  1. PRE-WAR/PRE-SHOW
  2. - Fallout 4’s Vault 111 was designed to test the effects of long-term cryo-freezing on humans. Why was it ever designed to begin with when Vault-Tec already knew it was possible because of Vault 31?
  3. - Barb Howard, a high-ranking executive of Vault-Tec, is the one that brings forth the proposal of detonating the nukes on purpose. It retcons every instance from the games as well as a developer’s statement that indicate that China fired the nukes at America first after a series of military losses to American troops as part of the great worldwide resource struggle. Quote from President Richardson in Fallout 2: “We were winning, too. And then those damn Reds launched. We barely got our birds up”.
  4. Switchboard Mainframe (SW-01) Terminal Entry [DEFCON Status – 2077] from Fallout 4:
  5. 28th January, 16:32 - ANCHORAGE ALL CLEAR **DEFCON 3**
  6. 23rd October, 00:03 - COMPACFLT REPORTS 3 USOS OFF CALIF COAST, JCS ADVISE
  7. 23rd October, 03:37 - USAF HAS EYES ON SQUADRON OF AIRPLANES (POSS. CHINESE) AT HIGH ALTITUDE OFF BERING STRAIGHT
  8. 23rd October, 09:13 - IONDS REPORTS 4 PROBABLE LAUNCHES **DEFCON 2**
  9. 23rd October, 09:17 - NORAD CONFIRMS BIRDS IN AIR **DEFCON 1**
  10. 23rd October, 09:26 - AUTHENTICATED ORDER -- RESPONSE SCENARIO MX-CN91 -- REPEAT MX-CN91
  11. - It also retcons the purpose of the vaults as experiments to determine which conditions would be the most optimal for life in space. The vaults were never designed as shelters first and foremost, the pre-war marketing was misleading about this on purpose to obfuscate the real intent of their creation.
  12. Proof: Tim Cain’s “The True Purpose of Vaults In Fallout” video description states: “This video explains my idea for why Vaults really existed...Vault-Tec wasn't trying to save the inhabitants of the Vaults, but instead they were testing technologies they would need to make a multi-generational starship they could use to flee from a ravaged post-nuclear Earth.”
  13. - Why does Barb say “War Never Changes” when the phrase’s meaning is that no matter the circumstances humanity will find reasons to fight each other, and bears no relevance to their plan to kill everybody to make more money?
  14. - Why do the representatives of West-Tek, Repconn, Big MT and RobCo agree to the Let’s Kill Everyone plan despite all of their sources of income relying on established infrastructure and LIVING customers to buy their products? All of these corporations would have also had valuable government contracts, including military ones, all of which would have been nullified and their value reduced to nothing once the government fell.
  15. - Mr. House was shown as a prominent member of the “Let’s Kill Everyone” board meeting. If he knew and was on board with the “Let’s Kill Everyone” board’s plan, why would he go on to set up anti-missile defence systems around Vegas if he wanted the bombs to wipe everyone out? What missiles were “intercepted” on that day if they were already planted by Oct. 23rd? Why would he order the Platinum Chip on a date that he knew the bombs would’ve already been detonated on? How does his quote “If you want to see the result of democracies, look out the window” from Fallout: New Vegas make sense if he was part of the reason why America was annihilated?
  16. Alongside with: The Courier: "You say that you saved Las Vegas. How?"
  17. Robert House: "By 2065 I deemed it a mathematical certainty that an atomic war would devastate the Earth within 15 years. Every projection I ran confirmed it. I knew I couldn't "save the world," nor did I care to. But I could save Vegas, and in the process, perhaps, save mankind. I set to work immediately. I thought I had plenty of time to prepare. As it turned out, I was 20 hours short."
