- [15:01:45] Normally she could pass Cinderfall with little to no trouble, rushing through as nothing more than a flash of jade curls and fair skin. But, today Gala stepped slowly, letting all that had come to pass settle in her mind. The war, Quazla, their mission and Sanseveria…..Keeping the balance was strange, but at least not so taxing now; no more panic attacks or break downs! A good sign, really; though Haydn was no doubt itching for another spin.
- Humming softly, flowers bloomed under her feet, the trail following the small teen as she made her way across grass. To the other cave entrance she went, slow and steady; it was time to give herself a little bit of a break. Behing her, the long, snaking tail swayed calmly, the tuff of curls and leaves occasionally flicking as the Mabon moved.
- "I wonder…What do you think Quazla is up to today, Haydn…?" Speaking softly, Gala's quiet voice drifted across the camp; she was unmistakable for anyone else.
- (Gala Mabon)
- [15:06:01] Step, step.
- The letters were given to the courier, whisked away to where they would be delivered while the boy with the glowing eyes continued to walk down the streets of Cinderfal. The once encampment was now quiet big and the population was surely booming as well. And despite this it would not be a gleeful look on Thom's face, instead being one of neutrality.
- The recently passed order of Liara was odd, and technically he could challenge it if he so desired, but he didn't desire to do such. In fact.. He almost didn't want to do anything. As the faces of the dead once more flooded his eyes whenever he blinked his breath calmed slightly, and his gaze looked towards the ground.. Or did for a while.
- A voice pulled him out of his thoughts. One he had not heard for a long time. The golden hues glanced over to them before he spoke. "Gala? What are you doing here..?"
- (Thom M. Takashi)
- [15:12:51] Ancillia would follow along behind Thom. She was honestly, quite glad the Yokai wasn't allowed in Cinderfall. She didn't like them, nor trust them. And while she hadn't said anything of it to Thom, she was glad that someone else had done so. Regardless of if it could have gotten rid of rust, it probably would have used that against them in the end...
- As for now, she walked along behind, working on something. A wig of sorts. Strands of hair would be weaved through a net, placed so as to be as realistic as possible. Though, for what reason, no one would know for now. Though it was probably that Thom could think of one...
- Though, when he stopped, she would bump into him. Wig making wasn't exactly something that one should do while walking, considering the amount of concentration required... Looking up, she would notice the... person. She'd seen them before. Though, she hadn't learned their name at the time.
- (Ancillia)
- [15:22:14] Stopping in her tracks at the mention of her name, the Druid would turn to look at the older boy--…No. Looking Thom over, she could see that he was no long a boy. The man standing in front of her was an old childhood friend….Was his hair still orange…? Taking a good few moments to stare at him, a small smile spilled across her face. There was a…Deadened look to him, something was missing…What happened to him?
- Galahad gone and changed too, something about her form caused the grass and flora all around to grow, to bloom and thrive. Life spilled out and glowed wherever she stood. Most certainly, she was the daughter of Quazla; she had a long way to go to be like her father though. Clasping hands over her stomach, the young teen glanced to the girl following him. Someone was always following after him, it seemed. He had grown in popularity, hasn't he?
- "Hello Thom, how are you…? I'm just passing through to Sunflower. Normally I'd run but…" Pausing, her gaze falls to the floor, silk curls slipping down to obscure the right side of her face. "I'm just a little tired right now, so I decided to walk, instead."
- Perhaps the events as of recent were not just weighing on the Takashi?
- (Gala Mabon)
- [15:28:12] Bump.
- A slight blink of the glowing eyes when he felt Ancillia's head bump into his back and he would turn around. It appeared she did not fall off her feet which was good. That all too much happened when people bumped into him, though mostly it was kids. "You ok Ancillia?" He would ask, noticing the wig she had in her hands and looking at it curiously for a second.. before looking back to Gala.
- "I am.." A grin came across his face, but he was better then before at masking his emotions. Ancillia might have been able to sense the tinge of neutrality behind the face, but it would be unlikely that Gala could do the same. A fake enthuastism, only slightly being able to be torn appart from the real one that he had as a kid.
- "Well. And you? On your normal trek to Sunflower so I guess everything is good.. Aside from weariness. Life is sometimes weary.." Some times more then others.
- (Thom M. Takashi)
- [15:35:53] "Oh, yeah I'm fine. I just... need... to put this hair right here!"
- Ancillia would thread one final hair through the net that held the wig together. With it, it would finally be finished. It would be rather long, and would hold a flower in it. Definitely a wig made to copy a predominantly female hairstyle. Oddly enough, it would also have a spot in it, specifically to fit around a headband on the inside...
- A glance upwards from her work would be made. There was Thom, faking it again... Or, mostly. She wouldn't say anything this time though. Not in front of Gala. She wouldn't want to put Thom in a situation he was too uncomfortable in... Rather, she would simply go to greet the new arrival.
- "Oh, hello. I remember you. You're the one Thom called Gala right? I'm Ancillia, if I didn't tell you. Or if you just don't remember."
- (Ancillia)
- [15:46:08] Eyes betrayed their owners, little windows into the soul; no amount of enthusiasm could hide him for long. Not even Sanseveria could hide away from her anymore, her morganite eyes refused to give up anything! Then again…Was it her place to pry? Thoughts spun about in her mind, the tail behind her swaying faster and faster. Haydn was awake, aware and watching all that was being said.
- "I'm…I'm doing okay. I've been running into some trouble lately…But like you said! Life can be weary …" The flora around her, once so green and so beautiful, wilted in that instance, their life force ripped away and the mana was stolen by the Spriteling resting inside her body. "…And sometimes it can suck the life out of you too." Giving a sigh, a small glimpse of the girl's sleepless nights, she is smiling once more and looking to the Ookami behind him.
