- Q: When did you start speedrunning, and why?
- A: I started speedrunning in late January, when I had heard about Paper Mario getting some interest due to new skips being found. I had been watching speedrunning for probably around 8 months at that point, and decided to give it a try. I took the Any% world record for the first time 3 weeks later.
- Q: Which version of the game do you play, and why is it in Japanese?
- A: I play on the Wii Virtual Console version of the game. The reason I play the Japanese version is because the text is faster than in English, and some tricks I do throughout my run are tricks you can only do on the Japanese version of the game.
- Q: What is the current World Record?
- A: In All Cards, it is 3:20:32 by me.
- In Any%, it is 2:17:56 by me.
- In All Collectables, it is 5:02:10 by me.

- Q: What are the rules in (insert category here)?
- A: Generally, every glitch/trick we have access to inside the game to is allowed. For actual category definitions, go here:

- Q: Which capture card do you use?
- A: I-O Data GV-USB2
- Q: Wait, you can skip Chapters in Paper Mario? How?!
- A: There is a trick called the "Blue House Skip" that allows us to skip immediately to Chapter 5 after we leave Chapter 1. This trick saves around an hour in Any% and about 2 minutes in All Cards. There is also a trick called "Log Skip" that allows us to skip the end of Chapter 1 in Any%, it saves around 10 minutes.
- Q: Chapter 5 before Chapter 4? (All Cards)
- A: This is preference. I prefer to do Chapter 5 first because it skips doing the Gourmet Guy skip, which is kind of luck-based and I don't like doing it. I also get a life shroom earlier, because Chapter 5 has the first available life shroom in the route. The time difference is almost exactly even between the two routes.
- Q: What type of controller do you use?
- A: I use a normal Gamecube controller.
