  12. Elliot Vane: 48. Member of the Prohibition Unit and leader of the Prohi team prior to the PCs. Member of the old and rich Vane family, which is heavily invested in Omaha’s large meatpacking industry and who are rumoured to have mob ties. Currently missing in action.

  14. Adrian Lee: 34. A member of the previous Prohi team. Killed in a shoot-out with local gangsters the night John Vane disappeared.

Dirk’s aunt, runs a eclectic shop in the Irish part of town that caters to the superstitious: fortune-telling, alternate medicine remedies of varying authenticity, charms to ward off the “fairies” and so on. Claims to be married but no one in the family has ever seen her husband.

  35. Mr. Sheol: ???. The rumoured head of a new bootlegging gang in town. The gang is said to be involved with more far-reaching and nastier crimes than the gambling and prostitution already endemic to Omaha, including human trafficking and international thefts of high-value historical artefacts.

  37. Elizabeth Vane: 22. John’s adopted daughter. Named heir to the Vane fortune in John’s will, Elizabeth is currently engaged in a nasty legal battle with John’s blood relatives.

  39. Ezekiel Vane: 51. Elliot Vane’s uncle and Elizabeth’s great-uncle. Currently the only family member on speaking terms with Elizabeth, having been similarly disowned by the family many years ago. Now serves as an assistant professor at the University of Omaha
