  1. Lorka and Thomas took off their shoes as they entered his house. He went to prepare dinner while Lorka sat at the kitchen table and worked on some homework. While Lorka was writing, she accidentally knocked over a book. It was a leather-bound piece with orcish letters on the front.
  2. “What’s this?”
  3. “What’s what?” Thomas asked while he diced a potato.
  4. “Some kind of book. Has orcish on it.”
  5. Thomas gasped. He turned around tried to pluck the book out of Lorka’s hands. She rose up from the table and kept the book out of his reach while she read it aloud, much like she had done before they were dating.
  6. “The Human’s Guide to Orc Cooking, how to make Garuashak and other Orcish delicacies.”
  7. “Now why would you have this Aru’ka?” Lorka said with a raised eyebrow.
  8. Thomas was panting as he desperately tried to snatch the book out of her hand. She flipped it over on the back “Perfect for young couples and newlyweds looking to give their orcish mates a taste of their favorite traditional meals” Lorka read aloud.
  9. Lorka tossed the book back into his hands with an amused smile.
  10. Thomas put the cookbook back into the cupboard and tried not to let Lorka see the blush spreading across his face. “That was supposed to be a secret. I must have forgotten to put that up last night.” He grumbled.
  11. “So you’re learning how to cook orcish meals because…?” she inquired
  12. “I uh…I thought it would make you happy.”
  13. Lorka gave him a hug. “You’re too adorable. By the way, Dor’mesh is my favorite, if that makes things easier.”
  14. He hugged her back “That’s mushroom bisque with bits of sausage right?”
  15. “I don’t know what bisque is, but yeah mushroom soup with sausage.”
  16. Thomas nodded. “Yeah, I can make that easy. I tried some of the more ambitious recipes in the book earlier. I don’t think I’m cut out to cook Garuashak.”
  17. “Garuashak is not to be attempted to amateurs. My father knows the secret to making an excellent Garuashak. Maybe you could-” Lorka stopped herself.
  18. “What?”
  19. “I was going to suggest asking him to teach you…but that wouldn’t be a good idea.
  20. “Does your dad hate humans?” Thomas asked.
  21. “It’s… complicated. Hate is too strong. More like…disdain I think is the human word for it? He doesn’t respect human culture.”
  22. “Why?”
  23. “He acts like it’s because he views their culture as inferior to orcs, but I think he’s afraid of losing the Orcish traditions. The longer orcs live in this world with humans and other monsters, the more there is a chance they’ll abandon parts of their culture.”
  24. Thomas was quiet for a moment. “Well, I’m trying to learn how to cook like an orc. Maybe your dad should try sharing Orcish culture with non-orcs. It would get him to pass on some of his customs.”
  25. “I don’t think my dad would like that, Aru’ka.” She said quietly.
  26. The two did not say anything for a little while. Thomas felt kind of bad. He knew if he was serious about dating Lorka, he was going to meet her father. And everything Lorka had told him about Jor’ak had made him very, very fearful of their first encounter.
  27. His thoughts were interrupted by the sound of his timer going off. He pulled out a roast, seasoned with sage and thyme with bits of carrots and potatoes surrounding it in the pan.
  28. “Dinner is served.” He said with pride as he set a plate of food in front of Lorka.
  29. Lorka smiled as she took a bit. “It’s really good.”
  30. “Thank goodness.” He said with a sigh.
  31. “You’re ridiculous; you know I like your cooking.”
  32. As the two ate, they talked about school and what was going on with their parents. Lorka’s dad was on a hunting retreat again, going after some kind of rare beast with teeth as big as kitchen knives, and Thomas’s mom was trying to close a business deal in another country for a research firm. Thomas was also learning to speak a bit of Orcish, he'd borrowed a couple books from the library on the subject, along with some audio tapes. The two then delved into their favorite subject, literature. Thomas just finished reading the Dream Quest of Unknown Kadath. Lorka tried not to roll her eyes (Lovecraft was definitely not her favorite author) but the way he talked about it. She loved hearing that kind of passion in his voice. She could listen to that for hours. She told him she finished Watership Down, and she had to admit it was one of her new favorites; she was so impressed with how much effort was put into giving the rabbits their own culture and traditions.
  33. “If you enjoyed the culture and history aspects, why don’t you try reading Lord of the Rings?” Thomas suggested.
  34. “Dad saw the movies and he said it was anti-orc propaganda.”
