I'm wondering if it will be possible to swap the server from ranked to unranked so we can password the server in the future for matches.

I noticed there is difference in price and we would be willing to pay the higher price.

It may be possible that you would be able to do this. But it would likely result in re-installation of your server every time and potentially an IP switch.

Would it not be possible for you to look into making sure we keep the same ip?

Most other game server providors allow you to swap between unranked and ranked servers keeping the same IP for games such as Battlefield and Call of Duty 4.

It's somthing we need and I'm sure other clans would want this also.

Unfortunately that isn't something that we can guarantee. IPs are automatically assigned in order to keep balance loads.

What do you mean balance loads? Surely it's not going to make a difference to the load on the server as long as I keep the slots the same.

I apologize for the misunderstanding. The load balancing I referred to is what forces the automatic IP selection. Due to the fact that certain machines are used to run Ranked servers, they can not share the same IP.
