Biomes of Skyrim

Barnacles, slaughterfish egg - Coastal and along the white river up to lake henrich (but not into Whiterun hold)

Canis root: Rift, Hjaalmarch swamp and Haafinger north coast

Clam: Full coast

Creep Cluster, Dragon's Tongue, jazbay  - volcanic flats

Deathbell, fungal pod (rare), Giant lichen,  - hjaalmarch swamp

Gourd: Rift

Hanging Moss: Northern Reach

Juniper: All of the reach

Lavender - tundra (whiterun and southern hjaalmarch)

Blue Mountain Flower - low to moderate altitude

Nightshade: karthwasten, swamp, falkreath, and border between volcanic flats and rift

scaly pholiata - rift

snowberry - high altitude, snowy regions, and border between volcanic flats and rift

spiky grass - along the coast

Thistle: Falkreath, tundra up into haafinger forest, and border between volcanic flats and rift

tundra cotton - tundra (does not go as far north as lavender)

Snow covered pine: Snowy regions, the pale, winterhold, windhelm, and high altitude. the most coastal have no trees.

Green pine: All of hjaalmarch, falkreath, and border between volcanic flats and rift

Aspen: Rift

Biomes:

Juniper/Hanging Moss - Associated with the Reach, this biome features low moss, ivys, brambles, and few trees. Most trees are pine. In higher altitudes some snow, but mostly green. Lots of water in the valleys.

Lavender/Tundra Cotton/ - Associated with whiterun hold. This biome features lichens, short grasses and scrub. Good for agriculture.

Snowberry - associated with high altitudes and The Pale. This tends to be heavily forested and coated in snow.

Creep Cluster/Dragon's Tongue/Jazbay - Volcanic flats

Deathbell/Fungal Pod/Giant Lichen - this is a saltwater swamp. Moderately cold/snowy. Few scrubby coniferous trees.

Aspen/Gourd/Scaly Pholiata - Warm climate.

Thistle/Nightshade/Green pine/ - Warm climate.

Thistle/Nightshade/Green pine/snowberry - Warm climate around the volcanic flats. Distinguished from falkreath by the presence of snowberry.

Spiky grass - right along the coasts. Cold and no trees.

Snow-covered - too cold for trees, covered in snow. Winterhold and northeast Eastmarch.