  18. - [continued] “On the day of the Great War, 77 warheads targeted Las Vegas and the surrounding areas. My networked mainframes were able to predict and force-transmit disarm code subsets to 59 warheads, neutralizing them before impact. Laser cannons mounted on the roof of the Lucky 38 destroyed another 9 warheads. A sub-optimal performance, admittedly. If only the Platinum Chip had arrived a day sooner…”
  19. “…those damn Reds launched,” “…neutralizing them before impact,” “…cannons mounted on the roof […] destroyed another 9 warheads” – all of these quotes point at the nuclear bombs being *launched*. Not planted, *launched*. I can buy Vault-Tec getting their hands on +- 500 warheads, using their network of vans (that we know they have thanks to the Fallout 4 intro sequence) to plant them at strategic locations to cause the most damage, but getting access to 500 missile-compatible silos without suspicion from the government, concerned civilians or any other corporation besides RobCo and West-Tek would’ve been impossible.
  20. - Frederick Sinclair was shown as a prominent member of the “Let’s Kill Everyone” board meeting, negotiating on behalf of Big MT. Why was he representing the Big MT Research Facility if he was only a client with no affiliation to Big MT’s board of executives? If he knew and was on board with the “Let’s Kill Everyone” board’s plan, why would he go on to build the Sierra Madre and set the opening ceremony to be on a date that he knew the bombs would’ve already been detonated on?
  21. - Why is it midday in Los Angeles, California during the nuclear detonations when the moment the bombs dropped on the East Coast in Fallout 3 and 4 has been established by Bethesda themselves to be 9:47 AM? It would’ve been 6:47 AM on the West Coast, not to mention the fact that in late October, the sun wouldn’t go up until at least 7 AM.
  22. - Why aren’t Vaults 31, 32, 33 and especially 4 never proposed as places where a water chip can be found by the Vault 13 overseer in Fallout 1?
  23. - Why is Shady Sands now located within the city limits of Los Angeles when it’s supposed to be on the other side of Mt. San Antonio in the San Bernardino County/Inyo County area?
  24. - During the events of Fallout 1, why did the Master never learn the locations of and/or never raided Vault 31, 32, 33 or 4?
  25. - 41 different licensed songs are played over 8 episodes.
  26.
  27. VAULT 33
  28. - Rose decided to leave Vault 33 because “their water was being siphoned”. By whom? When Lucy leaves the Vault, it is shown that there isn’t a single living creature or settlement for that matter for MILES around.
  29. - Why are the “We Know The Truth” and “We Know What’s In There” blood signs the only indications from Vault 32 residents about “The Truth” and “What’s In There”?
  30. - Why did the Vault 32 residents proceed to go mad and kill themselves after learning “The Truth” and “What’s In” Vault 31?
  31. - Hank bought out Moldaver’s company and her research before the war. She is also one of the most famous figures in post-war California. Why did she drop her real name to him in the initial Vault meeting?
  32. - Moldaver is alive 200 years after the war. How?
  33. - How does Moldaver know that Hank blew up Shady Sands? If Hank told her that, why didn’t he recognize her in the Vault meeting?
  34. - Why did Moldaver let her raider group try to massacre the entirety of Vault 33 when Hank was the only target?
  35. - Why did Moldaver let Lucy get almost killed in the massacre and leave her in the Vault?
  36. - Why did nobody from Vault 33 detect that all of the disguised raiders were irradiated?
  37. - Why was the Vault 32 entrance left unguarded after the meeting? Why didn’t Moldaver try and stop anyone from going inside and seeing all the BODIES?
  38. - Why did Moldaver only blow up the 32-33 corridor and not the surface exit?
  39. - Why does Betty ignore and not act upon Lucy’s brother revealing that he knows that Rose’s Pip-Boy was used to access the Vault 32 entrance?
  40. - Why does nobody from Vault 33 propose using Vault 32s water chip to replace their own?
  41.
  42. WILZIG
  43. - The Enclave was destroyed in 2242. The show takes place >50 years later. How is there a fully-operational militarized cutting-edge Enclave research facility with the capacity to do research into Fusion energy still in operation?
  44. - The Enclave turrets fire at least 35x4 (140, 35 muzzle flashes, ~4 bullet impacts visible per shot) shots at a jogging Wilzig from medium range. None of them hit. How?
