind the counter. She handed over the necessary money then pulled up a seat at the bar.-
Tsaaq: "And the saleswoman was saying it was Versace but I know it wasn't because I know what Versace looks like and she said I was BADGERING her. Like, such violent language and I was so offended so I was like 'Listen lady if you can't get me the bag I want then you're not going to have this job in an hour-" Persephone rambled on as she pushed Bliss into the cafe. // Bliss sighed and leaned her head on her hand. "I know, I was there..." She trailed off as they finally entered the cafe. "Hello Kelsey." Bliss greeted.
Alexithymiaa: -Hearing voices, Jade looked up from her pancakes, first seeing Kelsey and shooting the girl a tight lipped smile, the same smile fading from her lips when she saw that Persephone was accompanying Bliss.-
Covet: -Kelsey noticed Jade and gave her a polite wave, then smiled when she saw Bliss come in, giving a slightly less enthusiastic smile to Persephone- Hello Bliss, how are you tonight?
Tsaaq: She scoffed and let go of the handles on Bliss' chair. "Well you know how retail workers are. I was just retelling the tale." Persephone shrugged. "Hello." She waved at Kelsey. "Umm... Is there any no carb options here?" She asked aimlessly. // Bliss sighed a little and rolled around the counter, lazily waving at Jade. "I'm fine. How are you?" She asked Kelsey with a slight smile.
Alexithymiaa: -She pushed a mouthful of pancakes into her mouth to keep from frowning since no one can frown at pancakes, dropping her eyes away from Persephone.-
Covet: Uh....You could get a salad? -Kelsey said back at her, trying to think of anything that'd be fitting for what she wanted. She turned around in the stool- I'm doing alright. Summer classes started up today. Orientation, so no home work yet. Thankfully it's just a couple of classes.  Mind if I join you guys at a table or booth?
Tsaaq: Persephone looked Kelsey over with her hand on her hip. "I don't know. Bliss said be nice or something. So okay." She answered then glanced at the menu. "This place doesn't even list calorie content though." Persephone whined before walking away from the counter. "I'll just order a sandwich and smell it." She said, passing Jade. "Don't you work somewhere?" She asked her a moment.  // She flashed a real smile at Kelsey. "Ah, at least you have things to busy yourself with." Bliss said. "Of course we don't mind. I don't really know what I'm getting, she claimed she was hungry." She pointed in the other blonde's direction.
Alexithymiaa: (Persephone wtf.)
Alexithymiaa: -Jade lifted her eyes to look at Persephone, staring her dead in the face while speaking flatly. "No.
Alexithymiaa: "-
Covet: I'm sorry, we don't usually get the calorie counting type in here.-Kelsey told Persephone, then  smiled as her milkshake and pie were set in front of her.-  We've got a very berry pie that's really good, if you'd like a slice of that Bliss. It's not too heavy or too sweet, because when they're this ripe we don't have to add the extra sugar to them.-
Tsaaq: She frowned a little. "Not at a salon in central Portland?" Persephone asked them shrugged. "Alright then." She sashayed away from Jade and sat in the booth in front of hers. "Here is fine!" She called out. "That looks good! Let me smell it!" She shouted at Kelsey. // "Oh don't mind her." She said. "It's fine really." Bliss waved her hand at Kelsey. "I'm really not hungry at all. I've got a lot on my plate mentally." She sighed and looked over at Persephone.
Alexithymiaa: "No...." She repeated, pushing her hair back over her shoulder as she kind of just glared at Persephone because she hates that racist bitch.-
Covet: -Kelsey grabbed her things and made her way over to the booth to sit down. She sighed at Persephone's rude comment, then gave Jade an apologetic smile, then frowned at Persephone- No, I'm not letting you smell my food. That's just weird. -she told her then looked back at Bliss- Oh, I see. Is everything okay?
Tsaaq: "I can smell it anyways bitch that's how breathing works, don't get stuck up. You still dress like a grandma." Persephone sassed. "Have fun getting fat from eating." She scoffed as she glanced down at her nails. // Bliss went over to the booth and rose her hand to Kelsey. "Don't, just... Don't." She whispered to her then put her hands in her lap. "It's fine. Everything is fine and will remain fine because I have control." Bliss finally answered.
Alexithymiaa: -Jade sent Kelsey a casual shrug when she saw her face, rolling her eyes in Persephone's direction and muttering under her breath.-
Covet: Then you can smell it from right there. I just don't want somene's face hovering over my food while I'm trying to eat it. -Kelsey said frowning a bit, then she sighed- I'm sorry Bliss. -She took a bite of her Pie, then glanced at Bliss when she answered- I'm glad you have that. I think I barely have a grasp of control. For now.