- "OH, hello there!" Raising her hand to wave, Gala greets the girl. "Yes, I am Gala. It's very nice to meet you, Ancillia." Pausing, Gala looked to Thom with a soft smile. "Thom…Is your hair still orange…? Who would have thought that dye would be so effective…!!" A small tease and a little joke to hopefully bring a hint of amusement in those glowing hues of his.
- (Gala Mabon)
- [15:52:57] A glance was made towards Ancillia once more, glowing eyes looking over the wig she constructed with a mixture of curiousity and.. Also kind of just wondering what she was doing. Reguardless, it appeared the wig she was making was fine as well, and he assumed it would be for her.. She did like those a lot.
- "I'm glad to hear you're doing very ok." Thom said, blinking once which caused him to twitch a little bit. And then.. A sudden memory occured in his mind over what had happened not too long ago. A certain conversation that he had between Zain and Asami.. This thought was not reflected in his face however.
- "Indeed, it very much can suck the life out of you.. Quazla. You stopped him from going after Asami in Loranthis a while ago.. Didn't you Gala?" Despite how ominious the words were his facial expression didn't change, remaining a smiling man, almost as if he had commented on the weather.
- "And yes. It's still orange. The dye never did come out!" The boy would nod.
- (Thom M. Takashi)
- [15:59:47] The ominous words would be lost on Ancillia, just a weird out of place part of the conversation to her. Given that she had no real idea what he was talking about... Rather, her attention would be fixated on a singular detail. That detail being, that Thom's hair was dyed orange!
- Ancillia remembered he had brought up a story behind it before, but he had been drunk at the time, so she hadn't paid it any mind. But now that she had confirmation, she found that to be a very curious detail. With that in mind, she would reach up and start running her hand in Thom's hair, to see if she could see his natural hair color in his roots.
- "Woah, you never told me that you're hair was dyed. Not really at least. Why'd you do that? I mean, your hair looks nice orange but I'd love to know what it was originally."
- The sheer curiousity would cause her to kind of... not really care that Gala was there. The fact that Thom had had a different hair color at one point was simply too interesting to pass up.
- (Ancillia)
- [16:11:44] That question was bound to come up at some point, after all…Gala was heartless, right? Why not confirm the existing knowledge! The sudden urge to run away, the throw herself into the waiting arms of the Willow's and remain there, happy and content. That urge was very strong. Taking a deep breath, Gala nods. "Yes, that was me. But, if you want to talk about that? We need to go someplace quiet with no other people." Requirements…They needed to be put in place.
- Rising up, the very tipoff her tail snakes around her wrist and squeezed lightly. The voice of a boy spoke out, unfamiliar and disembodied. "Tsk, tsk…Are you going to cry again? So veeery sad…~ If you stopped bothering with tht Druid, you wouldbe happier! " Her smile faded, turned into an annoyed scowl. "Shut up Haydn, you know the rules! Follow them..." That boy's voice groaned, a quiet mumbling following as the voice fades away. Slipping loose from her wrist, the tail falls and begins to sway once more.
- Turning to Ancillia with a little smile, she nods. "When we were much younger, I made the choice to ask him to help me with my alchemy…He didn't listen, and I couldn't stop him. He was bright orange for months; poor Thom still hasn't gotten it out yet…"
- (Gala Mabon)
- [16:17:42] And now his hair was being pulled. The boy blinked in suprise, feeling Ancillia's hand move through his hair.. But unfortunatley it appeared she wouldn't be able to find out his original hair color that way. In fact, it appeared that even his scalp, after years and years of washing and swimming and all sorts of attempts to clean it was still.. Bright orange.
- "It wasn't my fault.." Thom would say swiftly. "A potion exploded on me and I got turned orange. My hair never came back and if you look close enough I still got orange freckle things on me." He would admit, continuing to feel her hand go through his hair. "And I did tell you. Back in the caves during the celebration. Remember?"
- His gaze turned back to Gala, though when she stated they would need to talk somewhere quiet with no other people he would shake his head. "Quiet maybe, but Ancillia gets to hear it too. Trust me. She won't let me go to my tent without sitting outside and listening." A mixture of honesty and teasing the ookami, wondeirng how she would react.
- "But I do want to hear why before you leave. Will the church work? I hear they do something like conffessions in them.."
- (Thom M. Takashi)
- [16:30:30] "Oh, you didn't really tell me then. You just kinda, brought it up. And you were drunk so I thought it was a joke. And you still didn't tell me what it was originally like either."
- As for the thing about the orange freckles... Ancillia would lean in really close, to get a better look. And, looking close enough, she would indeed see a few. Perhaps she didn't actually have to get quite that close, especially considering Ookami were supposed to be able to see better then humans as well... but she would steal a quick whiff of his coat... so to her it didn't really matter.
- As for the stuff about not letting him go to his tent without her sitting outside and listening...
- "Well. I uh, I do that, but it's purely because I want to make sure he's alright. I mean, sometimes I would do it before he went off to the war... But..."
- Perhaps, a little too much information there...
- (Ancillia)
- [16:31:21] "No."
- The answer was quick, and curt. Her eyes narrowed, her smile vanished; a look of hurt touched Gala's stern expression. 'Confessions'…That term had hurt, as if she were confessing to a great crime. To something Asami had did to her, to all those rotten feelings one little Ookami child had forced upon the already heavy shoulders of Gala. Made out to be the bad guy once more, the small teen turns to walk towards the Willows once more. It was safe there, the trees would hold her, the flowers would not judge. They would listen with silence, offering her no insults or hurt; they could make it all better.
- "I suddenly don't feel like talking at all…Have a good day Thom, Anceillia."
