  1. * The Jade Kingdom of Verandon falls to a prolonged campaign by Nurgle, ending with the assassination of its king.
  2. * Sigmar begins creating the Stormcast Eternals
  3. * The first sorrowful song is heard upon the green wind. The song belongs to the soul that would become Verithion Jadecrown. Sigmar snatches his soul from Nagash and Chaos and uses it to forge the first member of the Emerald Canticle. (Though Verithion would not join the Canticle on its outset and would remain in the command temple to train. Instead the twins Baylon and Vaylon Windswept would be chosen to lead the stormhost in its first endeavors.)
  4. * The first warrior and extremis chambers of the Emerald Canticle join the Ghyran Crusade where they fight valiantly alongside the Hallowed Knights, Celestial Vindicators, and Ghyran Guard.
  5. * During the Ghyran Crusade the Lord-Relictors of the Emerald Canticle make council and decide if they are to help their stormhost survive in this realm and against the foes arranged against them they need to adapt. They take their leave of the stormhost for a period of time, returning weeks later as the first Lord-Natum. (Note: Ritual conducted by a massive Tree-Lord Ancient)
  6. * The Ghyran Crusade finds the aspect of Alarielle and spirits her away from Nurgle's clutches. It is a grueling series of battles but the goddess eventually awakens in her war aspect and turns the tide.
  7. * The leadership of the Emerald Canticle is granted Alarielle's boon as thanks. She grants them each an artifact and a vision of their former lives as citizens of the Jade Kingdom of Verandon.
  8. * The Emerald Canticle sends Lord-Signallers to stormhosts they fought alongside to maintain contact and cross-training between stormhosts and recieve some of their own from those hosts.
  9. * The Emerald Canticle begin their journey to Verandon
  10. * The Emerald Canticle discover the corruption of Yorreghal, a worldtree in Ghyran. The tree becomes a beacon of pestilence and is infected the world around. They cut it down with a mighty ritual of lightning and burn the roots out. Secretely a Knight-Questor steals a seed of the tree.
  11. * The Emerald Canticle discovers a soulgrove of Alarielle that has long since corrupted. They put down the Nurgle infested Sylvaneth through a long and hard battle. The Lord-Natums convene and argue about a large corrupted soulpod in the center of the grove. They decide to rescue the fractured soul and return it to Azyr where it is reforged into Alucian, Son of Alarielle.
  12. * The Emerald Canticle falls out of Alarielle's favor. She appears in one of her many aspects to the Canticle leadership to scold them and threaten them for destroying Yorreghal and their thievery of a soulpod.
  13. * The Emerald Canticle discovers the immense ruins of Verandon and begins their journey to the citadel at their center. There they gather in the ancient throneroom of Verandon's former king and declare themselves home. They begin preparations to build a Stormkeep and write up a charter dedicating themselves to rebuilding the glory of the kingdom and fighting Nurgle wherever he hides. In the center of the kingdom a Knight-Questor plants a seed.
  14. * Various groups of nomads and wanderers settle down outside Verandon in massive tent cities. Many roaming Ranger-Generals, broken knightly houses, and other remnants of humanity establish themselves under the protection of the outpost.
  15. * The Emerald Canticle retakes an ancient realmgate to Azyr called the Singing Gate and use it to funnel resources and warriors to their new outpost. Many Azyrian craftsmen work together with their Ghyran counterparts to start rebuilding the citadel and surrounding city.

  17. * The Vanguard Chambers arrive in Verandon, at their head is Lord-Commander Verithion Jadecrown astride his massive Azstag.
  18. * Lord-Commander Verithion Jadecrown takes his place on his old throne in the palace where he takes over leadership of the Jade Council. The mostly silent Lord-Commander unsettles many of the older warriors of the canticle and he sits solemn and watches over the council table as they discuss affairs, rarely intervening. Some are unnerved and jealous he was chosen to lead over warriors that had served much longer.
  19. * Lord-Occular Willem Realmwatcher sees the first signs that something is amiss with the amethyst wind. He notifies the council who take action against local Shyish forces but nothing they do even minorly quells the inconsistency in the wind.
  20. * The Necroquake occurs and the Singing Gate is destroyed. The Emerald Citadel suffers damage and the lower crypts are opened and ancient warriors of Verandon rise up as skeletons and spirits. The first Stormvaults are discovered inside and outside of the city.
  21. * The Ghast King Tellus Verandon III rises up a horde of ancient warriors from the ruins and threatens to overtake the Emerald Citadel. The Lord-Commander takes to the front himself for the first time and puts down the king during a cataclysmic duel beneath the branches of the newly planted world tree. He takes up his father's sword and reveals himself as the heir to kingdom of Verandon, Tyrek Verandon. He reburies the king beneath the tree and take his father's sword to the Great Furnace.
  22. * <<Time Jump>>
  23. * The Sacrosanct Chambers arrive after a harrowing journey to find the Emerald Canticle and reinforce them. Though the leader of the expedition and the Call of the Storm chamber, Lord-Arcanum Makkus Stormreader, has heavy doubts about how savage and tied to Ghyran the Emerald Canticle have become. He begins to doubt their loyalties and requests further reinforcements of Azyr. He and his Lord-Ordinators set about trying to repair the Singing Gate.