  45. - Why did Wilzig not change a single thing about his appearance after (somehow) escaping the Enclave when he knew that they could and would produce a bounty poster with his hair, outfit and glasses?
  46. - Why does Wilzig decide to casually approach and sit down next to a random lady (who he doesn’t know is Lucy at that point) in the middle of the night next to a fire and not think that it could be a trap when he’s the most wanted man in the state at this point?
  47. - And how in the world did Wilzig manage to RANDOMLY stumble onto the daughter of the man directly opposed to Moldaver? HOW does that happen, in a state that’s 163,696 square miles in size?
  48. PHILLY
  49. - How is the first store in the first town that Lucy comes across precisely the same one that was paid by Moldaver to take care of Wilzig?
  50. - Why did Moldaver pay random wastelanders and not get herself/her people to escort Wilzig from Philly directly if her whole operation relied on him getting to her safely?
  51. - Wilzig knew the whole time who the McLanes were and who Hank was. Why did he agree to get escorted by a McLane once Lucy revealed her surname? Why did June not hire anyone else to escort him with her operating budget of 1000 caps that we know she has because she offers that money to kill the Ghoul?
  52. - The Ghoul kills every moving target in the Philly shootout in a split second and yet extends no such courtesy to the vault dweller woman even though she was the only thing between him and Wilzig on multiple occasions.
  53. - The Ghoul’s firearm only has a 4-round capacity. He fires off 7 before reloading. How?
  54. - The Ghoul fires off a shot at Lucy at the last possible moment so that Maximus can tank the bullet for her. Knowing that the power armor is normally impervious to his rounds and having AP rounds on his bandolier (this is known because of a future scene where he kills a squad of BOS troopers with said AP rounds, plus you can see them on him in the Philly sequence), why does the Ghoul fire off at least 20 more random shots at the reinforced parts of the armor?
  55. - Wilzig kills himself because he thinks that he’ll bleed out before getting to the Observatory. Did he and Lucy forget that Stimpaks exist?
  56. - Why does Wilzig take cyanide BEFORE explaining everything that Lucy has to do?
  57. - Why does the lake monster not attack/eat Lucy instead of dragging her for a bit and then stealing a dead head? If the latter didn’t happen, Lucy would’ve been either killed here or later on by the Ghoul catching up to her.
  58. - Why didn’t the Ghoul fire at the lake monster? He has a gun.
  59. - Why did the Ghoul leave his bag with Magical Ghoul Juice vials in the middle of an active fight between Lucy and the lake monster?
  60.
  61. SUPER DUPER MART
  62. - Why does the organ harvester Mr. Handy get Lucy a new finger instead of instantly subduing her to harvest for organs which is the precise thing that he was reprogrammed to do?
  63. - Why did the organ harvester Mr. Handy not restrain Lucy’s legs? If that didn’t happen, Lucy would’ve been filleted.
  64. - Why did Lucy give the Magical Ghoul Juice to the Ghoul instead of Martha who she obviously cared for?
  65. - How did Lucy not get a fistful of every infection known on earth from having a partially rotting finger hooked up directly to her bloodstream?
  66. - Why did the bounty hunters that kidnapped the Ghoul not kill him while he was out and had an extended conversation during which he was unrestrained even though they explicitly wanted him dead?
  67. - How come the Ghoul only finds out about Moldaver at the bounty hunters’ place even though he himself is a bounty hunter and would’ve seen her poster elsewhere including Philly?
  68.
  69. MAXIMUS & THE BOS
  70. - How is hiding in a broken fridge enough for Maximus to tank a nuclear blast?
  71. - The Brotherhood of Steel was formed by defectors from the Enclave that fundamentally disagreed with what the closest thing to the U.S. government at the time was doing. Why is their flag a derivative of the pre-war U.S. flag? Why is there an actual pre-war U.S. flag raised in their compound?
  72. - Why does Maximus get promoted to a Squire while under active suspicion from the elder that he harmed Dane because of envy?
  73. - “We once ruled the wasteland”, said the elder. When has the Brotherhood ever “ruled” anything other than their HQ?
