It was a day like any other, when Polly suddenly turned into a mobile phone.

One moment she was queuing in the supermarket, the next candy bars and soda cans were scattered everywhere and other shoppers were staring at a pile of clothes, which started to ring. Then they heard one side of a conversation through tinny speakers.

"Rrrrriiiiiinnnng - beep! Mol! Don't just- I was shopping! Because you broke it, that's why! It was the giant squid incident. Just turn me back. Turn me back first. Turn me- Gaaaaah, fiiiiine.... Get to the point, Molly. There. Are you happy now? Urgh... love you too."

There was one final beep, and then with a noise like a marshmallow being sucked out of a pinhole in space, the pile of clothes once again contained a woman, who began muttering to herself as she picked up her shopping, holding it all in one hand stretched to the size of a basket.

It was a day like any other, when Molly kept getting put straight to voicemail whenever she called her sister. There was only one thing to do. She turned Polly into a mobile phone, and called once again. This time, Polly answered right away.

"Heeey Pol! You busy? Oh, ok... why weren;t you answering your phone? What? When did I do that? Ohhh, right.... sorry. Anyway, I need a favour. But if I do, you won't be able to hear the favour, will you? Anyway, you remember Node? Thhey're the AI I met last week, while cleaning up the server room at- Oh, right. We're going on a date, can you turn me into a robot so I can stream them? Ooh, you're the best. Love you. Byeeeee!"

Molly hung up, and inspected her new body. For a rush job, it was pretty neat... wi-fi, some retractable panels, even a built-in laser pointer!
