- in town:
- people who experienced the goblin attacks firsthand will describe them jumping from the roadsides and acting aggressively, with clear killing intent, yelling and screeching in their unknowable goblin tongue. Clearly outnumbered by the goblins they jumped from their cart and fled back to town on foot.
- couple of townsfolk have horses and a large cart. will offer simple clothes as a disguise of sorts and some tarps to cover the cart.
- on nw road: when nearing a stone bridge a group of 10-15 goblins will be standing in the road, seemingly waiting as the party approaches, the goblins will wave the party down as they approach and say in goblin that the bridge ahead is being held captive by an elder troll, who will demand a tribute of food to pass and if angered will destroy the cart and kill the horses. they urge the party to turn back until they reveal they are adventurers, at which point the goblins will beg the party to enter the troll's lair and slay it for good- the troll had been treating the goblins as lackeys, forcing them to bring it food in exchange for the safety of their village.