Tsaaq: Persephone scoffed again. "I wasn't going to! I wasn't born in like, Detroit or whatever. I'm civilized." She said irritably. "I need to get these done again." Persephone whined at her fingernails then tried to subtly inhale the scent of pie. // "What makes you say that?" Bliss asked with concern then turned to glare at Persephone cause they were talking about lfie and this btich was talking about nails.
Alexithymiaa: -Jade literally just sat and stared at Persephone because she couldnt believe that bitch since she could hear their entire conversation.-
Covet: I kind of let myself get off track, with life, because of stupid reasons. So everything felt chaotic. It probably wasn't, compared to other people...but it felt that way. -She shrugged, and then took a sip from her milkshake- I kind of feel like things are slowly getting back on track now. I just don't have the confidence to say everything is all under control yet, like you do. -Kelsey said with an sense of admiration for Bliss.-
Tsaaq: "Stupid reasons like what?" Persephone asked, taking her eyes from her nails. "You're skinny, you're blonde. I mean, what could go wrong at that point? Besides what happened to her." She nodded in Bliss' direction. // She pursed her lips and nodded her head slowly. "Ah, now I understand. Well hopefully you'll find your focus again. I have to constantly reassure myself that my life is up to me." Bliss said then furrowed her eyebrows at Persephone.
Alexithymiaa: -Jade blinked hearing Persephone

Alexithymiaa: -Jade blinked hearing Persephone's words, scoffing loudly and shaking her head.-
Covet: Oh my goodness. I can't believe you just said that. That was super unecessary and super rude. -Kelsey said frowning at Persephone, with her "mom" face and tone- There is more to life than being any of those things. -She looked at Bliss- That's a very, very true statement.  Thank you for sharing that. -She told her with a smile-
Tsaaq: "How am I being rude? I was like completely complimenting you? What's the problem?" Persephone asked with a disgusted curl of her lip. "And what are you talking about? Life is being those things. People want to be those things." She sighed. "I don't even understand people around here." // Bliss shrugged her shoudlers. "You're welcome I suppose. I was just saying. That's what I apply to my own life." She said but still seemed a little sullen. "Persephone, remember what I taught you about microagressions?"
Alexithymiaa: -With an overdramatic huff, Jade pushed up from her booth all pissy and shit because she's easily offended, tossing some money onto the table before storming off to the bathroom in a flurry, letting the door swing closed behind her.-
Covet: -Kelsey rolled her eyes and took another bite of her pie, then tilted her head to the side, completely ignoring Persephone's snarky comments- Are you sure you're okay? Because if you ever want to talk, or need someone to help distract you I'm happy to help. -Kelsey looked up when Jade got up and huffed past them, giving another frown-
Tsaaq: "I know, it's bad or whatever." She said dismissively. "Yeah exactly. You sound retarded." She whispered, going back to looking at her nails but getting distracted when Jade stormed off. "Probably late to cut her bonsai tree or something." Persephone giggled. // Bliss nodded her head slowly. "No no, it's fine. I can handle it." She whispered. "If you don't mind coming over to my house when my father isn't home I supposed it wouldn't hurt-" She paused and looked over at Persephone. "Still microagressions!"
Alexithymiaa: -Jade washed her hands and fiddled around in the bathroom for a while doing bathroom things to avoid the rest of their conversation.-
Covet: -Kelsey shook her head at Persephone, blinking slowly, before she looked at Bliss- Of course. I'll gladly come over. Just give me a head's up whenever it's best for you :) I have most evenings off now for the summer at least. -She glanced back over at Persephone, taking a silent last bite.-
Tsaaq: Persephone grumbled. "I hate people around here. They're rude fucking savages, ignore people when you're talking to them like they were raised in a ghetto or something, like." She paused and rolled her eyes, getting out of the booth. "We're leaving." She decided, grabbing the back of Bliss' wheelchair and turning it away from the table. // She pursed her lips and shrugged. "I don't know, we'll see. It's just a tiny offer, just in case." Bliss panicked a little as Persephone took hold of her chair.
Alexithymiaa: -Jade finished up bathroom things, stepping out and back into the cafe to see Persephone ushering Bliss toward the door. She breezed passed the two, pushing the door open to walk to her cab that she probably had on speed dial by now.-
Covet: Okay. Well all the same. If you ever need anything, feel free to just hollar. -Kelsey told her politely, then sighed as Persephone went to take her away-  Oh, Okay...I guess you're leaving now. Um, Have a good night Bliss. It was a pleasure to see you again Persephone -she tried to say with a genuine tone. She needed to finish her milkshake before she could leave-
Tsaaq: "Yeah I know." Persephone whispered. "Goodnight." She said angrily as she took out her phone, dialing a number. "Hello! Get the damn car over to my location now or you're fired!" She shouted. // Bliss turned her head and waved at Kelsey. "I'll text you. You have a good night too!" She called out, turning around again and sighing as they headed home.
