Alexithymiaa: -Adam stood in the kitchen hovering over the stove, a pot settled on the burner filled with thick tomato sauce and smelling the house like wonderful garlic smells and tomato things and stuff. He leaned over to glance down at his phone, reading the recipe Gabe had sent with strict instructions on how not to fuck it up while another pot boiled pasta. // Nikki sat quietly on the living room couch, the tv on and she was just sort of staring at it with Lady sitting next to her.-
Tsaaq: Hayley sighed, walking from down the block towards the house house. She stuck her keys in the door and closed it behind her then tossed her backpack onto the couch. "Hey." She greeted Nikki then glanced in the kitchen and strode in that direction.
Alexithymiaa: -Hearing the front door open, Adam lifted his head and looked over to see Hayley coming into the house, his hand repeatedly stirring a spoon through the bubbling sauce in the pot in front of him. "Hey. I hope your hungry. Gabe sent me his recipe for this great sauce." // Nikki didn't flinch on the couch or turn and look at Hayley at all, she just sat and pet Lady.-
Tsaaq: "I walked for like a billion hours so I think I've worked up an apetite." She muttered and looked over at Nikki on the couch then went to stand beside him. "Anything I can do?"
Alexithymiaa: "Nope, everythings mostly done. Do you want to grab some bowls?" He asked gently, staring down into the sauce like he was waiting for it to fucking tap dance or something. "Why did you walk a billion hours?"-
Tsaaq: Hayley sighed and shrugged her shoulders. "I walked to school this morning and didn't think about how dumb that was until my classes were over. So I really need to save up for a car..." She trailed off. She went to get on her tippy toes and grabbed a few bowls.
Alexithymiaa: "You could have called me. I would have come get you if you needed me to." He reached over to grab a laddle, dropping it into the sauce pot and turning the heat all the way down so it would just keep it warm. Grabbing pot holders, he lifted the boiling pasta off the stove and walked it into the sink, pouring the contents down into the strainer he'd set in it earlier.-
Tsaaq: "I didn't want to bother you." Hayley sighed then went to set down all of the bowls. "It's good to clear my head and stuff or something, right?"
Alexithymiaa: "Walking is a very healthy activity, yes." He nodded, tossing the pasta in the strainer a bit before dumping it back into the pot. He grabbed a spoon and turned to spoon white pasta into each bowl, setting the rest of the pasta back down on the stove. "I'm not sure how much sauce you'd like."-
Tsaaq: Hayley looked between the pasta and Adam. "So much sauce that if I were a baby I'd get super messy cause holy shit so much sauce." She replued as she went to sit down at the table.
Alexithymiaa: "That sounds like a lot of sauce." He laughed, grabbing the sauce pot and laddling it onto her bowl of pasta, but like, a lot. He then moved onto his own, spooning out a decent amount onto his and then one for Nikki, setting the pot back down on the stove.-
Tsaaq: "I like sauce." She shrugged and smiled. "Yaaaaas." Hayley stared down at her bowl and picked up her fork. "Now I'm gonna be super full but that's okay. That's good before bed." She muttered.
Alexithymiaa: "Well just... please don't make yourself sick. Gabe would never forgive me if he found out I made his sauce and you ended up being sick. Regardless of the reason." He walked over into the kitchen, looking down at Nikki. "Come on, come eat." // Nikki looked up at him for a long moment before quietly pushing up to her feet to make her way into the kitchen, dropping down in front of one of the bowls and pushing her fork into the pasta.-
Tsaaq: Hayley twirled the pasta around on her fork. "I won't get sick. I'll just be full and maybe skip the sleeping medicine for a day and put on some weight in all of one day." She shrugged then watched as Nikki came to sit with them.
Alexithymiaa: -He turned and walked back over into the kitchen, taking a seat in front of his own pasta to dig in. "Well that sounds like an awfully good idea if I ever heard one."-
Tsaaq: "Really?" She asked as she broke the stare and looked in Adam's direction. "You really think so?" She asked sheepishly before bringing the fork to her mouth.
Alexithymiaa: "Of course I do. I wouldn't say it if I didn't mean it." He spun his fork in a circle, scooping pasta into his mouth to chew and swallow before he spoke again. "Do you like the sauce?"-
Tsaaq: She nodded with her mouth full then swallowed loudly. "Uh yeah, it's really good." Hayley said before clearing her throat. "So I do need to put on some weight huh?" She said quietly. "I figured that..." She trailed off. "I got you something..."
Alexithymiaa: "Isn't that what your doctor recommended?" He asked, his eyes shifting over to look at her. "You got me something?"-
Tsaaq: Hayley tucked some of her hair behind her ear with her free hand. "I mean, yeah but not up front. They usually say stuff like 'Hey so what have you been eating lately?' and shit like that." She shrugged. "Yeah I did. I don't know if you'll like it though." She pouted and shovelled more food in her face.