- A whisper in the back of her mind offers another problem for her to deal with. 'He's probably still asleep…' Hissing, she mutters under a shallow breath; "I guess he'll have to wake up then…"
- (Gala Mabon)
- [16:38:11] "I did tell you.. Black. My hair used to be black." Thom would say simply, a bit of a nod of his head before the ookami girl would draw a bit close. He didn't exactly move, more then used to the ookami by this point either hugging him or stealing her casual smell of his coat. He didn't mind at this point, though she did.. Spill a bit of beans.
- "You used to do it before I went off to the-" That much he didn't even realize, thinking that after the war was when she had started. But once more he started to care less about it. What did bother him however.. Was when Gala said no. A frown settled on his face and very quickly he would teleport to the green haired girl and put a hand on her shoulder, preventing her from walking further.
- "Gala. I wan't done talking. And you weren't done talking either." The orange haired boy would say in a monotone voice. The glowing hues continued to stare.
- "I will repeat. I want to speak about this topic with you. Now." A glance was then made towards Ancillia. Hopefully his assertiveness didn't bother the ookami too much.
- (Thom M. Takashi)
- [16:42:27] "O-oh. Yeah. But not in a weird way. I just kinda, sat outside when it got too dark for me to head back, and left when it started to get light out..."
- She would say that, but it would seem Thom was already on to something else... It was hard trying to talk to two people. But, she would go after Thom. Who had, hopefully heard what she had to say.
- It would seem that they had something to talk about, that was much more serious then Ancillia originally though. Though, she didn't want to leave. It was probably a good time for her to stop talking... She would scoot off behind Thom again, out of the way of the two of them.
- "I'll uh, I'll just let you two talk..."
- (Ancillia)
- [16:50:08] Stopped in her tracks, Gala is halted by a hand suddenly gripping her shoulder. Glancing over, staring at Thom's fingers, she fights the burning sensation of tears. "…What happened to us, Thom…?" Pausing, she looks down at her hands. "I use to be so kind…You were so warm. I'd be so happy to see you, even if we couldn't see each other much." The teen had decided to grow up too quickly--- No, Gala had been forced to.
- A means of survival for her, and for others; they had depended on the girl.
- "I will repeat too, alone or not at all Thom. Do not try and force me, do not use your authority over me; we both know that sort of thing has never once worked on me." Standing still, the nature mage falls silent. Stubborn, despite her meekness, once set on something? It was nearly impossible to change her mind.
- (Gala Mabon)
- [16:58:40] Oddity. That was the best word he could think of Ancillia's supposed actions, but the orange haired man had no problem with it honestly. A slight incline of his head before it appeared that Ancillia seemed to realize the gravity of the situation.. His hand moved, gently placing atop the ookami's head and patting it a couple of times before withdrawing it and letting it fall to the side.
- "If you're sure I'll catch up with you later Ancillia."
- A glance back to Gala. Asking what happened to them.. Recalling what Damian had said the last time they spoke.. "We grew up.. You went to Sunflower and never looked back. I went to Cinderfall and never looked back. Damain went to New Alteros and never looked back.." For a second he seemed like he was about to shake again.
- "Aizen went to Loranthis and never lookedb back. Lilybeth and Weiss went to loranthis and never looked back.." Despite the words he managed to control himself, looking back at Gala. "Everyone changes. There is nothing that stays the same forever."
- His hand withdrawls from Gala's shoulder. "We will talk alone then. Of your own will.. But know this. If I really wanted something.. Authority does not matter." A slight balling of his fist. "Some people take what they want. And I could easily become one if pressed.."
- (Thom M. Takashi)
- [17:05:29] Weiss? As in, Amaryliss Weiss? She thought Thom didn't know her. Though to be fair, she did think back to that, and really she was the only one who called her Amaryliss... If this was who she was thinking about, she wouldn't really hold it against Thom, but...
- "Weiss? Amaryliss Weiss, right Thom? She's the one I was talking about before, one of my friends from the island. Um... She went to Loranthis? Is she still there?"
- Ancillia would look between the two of them, with a puzzled look on her face. If Weiss was still around, even in Loranthis, then she still had someone. And that was something that would make her extremely happy, if it was true.
- (Ancillia)
- [17:13:10] "...I don't like hearing that." She missed him, the boy she'd once played with and laughed with and liked for the sheer amount of energy and joy he exuded. Where was that boy now…? That slow realization only made things worse. His cold attitude, his words and 'threat' lingering over her…Would he even understand anymore? Who was Thom, who was this man who replaced her friend?
- Weiss….The name popped up once more. It degraded her further, it tore away at something already so delicate. She needed him, needed that hand to reach out and hold hers. To understand and calm her nerves…But he was not here. No one was here but Haydn, and he had fallen silent to watch his host once more be hurt by a difficult choice made to protect another.
- "Do not 'warn' me Thom…I will not be pushed around anymore. Where then? I don't sit well in churches, and I have nothing to confess. Only something to explain."
- (Gala Mabon)
- [17:20:00] There was a slight blink of suprise. He had heard Ancillia bring up the name Amaryliss before but assumed it was the other one.. Even Weiss herself told him there were two with her name but.. This was truely a suprise.
- A glance was directed towards Gala. "Do you want to tell Ancillia?" He would ask simply. He didn't desire to tell Ancillia about the fate that had befallen the other girl, but perhaps the green haired teen would.. "You will not be pushed aro-" A frown set in on his face suddenly, reminded a bit of the letter he had recieved.. Perhaps it was just projecting or the occultism under his command was finally getting to him.
- "Pressley died, many died, and I could do nothing to save them in the battle of the Citadel. If you say that you can not be pushed around I will prove you wrong. I will push around anything that thinks they can stop me.. That thinks that I can't do what I say I can." A bit of anger in his mind as he said that before shaking it off.
- "Somewhere private.. I'm going to blow a fuse if we keep talking out here.."