  35. “Man that sucks. It’s good stuff. I mean, they aren’t really orc orcs…they’re basically elves warped by dark magic” Thomas explained.
  36. She laughed ‘Oh man, dad can never find out. I think that would cause him to burst a blood vessel.”
  37. Thomas twiddled a fork in his hand while he thought about something he’d wanted to ask her for a long time. “Hey Lorka, why do you like this kind of stuff? I mean, you already told me you have to hide this stuff from most of your friends and family. Why do you care?”
  38. She grinned “Why do you have such a giant robot fetish?”
  39. “Mobile Suits aren’t robots. Robots imply they are self functioning machines mobiles suits need pilots. And we’re talking about you here, not me!”
  40. Lorka laughed. His indignant moods were one of the funniest things about him. But that’s enough torture for now she thought. “Fine, fine. I’ll tell you. When I was little, I was really curious. I’d always get into stuff .Before I went to bed every night; my mother would read me a story from the homelands. She talked about the orc legends, and the conquests and histories of the Twenty-one Tribes. Sometimes, she’d even talk about the elves, dwarves, and humans from the homelands. Those stories always made me wish I could have lived in the there. So I read every book I could get my hands on to try and imagine what the homelands were like. After a while, I found out I really liked reading, and I guess I just never stopped.”
  41. “So basically, you’ve always been a huge nerd.”
  42. Lorka gave him a faux sour look. “At least I don’t have a giant robot fetish.”
  43. “Hey! “
  44. She let out a throaty laugh. “Oh man, you’re too easy.”
  45. Thomas pouted as he speared a potato with his fork.
  46. Lorka patted her stomach as she finished her meal. “Ahhh, that was excellent. Thanks for the meal. It was really good.”
  47. Her boyfriend smiled. “I’m glad you liked it.”
  48. “So are we going to watch that Owen Meany movie you promised me or what?”
  49. “Yeah, come on; let’s watch it in the living room.”
  50. Lorka sat on the couch while Thomas searched for the movie in the DVD cabinet. With nothing to do, her eyes swept over the living room, again noting that Thomas didn’t seem to use it much. Everything was tidy, with no knickknacks or personal flourishes. It almost seemed too clean. She noticed a small picture on the wall. It seemed to be a family photo.
  51. “Hey I found it! Do you want me to make some tea before the movie starts?” Thomas asked.
  52. “Yeah, sounds great!”
  53.
  54. He walked out of the room, and Lorka got up and examined the photo. It looked like it was taken when Thomas was a lot younger. He was very small, with a bright smile on his face and a t-shirt with an old cartoon character on it. To his right was his mother. Well it looked like she could be. She recognized some of Thomas’s facial features and his eyes. She was taller than her Thomas or the other man in the photo. Her lips were turned into a small smile that gave her a reserved appearance, though her eyes were gleaming happily. On Thomas’s right was a short man with brown hair and a beard. His arms were covered in nicks and scars, and there was a large scar over his right eye. His hand was proudly clasped over his son’s shoulder and he wore an enthusiastic smile. They looked like a happy family.
  55. “What are you looking at?”
  56. Lorka let out a yelp and turned around, almost knocking the tea glasses out of Thomas’s hands. “I’m sorry, I was just… well I saw this photo and I got curious, but I thought it would be weird if…”
  57. “It’s okay. That’s me and my parents when I was younger. I think we were at a fair when that was taken. Why did you get so defensive, Lorka?” he asked.
  58. “Well, you don’t say much about your mom, and I don’t know anything about your dad. I was just curious. Family is kind of a big deal in orc culture.” She explained, a nervous blush spreading across her face.
  59. Thomas nodded his head in understanding. “I see. I guess it is weird I don’t say much about them.” He sat down on the couch and Lorka followed suite, leaning her body against him.
  60. “So you’d like to know more about them?”
  61. She nodded her head vigorously.
  62. “Dad was a human from the Homelands. He was one of the first immigrants to come over from Brinton. He was a ranger that kept people safe in the woods. I guess like something between a cop and a guide? He really liked it. In fact, he became a park ranger here when he passed immigration. Mom was lawyer for a firm that specialized in mediation. She met dad when he acted as a representative for his people to migrate to Earth. They got to know each other, fell in love, married, and had me.”
  63. “And what happened after that?” Lorka asked softly.
  64. His face became grim. “Let’s leave it at that for now. One thing I’ve found about life is there rarely is a happy ending.”