Alexithymiaa: "Just keep doing exactly what you think you should be doing. You're doing great, Hayley." He smiled at her, spinning spaghettis onto his fork. "Why wouldn't I like something you got for me? You know me very well."-
Tsaaq: She smiled a little in return even though her cheeks were puffed out from the foods. She swallowed and shrugged again. "I don't know I'm trying to be cute and I don't know if it's cute or romantic." She said with a frown.
Alexithymiaa: "You're very cute." He laughed, setting his fork down against the side of his bowl. "I'm sure I'll like it very much."-
Tsaaq: "No you." She stuck her tongue out at him then laughed. "I'll grab it before we go upstairs then." She said, because she was very busy with spaghetti. "You should tell Gabe good job." Hayley gave a thumbs up.
Alexithymiaa: "I kind of think he knows already. He wouldn't give me a recipe to make for you if he wasn't positive that it was a hit. He's a little cocky like that." He shrugged his shoulders, picking up his fork and eating more delicious spaghetti.-
Tsaaq: She shooked her head a moment. "The fucker." She giggled. "Sounds a lot like him though. You're right." She chuckled. Hayley took an eating break and glanced at Nikki before looking down at her own bowl. "I'm gonna finish this."
Alexithymiaa: "Well he's my brother. I kind of know him pretty well." He laughed, rubbing the side of his face with his free hand. "There's plenty of food. Finish it."-
Tsaaq: "I know, I know. I'm just taking a little break." Hayley said as she rubbed her stomach under her shirt. "I

Tsaaq: "I know, I know. I'm just taking a little break." Hayley said as she rubbed her stomach under her shirt. "I think I'll go get your thing." She said as she got up from the table and dug around in her backpack then returned to the table. "I got you a Captain pop figure plushie! He's perfect for bedtime!" She said as shook around the plushie. "I got Nikki some candy cause I didn't really know what to get but candy usually cheers me up."
Alexithymiaa: -He twisted in his seat to look at the little plushie in Hayley's hands, the smile spreading wide across his face. "That's really cute, Hayley. Thank you. I'll have to be careful and make sure Lady doesn't think he belongs to her." // Nikki's head lifted a little, the corners of her mouth turning up slightly because that was nice.-
Tsaaq: She went to pass to him and kissed his cheek. "Yes please. Even though sharing is fine. Lady probably would be rough with plushie Captain." Hayley said as she went to sit in her seat once more, smiling at Nikki. "Okay I think I can finish now." She said before going to gather a bunch of spagehtti onto her fork.
Alexithymiaa: -He took the plushie and bounced it a little in his lap because he's kind of a child, smiling down at it. "I think I'll keep him on my desk."-

Tsaaq: "That works, you're always at your desk." Hayley said, covering the side of her mouth cause she was talking with her mouth full. "Oh wait. I forgot, what should I wear for the thing on Thursday?" She asked.
Alexithymiaa: -He set the plushie down on the table before picking up his fork again, twirling spaghettis. "Uhh... a dress?" He asked, because beyond the word dress he probably couldn't narrow it down to specifics.-
Tsaaq: Hayley ursed her lips a moment. "You mean like... A dress?" She said in a regular tone. "Or- A DRESS?" She repeated rather dramatically and waved her free hand around over her breasteses.
Alexithymiaa: -He furrowed his brows, kinda just staring at her. "I could have sworn you said the same thing both times, but I feel like you didn't. But I definitely heard the word dress both times."-
Tsaaq: "I mean, I said 'dress' twice but there's different kinds so I tried to use tone of voice to help." Hayley said with a small pout. "I mean like, something conservative or something daring, sexy? What would be a good idea?" She asked.
Alexithymiaa: "I'm not really sure daring is the appropriate look for a women's appreciation dinner. Something just... you know... nice?" He asked, because his adjectives were failing him in regards to fashion.-
Tsaaq: Hayley shook her head. "I'll check my closet... Everything isn't as fitted anymore. Maybe something with pants." She muttered and went to finish her spaghetti. "Well thanks." She said, laughing at Adam.
Alexithymiaa: "I'm sorry Im not very good with fashion." He laughed, pushing up from the table to collect his bowl, reaching his hand out for Hayley's to walk it over into the sink to rinse.-
Tsaaq: "I guess I'll buy you a subscription to Cosmo." Hayley said before getting up. "Stop, let me help." She took her bowl and went to the sink before him.
Alexithymiaa: "No no, I did this for you. Let me finish. You go on up to bed, and take Nikki upstairs. I'll be up in a minute." He walked over to the pot of spaghetti and sauce, getting down a container to put the leftovers in.-
Tsaaq: Hayley pouted and crossed her arms a moment. "Fiiiiine." She dragged out as she went to the table. "Ready to go upstairs for bed?" She asked Nikki before whistling for Lady to follow as she went towards the stairs, waiting for Nikki to go up before she did.
Alexithymiaa: -He scooped the foods into the container and brought the pots over to the sink, filling them with water to deal with in the morning. He turned and walked to the stairs behind the girls, slowly making his way up because Nikki was probably slow. Ushering her into his room, he smiled at her and left the curtain open before heading to Hayley's room.-