- A glance then woudl be given to the black haired ookami. "If Gala doesn't want to tell you what happened to her, I will tell you after we get back from our talk. Deal, Ancillia?"
- (Thom M. Takashi)
- [17:25:07] Ancillia would stop talking once again. Right now, she didn't want to. She was afraid of what she would say if she did, and she didn't want to mess things up for Thom. So, she would quiet down again. Though, she would grab hold of the back of Thom's jacket, before giving him a quiet nod.
- Considering the news she'd been given last time, this kind of reaction made her fear for the worst. But, she would hold out hope. Futile hope, probably. But hope nonetheless.
- (Ancillia)
- [17:34:30] "…" Why stop now? Gala was already a monster in the eyes of so many! What justice did she do herself by prolonging the eventual truth? "I killed her, for betrayal and her attempts to kill my father. For putting Sunflower village and all its residence in possible danger. Quiet and distant, she motions for Thom to follow as she walks for the caves. Ancillia could stop her, but in honesty, did she want to?
- The weight continued to grow more.
- "Fine then, Thom…Be just like the Citadel; kill and hurt and push people around to get what it is you want. Murder and slander and cause suffering for your own desires…I cannot stop you." Continuing to walk, the girl aimed to lead him into the dark caverns connecting Cinderfall and The Willows.
- "Or…Break the cycle and be above that sort of thing…"
- (Gala Mabon)
- [17:39:37] Yeah, that seemed like a Gala thing to do.. Admit that she killed people straight to their faces. Especially to the friends of those who were lost. The man felt Ancillia still holding onto the back of his jacket but after what the green haired girl had just said? Ancillia was definately going to need a hug when he got back. "I'll be back soon."
- "I wouldn't have said it like that Gala. But you do you. And maybe.." A fall silent for a moment as he sighed. "But I wasn't just talking about people just at the Citadel.." The words perhaps a bit mumbled as he would follow Gala more so towards the caverns. There was likely to be nothing to fear from there, though personally he would have prefered one of Cinderfall's buildings.. He could force her to one but..
- No desire to.
- As he kept pace with Gala, hearing her words and frowning a little bit. "If you were not strong enough to break the cycle.. Why do you think I would be?"
- (Thom M. Takashi)
- [17:53:16] And there it was. She'd been expecting it. But, it hit her so much harder with the way Gala said it. And not just, how she said it. But that she had killed her herself... Ancillia didn't know what to do. To cry. To scream. To... To...
- Tears would once again well up in her eyes. And, once again she felt that familiar scream well up in her. And it only got worse as she looked at Gala. The fact that this girl, barely older then fifteen... That she had killed one of her friends... No, family... It was more then she could handle. It was... infuriating...
- The fact that, she now had full on confirmation they were all dead. That she couldn't even pretend anymore. That at least one of them were out there.
- With Thoms back turned, she would slowly undo the sheath on her rather small sword. She didn't even know what she was doing, as she raised it above her head. And as she opened her mouth, an ungodly scream would escape. One of which, could be heard echoing through out cinderfall as she ran at Gala.
- Would someone stop her? Would she even be able to do something like this? To actually go through with what she seemed to be intent on doing? Honestly, she doubted it herself. And in fact, if no one stopped her... Well, right before the first swing, she would drop the sword, before falling to her knees. Ashamed that, she'd even do something like that.
- (Ancillia)
- [18:11:12] Leaning in closer, Gala whispered. "I am trying, Thom. Why do you think Asami is still alive…? I never promised you, she gave me cause…I didn't touch her. I am trying…And I know you can too." Quiet words with such heavy weight.
- The scream echoed behind her, more pain…Why did they always have to come back? Why couldn't it just be left in the past? Why did this constantly come back to haunt her? Questions wander through her mind, causing the Mabon to feel that guilty, heavy feeling. Turning sharply, silken curls no doubt brushing against Thom, a hand reaches out to grip the raised blade. Steel cuts into flesh, but the wound is shallow. Tightening her grip, Gala tears free the weapon from Ancillia's hands. Tossing it to the side, arms reach out to wrap the Ookami into a tight embrace.
- Her hand bled, crimson dripping to the grass below. Scarlet flowers blossomed, bright red tulips rising from the ground to soak up the girl's blood and surround the two. Pressing the girl's chin to lay against Gala's shoulder, Ancillia would feel the soft green hair brush against her face as a whisper is uttered near her ear.
- "I'm sorry…I was not strong enough back then…"
- Held tightly still, Gala stares at the flowers forming behind the Ookami. The embrace would not be released until she calmed down.
- (Gala Mabon)
- [18:18:01] Well, something like this was expected. What wasn't expected was that Gala beat his reaction time. The orange haired yout woulve have turned around, about to block the blade with his own hand but before he could the green haired girl was already in front of him, having sliced open her palm with the steel to throw it aside. That.. Looked like it hurt. Not to the amount of losing fingers but..
- Ancillia looked absolutely hurt. The girl would definately need time to recover from this.. If she would recover at all. It appeared this very much hurt her deeply.. A frown came over Thom's face at this. But at least she was in the arms of someone, helping her calm down.
- "That looks like it hurts.." Thom admitted, wincing a little bit once more at the palm's wound. Though the fact that Gala was just hugging the girl rather then hurting her at all.. ".. Very well. I see that you are trying.. At the very least I can admit to that."
- A few steps were taken forwards before he would wrap his arms around both the girls, turning it into a group hug.
- (Thom M. Takashi)
- [18:29:58] Shock, as she was pulled into the girls hug. As her hair brushed up against Ancillia's face. And then, her words, as Thom pulled the both of them into a hug with him. A few sniffles would be heard, as well as a few whimpers. It was warm, being hugged by the both of them. And, comforting... She didn't even care that it was Weiss' killer, that she was being held up against. She just... hurt too much.