  74. - Titus RANDOMLY orders to set the vertibird down which leads to them RANDOMLY finding Wilzig’s trail. How?
  75. - How did the Yao Guai make 0db of sound while sneaking up on the Knight?
  76. - Why does Titus actively antagonize Maximus even though his survival depends on Maximus giving him medical aid?
  77. - Why does Maximus destroy the power armor radio even though he needs to keep in contact with the Brotherhood since his forgiveness relies upon him successfully finding Wilzig?
  78. - Why does Thaddeus not do anything to confirm that Titus is indeed Titus and not a random raider upon arrival?
  79. - How can the Ghoul be tracked through a “radiation trail” when the entire wasteland is irradiated?
  80. - Why does Maximus randomly decide to reveal his identity and then think that the best way out of this is to try and KILL Thaddeus?
  81. - How does Thaddeus, with an absolutely annihilated foot, manage to maneuver around and steal Maximus’ fusion core? Maximus doesn’t get a single hit in on Thaddeus, officially making him more of a threat than the goddamn Ghoul.
  82. - Why does Maximus’ power armor lock up after the fusion core is ejected? That is a T-45/T-60 model, which h.as been shown in Fallout 4 to be not only operatable without an inserted fusion core, but dismountable as well.
  83. - Why does Thaddeus not proceed to finish off Maximus?
  84.
  85. VAULT 4
  86. - How does Lucy stumble upon Maximus? Again, HOW does that happen, in a state that’s 163,696 square miles in size?
  87. - Why don’t Lucy and Maximus loot anything from the fiends besides the pistol?
  88. - Why doesn’t Maximus decide to do absolutely anything about his open gunshot wound to the arm? If not for them randomly stumbling upon Vault 4, he’d be dead.
  89. - It sure is lucky that Vault 4 gives to Maximus, an outsider, everything he could ever need right now including prompt medical assistance.
  90. - How did the Vault 4 “surface foragers” even find Maximus’ power armor, assume it was his and manage to carry it back to Vault 4 in a shorter timespan than it took for Maximus and Lucy to get to Vault 4 on foot without baggage?
  91. - Why did the Fallout 4 theme play over Lucy holding up the flag of the NCR? What possible relevance does one have to the other?
  92. - (semi-joke) What did the writers mean by the Vault 4 people who like the NCR and Shady Sands being obsessive, naked, blood-drinking, ash-bathing cultists?
  93. - Maximus sees Lucy being escorted by guards and decides to wreck random shit around the Vault in his armor instead of just going over and talking to them. Why?
  94. - Why does Vault 4 let Maximus steal a fusion core that’s a major source of power for Vault 4 and get away with it while giving him and Lucy food and water?
  95.
  96. RED ROCKET
  97. - How, after being stuck in his power armor for half a day, taking another half a day to get to Vault 4 while wounded and then spending another half a day inside of Vault 4, do Lucy and Maximus catch up to Thaddeus before he managed to call in the Brotherhood?
  98. - How can you become a ghoul by drinking the Magical Ghoul Juice?
  99. - Why is the Magical Ghoul Juice a thing? Why was it never mentioned in a single piece of media related to Fallout before S1 of the show? How is the Magical Ghoul Juice produced and distributed throughout the wastes? How is all of Necropolis, 63 canonically non-feral ghouls from Fallout 1, 2, BOS, 3 and New Vegas including the Bright followers and Dean Domino, as well as 32 canonically non-feral ghouls from Fallout 4 including Eddie Winter, Captain Zao and Mr., Mrs. Peabody and Billy (aka the Fridge Kid) manage to stay non-feral if they all required a constant source of the Magical Ghoul Juice? How did the Ghoul manage to stay non-feral even though he was a ghoul since October 23rd, 2077?
  100. - Since when does being a ghoul mean that you can survive a piercing shot to the neck and multiple slugs to the back? What made the Super Duper Mart ghouls go down in one shot instead?
