Leaving for a while in my car
I look all around and see
That everybody is in a disguise
For what they dream

Taking a drive down the main
I wonder how it got so strange
Gophers in the garbage cans
A man with scabs all over his hands
Gives one last poke before he stands
In the death of life

From what I saw of them
The lacy plant, nowhere shoes and moon-like eyes
I took from a friend what was wise
The strangers of this town
Live a life with fallace of not a frown
So lead a way to the high with pay
Of good looks and teachings from not a book
But of the life of death