- She would go limp in their grip, letting them hold her up, and closer. She was too exhausted, or too nauseous to stand on her own at this point. The world spun around her as the cold harsh reality of what this meant hit her. It was enough, even, that she would forget about Thom, as her thoughts buffeted her with emotion after emotion. Telling her that she was a failure for letting them die. That she deserved to be alone, for not being there with them. That maybe, maybe if she'd tried harder to seek them out, they wouldn't be dead now.
- And, she would cry. Though the scream had hurt her voice, Gala could feel as the tears soaked into her shoulder, trickling onto her slowly from Ancillia's eyes...
- (Ancillia)
- [18:39:21] Falling silent, keeping her hand held out to avoid staining anyone's clothes with the scarlet bleeding from the cut, Gala's eyes watch each drop fall. Inhaling deeply, the small teen exhales with relief. The girl was not going to scream at her, or fight or blame everything on her. Ancillia was not cursing her name out or claiming Gala a monster.
- No matter how much it was deserved.
- Feeling the girl's tears wet her shoulder, it only guilted her out more. Gripping the older woman a bit tighter, Thom's words acted as background sound to a very blurry reality. Everything was disorienting and if Gala were to move? She would surely lose balance. Empathy, the trait Quazla had taught her so long ago still worked even now. More arms wrapped around her.
- But Gala was lost to her thoughts, her eyes glazed over at the memory of Weiss's demise repeated in her head. How gruesome it had been…The flowers she gave cause to grow were so very ugly. Lilybeth's had been beautiful, but Weiss left behind venomous blossoms.
- The Ookami had belonged in Loranthis.
- "....."
- (Gala Mabon)
- [18:43:37] And everyone was being quiet.. That was something the orange haired boy didn't exactly like. His arms continued to wrap around both of the girls, hugging them tightly and trying to cheer them up a little bit, knowing that both were likely to be affected by sadness... B-but that was the only thing he could think to do.
- He was not someone who was caught off balence. Now the worst thing he could get from death was shaking. But these two? They seemed completely out of it, to be expected when you lose someone close.. The normal reaction almost shocked him.
- Ancillia was crying and to that he moved his hand a little, aiming to pat the ookami's back. "Let it all out Ancillia.. Let it all out."

- Music because tone.

- [18:52:09] As she started to calm down, Ancillia would pull away from Gala, opting instead to move over to Thom. The smell of his jacket was comforting to her. In fact, she would go to ask something she hadn't been able to do for a while. Perhaps taking advantage of the situation. But, really did it matter? It was what she thought would help.
- "Thom... Can I have your jacket. For a little bit at least?"
- She wouldn't even look up as she spoke. But it was clear that was what she wanted, and, it might even serve to calm her down a bit. But then, who knew?
- (Ancillia)
- [18:53:52] Gala Mabon: <*stepping to theside, Gala continues to stare at her bleeding hand*>....
- [18:56:25] "Now?"
- A blink of his glowing hues. Thom obviously was not expecting Ancillia to ask for his jacket as soon as her crying had stopped, or at least slowed down a little. More so then that however, it appeared that she had stopped hugging Gala and moved more-so over to him. However Thom would shrug, not wanting to be cruel before taking the red jacket off and handing it to Ancillia.
- "Here.. You have have it for a little bit if you reallly want. I'm going to need it back later though."
- Thom always felt uncomfortable taking off his jacket. His armor was far too shiny and clashed with his gloves and headband. The jacket was the only thing that made him look matched together. But for now Ancillia would have it.

- [19:09:13] Ancillia would remove her own cloak, and put Thoms jacket on. A quick yawn would escape. Todays events had exhausted her. And, at this point she just wanted to sleep, and not think about it anymore today.
- "I think I'm going to lay down for a bit... I just. Sleep will help. I'm just going to sleep. You can come with me, or not..."
- For once, Ancillia would actually start leaving without Thom. Off to go back to his tent, to sleep. Or, wherever it was he was staying now. Regardless, he could follow, or stop her, or whatever he wanted to do. But it was clear Ancillia was going to pass out soon.
- (Ancillia)
- [19:14:20] Turning from her bleeding hand, Gala watched the two interact. Hoe interesting…Did she fancy him? Looking back down, Ivy had already began to crawl up her arm and get to work. It stung at first, but the plant life slowly went about healing the cut. As it did so, Gala once more moved towards the cave entrance.
- "When you're ready Thom, I will be waiting for you."
- The green haired beauty decided not to wait for the nice little scene to end. Instead? She just walked away, the teen was too tired to deal with anymore of this drama. There was still the conversation to be had with Thom.
- (Gala Mabon)
- [19:17:45] Well, it appeared that Ancillia was tired out from what Thom understood.. And if she needed to lay down, she needed to lay down. His hand would move to the top of the ookami's head, once more petting her.
- "You should proablly sleep.. After what you just had to go through.. rest sounds like a good idea. I'll see you later on okay Ancillia? Soon." A nod of his head before Ancillia would begin to leave and she headed back towards camp. At the other hand, he would turn around, teleporting over towards Gala.
- "I'm ready now. We need to have our talk." The orange haired boy said.. Honeslty he felt so weird without his jacket but Ancillia had more use of it at the current moment. "Let's move."
- (Thom M. Takashi)
- [19:29:42] A simple nod follows, the magi not halting to look as he walked after her. Stepping through the dark caverns, Gala reaches down to grab at something to the side. Pulling away a scrap of cloth, it reveals a modified lantern with a bright, glowing mushroom inside. It was beautiful and offered a shocking amount of light for them to follow. Walking once more, the girl heads for a circle of pillars further back into the cave system.
- Upon reaching them, Gala twirls her finger and watches as vines construct a sort of seat for her to sit on. Seating herself on the makeshift Chair, the small teen sets the lantern on the floor and does the same for Thom, making them a nice, secluded spot to sit and talk.
