  1. TL;DR: Setting goals for myself isn't helping, branching out, learning Majora's Mask, changing mindset
  2.
  3. With my recent attempts at getting under an hour in Metroid Prime, I'm beginning to realize that, although it is good to have goals, it is also bad in a way. By me setting a specific goal for sub-hour, even though it's so close, I'm expecting to perform at that level always. I feel like it's hurting me, and it's just making me irritated. So I want to change that for now.
  4.
  5. Plans:
  6. I'll still push for sub hour, but it won't be like it has been lately. Just something I'd like to continue to get. If I just run for fun, and improve on the way, I'll be much happier overall. Being negative sucks and it just brings me down when running/streaming.
  7.
  8. If I'm not enjoying any% anymore, even if I don't get a 59, I'll move onto other categories/games. I'm currently interested in going back to Max% NSJ because my PB is pretty bad tbh.
  9.
  10. I'm learning Majora's Mask Glitchless for the upcoming #12HourChallenge on August 5/6. I'm looking forward to that and it'll be my first Zelda game I speedrun. After that I might continue running it if I enjoy it a bunch.
  11.
  12. I still have a bunch of casual games is like to play/finish up that I just haven't touched in a while. I'll probably bring that back at some point.
  13.
  14. Other than that, I'm going to try and push myself to be more positive on stream, especially when speedrunning. Being negative is no fun and expecting too much from myself in terms of times and goals it's not how I want to keep going. I'll run something until I don't have fun with it anymore.
  15.
  16. And that's about it. Thanks for reading this if you did and I'll see you next stream!
