  1. Time began without cause or reason. Like everything to come in the world, something spawned of nothing. What is known to us now is not the creation of some powerful being, but rather a blur between Fact and Legend. The purpose of this passage is to merely point the occasions where the lines blur. Remember Emptiness began as fact. The legend of yesterday is the truth we know today.

  4. The First Blur
  5. Blur would be incorrect, as the universe began with many spontaneous blurs, two of those being the gods we recognize today. The blur that created us came not far after, our connection being the distance between the blurs. We began unaware of these beings, as the priests will tell you, until they made themselves known to us. However Subjugation to them is not something they taught us, but what we taught them. Once their power was witnessed by our eyes, we naturally wanted to see more. These beings would have gladly given everything they could to us all, but what the people wanted wasn’t simply to have a glimpse of that power for themselves, but along with a glimpse, they wanted to prevent others from having any, so they alone could be the ones to possess it. We began making offerings to these beings, asking them not to listen to the offerings of their brothers, but only themselves. These beings stood together on whom they listened to, as during this time they weren’t apart, and were very much the same. It is as is the case of many realities, the fault of man that the two are now so different, from each other, as well as their past selves. The cause would be when man learned to share their gifts with their brothers. Man did not simply ask the beings to share with themselves, but continued to build and give elaborate gifts and sacrifices to the beings asking that they, and only those who stood with them should be given the beings power. Eventually to individuals, related only in blood, but each acted, and behaved so very different from the other, that it was questioned how the two could possibly exist near the other. These two were however together were the only ones able to bring most of man together. Them with their followers continued creating the offerings to the gods, leading them through all of the offerings, many of which the people were previously reluctant to perform. The beings had watched the civilization for eternities, yet in this decade they saw many anomalies that they had never seen before. The existence of two so opposite beings at one time would be one these, and the unification of man would be another. The beings then chose that these too should bring together mankind as long as it existed. The beings were prepared to give a gift they had given to no other, which was to become a being like themselves. The beings then confronted the leaders accepted the offer without a thought about it, and became one with the beings. What ultimately resulted was neither creation of a being that was not man nor the beings they once were. These beings we call gods attempted to return amongst mankind, but found that man no longer looked at them as their leaders, but worshipped them as they worshipped the beings. The gods with all the knowledge of the previous beings accepted the worship rather than telling them not to, as they were still part man, who led the ceremony, and desired to be worshipped. Eventually without the leaders to lead them man split into two sects each taking on the methods of one of the leaders rather than both. The gods were then able to realize that the only thing capable of sealing the division in man, is man itself. They then felt that all they had accomplished in bringing the people together had been without use. With no purpose to guide bring them together, the difference between the two pushed them apart, and each took their own praise form the people rather than together. Within a few generations the previous beings, and the unity of their reign had been forgotten, leaving only bitter difference between the two groups. We know call the beings ___ and ____. Each person from the day of the split was born with a chosen side between the line of division, each side in a race for superiority over the other.
