05-09-22 life update

Hello all!

I know I haven't been streaming too often, but life is busy. Let's talk about stuff.

For the longest time, I've been living the neet life, and I hate admitting it, but I was somewhat stuck for a bit in life. For different reasons the girlfriend and I broke up non-mutually, and that did kick me awake a bit that I want to do something. So I did, but now that my life is different, my reach is different (don't ask me, this makes sense in my head) and I applied to stuff more in my neighbourhood instead of future-proofing, and right now, I'm about half-way in a 6-week un-fun desk-job (but tolerable since the workplace is cool and I know it's really temporary), and currently looking into something else that's a bit more permanent. Don't get me wrong, me being busy and earning money to finally get a place of my own/advance in life does bring me joy and success. I needed that win.

The bad thing, is that I have hardly time and energy. I got limited time in the evenings since I need to sleep early (so GTA runs and long Xeno runs are difficult to do), and right now my speed-flame is only lying at the longer runs, not so much the shorter ones. I'm not planning on stopping with either streaming or speedrunning at all, but both job, important BSG stuff happening, and my IRL life that does bring me joy, it's a bit lower on my priority list. And I am also trying to get back into the romance scene.
But, don't think I forgot about you cuties. I'll definitely be streaming a GTA-SA redemption run this weekend for funsies. And outside of that, don't think I'll be done with Apes/chickens/anything else.

Real life is fun though! I was at Halogen's place last weekend, basically with the "Joshimuz Fanboys" club, and played some minigolf, learned to play magic, watched F1 and the trilogy run Sventor, Josh and I did on my channel. I enjoyed that, and everything at that weekend. BSG brought me the same joy, just hanging out with everyone.

I should mention that except for 1 person, everyone I know lives at least an hour away from where I live, so don't think I'll go out that often xoxo.

On the topic of BSG, we're doing things on the inside before continuing events, and that takes some time and energy. And as people know, I'm affiliated with a lot more marathons, like ESA, UKSG, Bingothon, Indiethon, Speed Docs, GTAMarathon and maybe a few more.
I'm definitely having to think about how I put my time into these marathons.
BSG, ESA and UKSG are in-person events, so that's different, but online marathons definitely need to fight for my time. So are marathon runs I guess.  Can you tell I'm rambling yet?
