They often say you shouldn't live in the past but, if you think about it, that is not possible.
It takes a fraction of a second for the light to reflect on whatever you are looking at and reach your eyes. So let's say you are looking at a flower and a bee lands on it. You will only see the bee a fraction of a second after it landed, therefore you are watching the past of the bee. The same thing happens with sound and with touch.
