This rule change is actually very healthy for the game. As it is, most monsters with Ignition Effects will be summoned, and their effects immediately activated, most of the time generating advantage just for summoning the monster (Judgment Dragon, Faultroll, DAD). The rule change forces players to secure their monsters to the board before they can begin generating advantage with them. KONAMI is actually fixing one of their broken game mechanics.