- "Here…Dark, quiet, and cool. It's a god place to talk." Buildings made her claustrophobic.
- (Gala Mabon)
- [19:32:16] A lantern.. Yeah that was probally useful for people who were not Thom. The orange haired youth would follow after Gala without producing even a flame as his golden eyes illuminated the dark in front of him. He was very happy with this mutation honestly.
- "Dark, quiet, gloomy.. Yeah I guess." Thom would say, watching Gala create a chair for her to sit on. Plants really were everwhere weren't they? Too bad Thom didn't have command over anything like that, only having the ability to control lighting and darkness and fire. But it was ok, Gala made him a chair too.
- "I take it you wanted to speak with me about something as well? What would it be?"
- (Thom M. Takashi)
- [19:43:21] "Nope…We're here to talk about Asami."
- Setting her hands on her knees, Gala stares Thom in the eyes with a serious expression. "I didn't want to talk about it out in the open because I honestly don't want anyone else to know the 'whys', the 'whats', and the 'hows'." Pausing, frowning slightly, her gaze falls to the glowing lantern.
- "I suppose you want to know why I told Quazla no to go save Asami, right? The big question of how I could be such a terrible person and do that…"
- 'You're wasting your time, Gala. Humans are all the same…They only care about what they want, how it makes THEM feel…This is pointless.'
- (Gala Mabon)
- [19:47:37] Here to talk about Asami? That one put a bit of a frown on his face, Thom instantly becoming quite serious.. Although he was serious in the first place.
- "Yes. I am quite curious as to why you would stop Quazla from saving Asami in Loranthis.. I thought you people in Sunflower village were supposed to be close to each other.. I heard about it and she honestly thought that Quazla was going to save her. She yelled 'he needs me and I need him' as I broke her out of Loranthis. I'm pretty sure they know what I did too because of the giant crator.."
- A blink of his eyes and unamusement on his face. "I saved her because she was my aunt. But I worry. What if she had no one else. What if I wasn't there.. She would have been left to die Gala. So please.
- Tell me. Tell me why you stopped Quazla from saving her. I want to hear it from you."
- (Thom M. Takashi)
- [20:08:57] "Because she left…"
- The words were quiet, but something lay behind those pink hues. "They trouble she brought, the despair and the pain. You don't quite understand, do you? She ran off more than once. How were we supposed to know she hadn't run off to be with that Valentross guy?" More than once Gala had decided to trust her, to care. And every single time? The girl had left nothing but disappointment.
- "She has family beyond Quazla, she has friends who care and people who love her. Does she appreciate a single one of them? NO!" Looking up now, anger displayed itself on her face, tears gathering in her eyes. "I cared about Asami and trusted her and tried so hard to give her many chances! Each time, EVERYDAMNTIMETHOM! She ran off! She ditched! She broke that trust and made Quazla upset! Do you know how many times he's felt the sting of Betrayal? IT sent him into a deep depression, Asami caused him so much grief. I tried so hard to make him smile again, to make him happy or somehow….J-Just…" Tears spill down her face now, causing the teen to reach up and cover her eyes.
- "I couldn't do anything, I couldn't make him feel better and I couldn't make Asami stay…So when she ran off again? You're right. I told him not to go, I sent Zain away…"Gripping her hands into tight fists, her healing cut would open again, crimson drops running down her wrist, her arm, and dripping to the floor from the elbow. "He blamed Quazla, he said it was his fault. All he had ever done was try and help Asami. We both did, and we still both are…" Trembling now, Gala fights back sobs. It's becoming very apparent why she'd wanted to speak in private. "I'm tired of him getting hurt, of being unable to stop it..! I thought Asami had rejoined Loranthis, betrayed us again…I told him not to go, because I can't bear to see him cry again. I can't stop it, I can't help at all…I tried to keep him from hurting more…."
- A helplessness slipped into her voice, tears dripping to the floor. "I can't watch anyone cry anymore, I…I'm going to lose my mind-Hah! No…I already did that…" Her rampage, the blind destruction; the screaming of a banshee. Vague memories… "Quazla is the ONLY family I have…What if he died there? What if he died saving someone who never even acted like she cared about him? IF he died…If I lost him…?" The girl would never leave the Willows, not ever. "He's the only one who's never judged me…I'm not a monster in his eyes…I REFUSE to lose him because some girl can decide what side she wants to be on!" Standing, up, Gala points a finger at Thom as a terrified look dwelled in her eyes.
- "I refuse to let Asami get Quazla killed! It's not fair! She has so many people who care about her, who love her! What right does she have to take one of the only people who loves me, away?! ANSWER ME THAT!"
- Gala was being selfish, but she could not fight that hateful feeling.
- (Gala Mabon)
- [20:20:54] Silence from Thom, the introspective golden hues continuing to stare down the green haired girl as she spoke. His expression would not change from neutraility, and his gaze would simply remain on her no matter what she said. IT may have been odd but whatever he was doing it didn't look like it was judgement. It didn't look like anger.
- "Very well. You told him not to go after Asami because you thought it would hurt him. You thought it would make him cry. You thought it was betrayal. A giant amount of reasons for you to tell him to stay, for you to tell him to leave Asami. And it was not out of malice, or malevolence."
- The orange haired man stood up from his chair of vines. Slowly his bronze hand moved and would rest on Gala's head. It wouldn't be anything to cause her pain, just a pat or two as he would remain silent, gathering up his thoughts. Completely unreadable even to someone he was close to.
- "Do not assume he is the only one who has never judged you Gala. He may be your only family, but do not assume yourself an island in this sea called life. You are connected. People care at you besides Quazla. Not to say it's ok to lose him, but know other people care."
- Two pats would be placed on her head before his hand would come back, and he began to turn around, stepping out from the rocks they were near.