  101. - Maximus gets a further promotion from the elder after STILL BEING UNDER SUSPICION for messing up his fellow soldier Dane’s leg, and then letting Titus die by taking 0 of the 5 chances to fire at the yao guai, taking his identity, attacking and crippling Thaddeus who is ALSO a fellow soldier and then lying about having Wilzig’s head. How?
  102.
  103. OBSERVATORY
  104. - How does Maximus know where Moldaver is located? Why does the BOS believe him?
  105. - Why do none of the BOS troopers use the headlamps that are standard-issue on their T-60 power armor suits in the fight against the Ghoul?
  106. - Maximus gets to be a Knight after not doing anything for the entirety of the Observatory assault and getting bitch-slapped by Hank. Why?
  107. - Why did Moldaver not do anything to prevent Rose from going feral and why did she leave her alive as a half-rotten corpse?
  108. - Why did Hank decide to plant a nuke at the city that his wife escaped to with her daughter instead of just taking them both back?
  109. - Why does Hank, as a lower-end management employee of Vault Tec, have access to Nuclear Warhead activation codes?
  110. - What reason does Lucy have to buy any part of Moldaver’s story about her father and mother?
  111. - This whole ass quote said by Hank: “If the problem with the world is factions, then what is the solution but to get rid of the factions?”
  112. - Why is the area around the Shady Sands crater not heavily irradiated? Where did all the fallout go?
  113.
  114. SEASON TWAT
  115. - There is a Prydwen-type airship visible above Pre-War Los Angeles. How is that possible if the Prydwen is an exclusively post-war design, created by the BOS out of parts from the Enclave’s Mobile Base Crawler after they got access to it POST war following Broken Steel, and using the Rivet City reactor as a power source?
  116. - RobCo just has portable mind control chip technology now. That’s a thing that now exists and is also widespread enough for Hank to get his hands on those chips in Episode 2. This is an insane Chekhov’s Gun that the writers can now utilize at any point in the Fallout timeline to explain every nonsensical decision ever made by a human character.
  117. - And RobCo SOLD this technology to Vault-Tec, in exchange for having control of SEVERAL VAULTS. Just WHY would House agree to this deal? What could he possibly need vaults for that would make him flip on his opinion of Vault-Tec and become their business partner?
  118. - Season 2 wipes all of Lucy’s character growth, resetting her to a version from before the Philly segment. She isn’t smarter, stronger or any less naïve.
  119. - How are the Great Khans still in business in the Mojave 15 years later? Every possible ending for them in Fallout: New Vegas either involves them moving north, disintegrating, dying out or being absorbed by Caesar’s Legion.
  120. - Adding on to the question above, why would the Khans migrate to Novac which is southeast of their previous encampment that would’ve been WAY closer to NCR territory?
  121. - Novac is shown to be next door to Helios One. If the Battle for Helios One did go down, the NCR would’ve set up camp/staging area in Novac before the assault, by default taking control of the town. Why did the NCR ignore Novac during that phase of the battle?
  122. - What in the world would the Khans stand to gain from a hostile takeover of a neutral town?
  123. - Dinky is shown to be facing the motel instead of the Highway and the overpass. Considering that Dinky served as a vital defensive position that allowed snipers, including Manny and Boone, to defend the town from wildlife, raiders, ghouls and potentially Legion scouts, how did Novac survive long enough to get taken over by the Khans if Dinky’s defensive utilities were null? Why did the Legion, already having infiltrated Novac before via their trade with Jeannie May Crawford, not invade the town if it was both not under NCR protection and without any defensive capabilities of their own?
