  1. Start: 6 pm, Day of Labor (Wednesday) Midsummer 9, 401 GA

  3. After resting, the party investigated the next chamber, thanks to Emilia's summon burrowing a path.

  5. They found two pillars surrounded by greasy tar. In the grease stood several earth elementals, which paid them no mind.

  7. Slots on the pillars contained Terran Brandy. After determining their worth, they decided to try to retrieve them. The elementals responded hostilely to this, but appeared to lose track of them once they left the grease.

  9. Learning the patterns, the party manipulated the elementals and retrieved the brandy.
  10.  
  11. They decided to move on to the next room which appeared similar, with fire elementals and pitch traps. The fire elementals seemed to not desire to approach the pitch, as it appeared they were feeding on the substance. These elementals were much quicker, but the party exploited their unwillingness to approach the pitch to retrieve flaming sprites in jars in the pillar slots.

  13. Moving on, the next room appears to contain air elementals, sheer drops as its pitfall, and contain flasks working like Ethereal Jaunt. They decided to move on for the moment, and check out the next room before putting themselves at risk.

  15. The next room contained water elementals, pools of water, and potions polymorph, restricted to aquatic creatures.

  17. They decided not to swim and to instead investigate the final chamber. Inside they found an ancient item creation station of some kind, which seemed to double as a place of worship. Additionally, they found an ancient alchemist's lab. All of these things appeared to not have been touched for an age.

  19. They looted its contents, and found l alchemist's lab (40 lbs, 500 gp mv), with a potion of stoneskin (CL 7 arcane) and 3 potions of cure critical wounds (CL 7 4d8+7 divine). Ryardynin took the potion of stoneskin, everyone else took a potion of cure critical wounds.

  21. They investigated the box near the item creation station, and found it to contain (CL 7, 2d8+7, 50 charges, divine) wand of reach inflict moderate wounds, ring of force shield, lesser selective metamagic rod (3/day, 3rd or lower), 1 scroll of maximized enervation (cl 13, arcane).
