- In XComGameCore.ini -
- * changed NUM_STARTING_STEAM_VENTS from 2 to 9, to prevent bad RNG on steam vent locations. We only use 2 of them.
- * changed UFO_PSI_LINK_SURVIVE from 0.61 to 0.90, to bring the Arc Thrower stun modifier closer to vanilla EW (1.0)
- * changed INTERCEPTOR_REARM_HOURS from 168 to 24, because taking a week to put a laser cannon on an interceptor is silly
- * changed UFO_FUSION_SURVIVE from 5 to 0, because taking a permanent will penalty on critical wounds is not fun. if the soldier already passed the roll to not die, at least give them back to me with the same stats. i already have to eat the ~40 day wound.
- * changed CB_AIRANDSPACE_BONUS from 24 to 0, which controls extra fatigue hours per critical wound on a soldier, same reason as above
- * changed MIN_SCATTER from 7.8 to 6.0, because rockets were horribly inaccurate beyond suspension of disbelief, even steadying weapon and with the right perks/items.
- * changed PANIC_TERROR_COUNTRY from 2 to 1. The Continent Panic already gets added to this, so it should already be +2 panic total per civilian in that country.
- * changed PANIC_ALIENBASE_CONQUERED from -5 to -20. This number is for continent-wide panic. It helps avoid the whack-a-mole base hunting
- * changed PANIC_ALIENBASE_CONQUERED_CLASSIC_AND_IMPOSSIBLE from -20 to -30. This number is for the liberated country's panic.
- * changed AI_TERRORIZE_MOST_PANICKED from 85 to 70. This is to avoid the issue of most of the world being in the green while a continent is always red.
- * changed eFacility_DeusEx iPower from -35 to -20. Now a 3elerium+1thermo is not necessary to have enough power for a full base, including Gollop Chamber.
- * changed PSI_GIFT_CHANCE from 0.45 to 0.65. This is to help with the Psi grind in the late game.
- * changed PSI_TRAINING_HOURS from 192 to 96. Ditto on above.
- * changed PSI_NUM_TRAINING_SLOTS from 3 to 6. Ditto on above.
- Current campaign is on Classic difficulty. Second wave options are Hidden Potential, Commander's Choice, Perfect Information, and Recon.