- "I would prefer it if you wouldn't cause for danger to my family. But I also would prefer it if you take care of yourself and your family. Your solution was fine. No one has the right to take away from others. But sometimes it happens.
- She doesn't have the right. So do your best to protect the ones who love you Gala." Even with the finger pointed at him, from when she stood up.. Thom wouldn't react emotionally, simply in that neutral manner.
- (Thom M. Takashi)
- [20:41:23] "Don't tell me that, I don't believe it…Everyone thinks I'm some kind of monster. Ramia made sure of that…" It had been getting to her, it had all started to cut too deep. She was just one person, holding guilt and blame for more than just her own sins. They weigh heavy on her shoulders.
- But Thom's reaction, or lack thereof…Disturbed her deeply. He had a heart of gold, where was it? That heart was one of the best things about him. "Where…Did it go..?" Even as he patted her head, Gala could feel it rising, that pressure. The ivy crawled up her spine, that fainting feeling was returning again. Her legs tremble as vines crawl down thin arms. All the good things were starting to fade, all of her reasons for believing in Quazla. Maybe Gala should just live in the Willows forever?
- "…Is it gone too..?"
- Turning, the girl tries to run off. Something was wrapping around her back, but the coloration of it was too dark to see clearly. "You should really stay here, you'll do less damage to the Willows! Your little 'attacks' are always so fuuun!~" The voice of Haydn spoke aloud for them to hear too, sounding like a young boy who loved to cause some trouble. "Hey Oranges, I'd run the other way if I was you!!"
- (Gala Mabon)
- [20:49:55] "You're not some sort of monster Gala." Thom would say, freezing from his movements when the name of Ramia was said out loud. That would cause his first reaction, a grit of his teeth in easily readable anger. "Don't believe Ramia, don't think of any word that he says." He turned slightly facing Gala. ".. If I die in the coming few months I assume that he did it."
- The words may have seemed to come from nowhere, but Thom was at the battle for the Citadel. The orange haired occultist saw first hand what Ramia did.. And honestly it shocked him quite a bit once he thought about it. But before he could have more of a reaction once again the neutrality would set on his face and he took a breath inwards.
- "Where did what go? Is what gone too?" Though then the eyes looked towards the dark colored thing that attempted to wrap around Gala. he would teleport behind the gree nahried girl, then his own gloved hand would extend, grabbing at it. He knew not why but would attempt to pull it off the green haired girl.
- "I care not who you are. I do not desire to run." he would simply state to the voice that spoke to him.
- (Thom M. Takashi)
- [21:13:48] Fear built, terror filling her as she thought of all the things slowly disappearing. She wanted to hide away, to cover herself in armor and wait until all the bad things went away. They were stealing all of the nice things still left. Childish in many ways, her mind succumbs to Haydn's own control. IT took willpower, persistence…But, he was no longer a simple sprite anymore.
- Age gave him strength as it took away from Gala's.
- It was a tangle of dark vines gripping at the girl, and As Thom tried to pull them away? They extended to try and wrap themselves around his hands. The vines were tough, and they were strong; no doubt Thom would find it difficult to pull from them unless he outright destroyed them. "I'd let go! It's been too long, she's gotta go sleep! You stupid humans always make her feel so sad. I'm surprise her hair hasn't turned blue yet! Or ,grey? One of those is the right answer!"
- Laughing, the vines slip down to wrap around her midsection and chest. Gala hadn't even noticed, she was far too lost. Quiet rambling escaped her lips as she kept trying to walk forwards, but eventually came to fall down to her knees. "IT's cold, it's so dark and cold and scary…Where did it go? Why can't I find it anymore…? Where did it go…? Why is it so cold...Where did your warmth go…?" Falling quiet, the voice's laughter comes to a pause. The vines once twisting around her stopped, squeezing slightly in what almost looks like…An embrace.
- "…You should leave, now. I think she needs to go home..." There was a hint of concern in those words.
- (Gala Mabon)
- [21:23:12] Maybe these plants were a bad thing to destroy. Too bad it would be difficult to pull from them. Maybe Thom would have taken its advice if it had not sort of trapped him, but the second that they proved difficult to pull lgihting and fire would hit the dark colored vines, tearing and destroying them with reckless abaddon. Perhaps this wasn't the smartest of all choices but.. It was the only one that he could think to make.
- "I care not for your words. Or your insults."
- Black flames began to make their way down everywhere the vines would slip, only increasing in potentcy as they remained. Thom knew how to avoid burning Gala, or at least how to reduce the burns to the point they wouldn't be permanatly damaging. But if this was some sort of parasite it was better to take care of it now then later right?
- "Perhaps I should leave, or perhaps you should. It matters not." Thom said, almost ignoring the whispers of Gala. How could he react after all. It would only be after the voice laughter stopped and the vines stopped twisting that The fires would wither out. A slightly confused look would be in his eye.
- ".. If you care for her why do you laugh at her? Why do you hurt her and deprive her of warmth and light?"
- (Thom M. Takashi)
- [21:36:00] Slowly, the burnt vines retreat down her spine, leaving only a few strands to wrap around the green haired girl's waist. A soft purr, a coo of sound eventually makes the girl fall silent. Shutting her eyes, Gala slumps forwards and hugs her knees.
- "Oh, I do care. I care so much I'd rather hide her from this rotten world, filled with all you rotten humans than to let her keep hurting! But she's so stubborn…She INSISTS there is still something good about them. " Giving a scoff, the voice slowly begins to fade. "But you should know, I'm not the one giving her the cold shoulder…Must be pretty upsetting for her childhood friend to be so cold. Try smiling maybe! Or, I don't know…Stop sounding so emotionless!?"
- With the echo of laughter fading, the male's voice can no longer be heard, even the vines wrapped around her stomach pulled away. 'Just this once…You get a free pass. I'm too tired to go destroy things anyways.'