  124. - Episode 2 shows that Shady Sands was prosperous at the time of the nuclear detonation, ruling the “Fall of Shady Sands isn’t related to the nuke” theory null and void. So how did the NCR manage to mess up so bad that their entire territory was shrunk down to one settlement (that was teleported to halfway across California) and all of their presence elsewhere might as well have not been a thing in the first place? How does this work with Fallout: New Vegas which takes place in 2281, 4 years AFTER all of the NCR was presumably nuked, when in Fallout: New Vegas, Shady Sands is still active and houses the main NCR government figures (Chief Hanlon’s quote features “…those politicians in Shady Sands…”), the NCR is ruling the Long 15, has an active embassy in New Vegas, has numerous active Ranger stations in the Mojave, numerous military encampments including the Long 15 outpost, Camp Golf, Camp Forlorn Hope, McCarran Airfield, is in possession of the Hoover Dam and has means to resupply their existing troops and conscript new ones to replace the numerous casualties they were sustaining? The First Battle of Hoover Dam, in which the NCR won against Caesar’s Legion, took place in 2277. HOW did the NCR win a battle in another state if the entire faction consisted of one settlement in the L.A. Boneyard that was NUKED in the same year? President Kimball’s photo can be seen in the Vault 4 segment of S1 near an NCR memorial shrine, meaning that he was killed in that nuclear blast in 2277. In 2281, President Kimball flies in to give a speech to active NCR troops guarding the area. How did he do that if he has been reduced to cinders in 2277?
  125. - How did the brainwashed trader manage to get past the Shady Sands security checkpoints? If there weren’t any checkpoints in Shady Sands, why not?
  126. - Episode 2 shows Maximus’ origin story once again. Their house is within the blast radius of the nuke. Avoiding the painfully obvious fact that a pre-war fridge cannot withstand the full force of a nuclear explosion, the shot of Maximus emerging from the fridge amongst ruins makes no sense – because there aren’t any ruins at the end, it’s one giant crater. Adding on to that, the explosion in Episode 2 is not nearly big enough to cause the crater we see in Season 1, which is an occurrence of the show retconning itself mere 8 episodes apart.
  127. - Why is Hank expecting a mouse to be able to use a keyboard, even with a high intensity setting of the mind control chip? The mind control chip, if anything, as shown in Episode 1 and with the Nuke Trader in Episode 2, would reduce the mental capacity of the affected subject.
  128. - There is a “flying saucer” aircraft covered by tarp and an alien in a fridge in Area 51. This is Bethesda using their power over the franchise to explicitly canonize what was always meant to be a non-canon joke DLC for absolutely no gain outside of an ego boost and a recognizable symbol to cheaply gain a boost in viewer ratings.
  129. - The BOS discovers a factory-new condition Corvega in an Area 51 hangar. This Corvega has zero signs of rust or dust, the tires aren’t deflated and the Candy Red paint looks like it was applied yesterday despite the car being at least 219 years old. How?
  130. - The BOS then shoots at this very clearly insanely preserved and potentially still-running piece of pre-war technology with a minigun for fun. Ignoring the obvious parallel of the BOS coming across a pristine piece of work with great potential and destroying it just because they could (ahem Bethesda Game Studios ahem the Fallout series), why would the BOS ever destroy a perfectly preserved piece of pre-war technology when their whole ideology has revolved around preservation and hoarding?
  131. - The Vault 31 vent that Lucy’s brother and the managers climb out of is massive, and would’ve allowed lethal doses of radioactive particles/dust to enter the vault, rendering the interior hazardous for human life. How did that not happen?
  132. - Why does the BOS not only allow but also endorse impromptu lethal brawls?
  133. - Why is there a South entrance to the Strip? Since when is there a South entrance to the Strip?
  134. - Why are the Kings not only 100% ghoulified but also hanging around the South entrance, literally on the opposite side of town from where they’re supposed to originate from?
  135. - Why did the Deathclaws inhabiting the Strip not break down the flimsy Freeside wall?
  136. - Why is Vault 21 a hotel PRE-WAR???
  137. - Why is the Golden Globes studio in Freeside instead of New Reno?
  138. - Wilzig officially joins Moldaver as a member of the “HOW IN THE HELL WERE THESE TWO ALIVE TWO HUNDRED YEARS AFTER THE BOMBS FELL” group after being shown as alive and well in 2077. Why? Why him?
  139. - Now the Enclave, instead of being surviving members of the U.S. government that evaded the bombs by hiding out on an oil rig, are world-spanning super-evil super-villains that have control over Vault-Tec and are the instigators of the “Let’s Kill Everyone” plan.
