hyunjin is a very energetic and fun-loving girl. she's always talkative and she loves to walk around a lot just to burn off her excess energy. she's very loud because of it, especially among her friend group.

in hyunjin's early years, she was very happy. she was an only child with both her parents' attention on her and her only. all she wanted was her parents' love, which she very well had. hyunjin was the top of her class in spelling and did alright in her other classes, so her parents would always give her rewards for her good grades.

as she reached about 10 years old, she began to realize something was off. she started staying up later and would hear her parents arguing downstairs. she'd constantly be sad both at home and at school because she just wanted her parents to be happy together. unfortunately, they eventually divorced after a violent argument when hyunjin was 14, and hyunjin was devastated.

in her most recent years, hyunjin has been coping with the divorce by herself. her grades have slowly been falling, her social skills are becoming more lacking, even her mental state has turned to shit. her father turned violent as he can't find another woman, and they're in a custody battle to allow hyunjin's mother full custody. hyunjin now has depression due to the whole situation, bug refuses to show it. she hides behind her happy self around others to try and forget everything happening at home, and it works. momentarily.