- "….."
- (Gala Mabon)
- [21:38:33] Thom M. Takashi: ... -sighs and gets down to his knee for eyecontact- Gala?

- [21:47:05] Thom M. Takashi: I think.. If I could mourn.. If I could cry about it maybe but..
- [21:47:56] Thom M. Takashi: I just.. Don't feel anything.. Its just numb.
- [21:47:56] Gala Mabon: ....
- [21:47:56] Gala Mabon: Tellme about him, the friend you lost.
- [21:48:48] Thom M. Takashi: ... He was the dumb type. Always making stupid jokes and comments. Said girls still had cooties when he was eighteen.
- [21:48:48] Thom M. Takashi: Got slapped a lot. But he kept on smiling. Kept being happy. Sure he did some odd things but..
- [21:49:39] Gala Mabon: What was your favorite part about him? Whatdo you miss the most...?
- [21:49:39] Thom M. Takashi: .. -his mouth curves upwards into a sad smile- I.. can't remember.
- [21:50:30] Gala Mabon: ....

- [21:52:12] Thom M. Takashi: -starts to breathe quicker while shaking-
- [21:52:12] Gala Mabon: If you don't wake up and clear your eyes, your breakfast willget cold!
- [21:53:04] Gala Mabon: No one wants cold oats Thom!

- [21:58:11] Gala Mabon: It makes the dead sad, you know...
- [21:58:11] Gala Mabon: To dwell so much on something you couldn't stop...
- [21:59:02] Thom M. Takashi: .. What if I could have stopped it though? What if I could have rescued pressley? What if I could have saved Aizen..
- [22:00:44] Gala Mabon: I'msure they've forgiven you...'What ifs' are so useless.
- [22:00:44] Thom M. Takashi: ...

- [22:02:27] Gala Mabon: What if they all died...?
- [22:02:27] Thom M. Takashi: Gala can you keep a secret and not act on something?
- [22:02:27] Gala Mabon: We can't change the past, Thom.
- [22:02:27] Gala Mabon: ...What?
- [22:02:27] Thom M. Takashi: Can. you. Keep. A. Secret?
- [22:03:18] Gala Mabon: I can keep a secret.
- [22:03:18] Thom M. Takashi: -leans close to whisper-
- [22:04:09] Thom M. Takashi whispers: Ramia is a jerk.
- [22:04:09] Gala Mabon whispers: Thom, that's not a secret...
- [22:04:09] Thom M. Takashi whispers: no a bigger jerk then that.
- [22:04:09] Gala Mabon whispers: What are you talking about? Everyone knows he's a jerk.
- [22:05:00] Thom M. Takashi: ...
- [22:05:00] Thom M. Takashi: -looks very uncertain about saying thing-
- [22:05:00] Gala Mabon: ...Thom.
- [22:05:00] Gala Mabon: What is it?
- [22:05:52] Thom M. Takashi: ... He was there.
- [22:06:43] Gala Mabon: There?
- [22:06:43] Gala Mabon: THOM!
- [22:06:43] Gala Mabon: <*TRips!!*>
- [22:06:43] Thom M. Takashi: -teleports a bit away-
- [22:06:43] Thom M. Takashi: ... Don't trust Ramia. At all.
- [22:07:34] Gala Mabon: Eugh... <*Sitting up,she frowns*> There? Do youmean, like...
- [22:07:34] Gala Mabon: At the battle?
- [22:07:34] Thom M. Takashi: -nods-
- [22:07:34] Gala Mabon: ...Was...W-Was he fighting against the citadel?
- [22:07:34] Thom M. Takashi: No.
- [22:07:34] Thom M. Takashi: He was fighting with it.
- [22:07:34] Gala Mabon: ....
- [22:08:25] Thom M. Takashi: Don't. Tell. Anyone.
- [22:08:25] Thom M. Takashi: And if I die in the next few years.
- [22:08:25] Thom M. Takashi: Tell everyone.
- [22:08:25] Gala Mabon: ....
- [22:08:25] Gala Mabon: Whywouldn't you tell them yourself..?!
- [22:08:25] Thom M. Takashi: Because I'll be dead.
- [22:08:25] Gala Mabon: Wha-- Why wait...?!
- [22:09:16] Gala Mabon: Thom, what are you planning?
- [22:09:16] Thom M. Takashi: I'm going to see him.
- [22:09:16] Gala Mabon: Why?
- [22:09:16] Thom M. Takashi: I want to understand him.
- [22:09:16] Gala Mabon: ....
- [22:10:08] Gala Mabon: Please, wake up one day Thom..
- [22:10:08] Thom M. Takashi: ...
- [22:10:08] Gala Mabon: <*The girl sighs and rubs the side of her face*>
- [22:10:08] Gala Mabon: I'll do as you ask, but if you die?
- [22:10:08] Gala Mabon: I will kill him.
- [22:10:59] Thom M. Takashi: ... Sounds good to me.
- [22:10:59] Gala Mabon: But...Don't die.
- [22:10:59] Thom M. Takashi: Thank you Lady Mabon. -grins-
- [22:10:59] Gala Mabon: Huff. That's princess Mabon to you!
- [22:11:50] Thom M. Takashi: -chuckles and teleports back over-
- [22:11:50] Thom M. Takashi: -forehead kiss for childhood friend-
- [22:11:50] Gala Mabon: ...
- [22:11:50] Thom M. Takashi: -teleports away-
- [22:12:41] Gala Mabon: <*Rubbing her forehead, the girl frowns*> Thom...
- [22:12:41] Gala Mabon: Remember what I said.
- [22:12:41] Gala Mabon: Wakeup, don't lose your warmth.
- [22:12:41] Thom M. Takashi: .. I'll try.
