  1. Some Background: So, this will come up in the memo a lot, but the planet you are on is Earth after a weird meteor blew up and screwed over the world exactly 568 years ago. The people who weren't killed by the blast were known as Infected, because they gained weird mutant powers and stuff and they could pass this trait on to non-infected people and their children. The infected split into two groups, those who were hit by the direct blast were forever known as the Dead Ones. Those who were hit by after-waves and got weird mutant powers were forever known as the New Ones. The Dead Ones suffer from nigh immortality and un-healing wounds, and, after they turn fifty, an undying hunger. They're kinda like zombies. New Ones often look like animals or just humans with different un-human traits. That's why Broby will usually refer to weird creatures as New Ones or Infected, because he has never seen a troll or other aliens before.
  2.
  3. There are four places within the WWTRP World, only three of them are visible on the map. The Badlands is where the New Ones are confined, the Deadlands are where the Dead Ones are confined, the Mainland is where Broby lives, and the Oldlands are where the un-infected humans live.

  8. IN-CHARACTER RULES!
  9.
  10. (this applies to fan-made characters for the webcomic Homestuck only) Nothing breaks the universe's canon when it comes to fan-characters. Six letter troll names. Four letter kid names. Only the known classes and aspects. And only thirteen blood colors (yes, lime is allowed. assuming the lime blooded troll was from a dimension where they weren't killed off)
  11.
  12. Please don't drag people into things they don't want to be apart of.
  13.
  14. No insta-kill powers. That's utter bullshit.
  15.
  16. Once a map is implemented, I expect everyone to ACKNOWLEDGE distance AND location. Someone who was in the North Pole talking with Santee Cloz one second cannot be on the beach hangin' with Cthulhu the next! I also expect people to realize that everyone is not right next to them. You can't be in the North Pole still and talking to Cthulhu who is at the beach. You have to go there if you want to talk to Cthulhu, dummy.
  17.
  18. That comes to my next rule: Have a reason to go to one location from another to talk to a person BESIDES talking to that person.
  19.
  20. Don't ignore other peoples characters. That's rude.
  21.
  22. It doesn't have to be exact to the character's left nipple, but I do expect a fairly detailed description of the character you intend to roleplay as.
  23.
  24. It doesn't have to be exact to the shape of the energy living inside the character, but I do expect a fairly detailed description of all the characters powers. No surprises, OK?
  25.
  26. I will fuckin' murder the first character I see who is just a copy-paste of a homestuck character but with a different name. Well, I won't kill them, but I will give you a stern warning and no dessert.
  27.
  28. OUT-OF-CHARACTER RULES!
  29.
  30. I don't give a flying canoodle if your character is a straight up dick, you don't have to keep that personality when you talk to people OOC. I don't care how stupid they're being, keep it civilized!
  31.
  32. Don't use information you received OOC in-character, OK?
  33.
  34. Nobody is entitled to their opinion unless their opinion is about the chat, got it? Keep all fights in private.
  35.
  36. Keep OOC chat to a minimum. Like the last one, take a conversation between several people to your own private memo, or, if it's just between two people, keep it in private.
  37.
  38. No rape jokes, no racist jokes, and certainly tons of innuendos. We're all mature (coughcough) here, but we're also non-offensive. Keep it that way.
