- HELLO HELLO
- A) This method of barrier removal won't be particularly successful. Instead of canceling out any barriers, this will instead pit barrier against barrier and cause a lot of damage to those who try and alter it.
- B) The electricity resistance will work when it comes to the actual electricity portion of the issue, but there's also the issue of the barrier. If someone sort out that they can break through the electricity, they'll discover that there isn't actually anything additional to the barrier. That is to say, the electricity IS the barrier, but there's still some sort of force that is protecting the island.
- C) The above will also be true for this method. Being able to shift through the barrier will be impossible based on a yet unknown force.
- D) Characters attacking the barrier would find that their energy would either be reflected by the barrier or that it would simply be absorbed -- this depends on their individual preferences and the type of magic they used (like an elemental magic being absorbed whereas throwing a sword, it would bounce off, etc.)
- They could potentially figure out that this has something to do with magic, perhaps through a character like 9S who can discover certain aspects of things through scanning. There isn't a technology to discover or hack, and there is certainly something supernatural about this barrier.
- If the electrical component of the barrier happens to be shorted out (which can be done through those with the power to resist electricity), instead there will be a white sort of spacey mirage in its place. This is to symbolize the absence of electricity, but the barrier is still present and it will be physically impossible to push through it. The electricity will be gone but there will still be a sort of magical surge present that is physically limiting and impervious to magic and physical maneuvering.
- Sorry if any of this is particularly pushing back against the idea of characters from breaking through the barrier, but as you may have guessed it has to do with the location's story plot. It will come up more and more in the next few weeks as the time on Aimintas comes to a close.
