As the party is winding down, you step outside to find your best friend sitting alone. Seeing as they didn't hang out with you too much this evening, you convince them to finally have a dance with you, which leads to you confessing your feelings.

You can be very liberal with the longer pauses (double spaces) in this script, as they're used to create comfortable dips in the conversation.

I *did* switch off the lights to take them for a bit of a test drive, yeah. [chuckle]

[in awe] Of course that has nothing on this.

A real...what would you call this? A starscape? I'm not making these words up, am I?

Doesn't this feel kind of surreal? Or, well...this atmosphere, it's so...[chuckle] I can't think of the word.

What I mean is...we're alone out here. The party is all the way inside.

And we have this like...infinite sky above us.

And it's cold, right? But not here. Together, we're pretty warm.

It's our own little bubble. In the middle of all of this open space, it's just you and me.

[soft] We're the only ones that matter.


[a bit flustered] I...I don't know why I'm saying all of this. I hope I don't sound pretentious. [nervous chuckle]

Maybe it's the alcohol. I have a lot of thoughts trying to get out. [nervous chuckle] But I like it like this. I like our own little "space-time" bubble. I don't really want to leave it.

No, I'm not cold. I just want to be close to you right now.