  65. Lorka gave him a hug. “I’m sorry. If you ever want to talk about it, I’m here for you.”
  66. He returned the hug. “Thank you. That means a lot, Aru’ka” he told her.
  67. She smiled at that word. It always made her heart skip a beat when he said it, as silly as that sounds.
  68. “Anyway, let’s watch the movie; I’m sure you’ll enjoy it.”
  69.
  70. Lorka sat her head on Thomas’s lap while they watched the film. It wasn’t a bad adaptation by any means. Lorka did grumble at a couple of changes but overall it was a fairly decent , thought they did cut the plot short of the book, having it end a lot sooner to keep it at two hours. Still, the new ending did keep with the spirit of the book. As the credits rolled, she noticed Thomas had fallen asleep. She tweaked his leg and he let out a gasp.
  71. “Hey, I’m the one who fought for your honor today, you’re not supposed to be the one falling asleep on me!” she said with indignation.
  72. “I’m sorry, I was just really tired.” He said with a sheepish grin.
  73. Lorka’s index finger traced the outline of his manhood through his clothes, a lusty expressions spreading over her face. “Too tired to reward your girlfriend for her hard-fought vi-“Thomas cut her off as he gave her a deep kiss. Lorka closed her eyes as she returned the kiss, their tongues intertwining as they embraced.
  74. Thomas pulled back. “Of course not. You showed me how much I mean to you…now it’s my turn to show you how much you mean to me.”
  75. Lorka grinned as she pulled Thomas into a bridal carry. “Well get ready Aru’ka because after saying something like that, I’m going to grind your pelvis into dust.”
  76. She took two steps before doubling over with pain. She dropped Thomas to the ground and clutched her arms to her chest. Lorka let out a pained gasp as Thomas got to his feet.
  77. “What’s wrong? Are you okay?” Concern clear in his voice.
  78. “I guess that fight hurt me more than I thought. When I tried to lift you it felt like my arms were on fire.”
  79. Thomas ran to the kitchen and came back with some pain relievers and muscle relaxer cream. He set about applying the cream to her arms. “You might have pulled something while you were fighting Nerada. This stuff might help. If it doesn’t we should probably take you to the hospital.”
  80. Lorka smiled. He really did care about her a lot. She kissed him again. “I’ll be fine. I guess I just need to take it easy.”
  81. Thomas moved his hand to her crotch and slipped his fingers under her panties. He fondled her clit and Lorka let out a gasp as his fingers moved inside of her womanhood. His fingers moving in and out slowly, causing Lorka’s vaginal walls to clinch around them. Her sex was beginning to excrete warm fluid, the scent of her pheromones filling the air.
  82. “You’ve definitely gotten a lot better at that, Aru’ka.” She said with a sigh.
  83. “Maybe, if I take the lead, I could still reward you without having you strain yourself. If that’s okay with you.”
  84. Lorka looked into his eyes. “But I’m supposed to be the big strong huntress dominating my little humie boyfriend!” She said with a pout.
  85. “We can try that sometime. But why don’t we settle for the wounded Orcish warrior having her human boyfriend tend to her emotionally and physically”?
  86. They both laughed.
  87. “You’ve been reading too much romance lately.” She teased.
  88. “Maybe you haven’t been reading enough.” Thomas teased back.
  89. She leaned back on the couch and stripped off her shirt, revealing a fur lined bikini she had slipped on tonight just in case they tried anything frisky. It perfectly hugged the contours of her breasts, allowing Thomas an excellent view of her supple green chest while tantalizing him with what lay beneath.
  90. Thomas disrobed, giving Lorka a little show while he slowly took off his clothes. She removed her skirt, only leaving herself in her fur-lined underwear. They began to kiss, Thomas’s hand stroking the folds of her womanhood while Lorka’s hands clutched his rear. She wanted to push him down and ravage him, to let him see how strong she was. But strangely enough, she was finding more satisfaction in the gentle way he approached her. When her mother and father coupled, the house practically shook. But the way Thomas treated her…he took the time to make her feel good as much as possible. It made her feel special.
  91. She grinned as she uncoupled her bra, exposing her large breasts. Thomas took one nipple in his mouth and suckled on it while he used his hand to tease the other one. Lorka let out a gasp of pleasure as he stimulated her, her toes curling as pleasure surge through her. After a while, he ran his fingers over the scars of her body, gently caressing them as he kissed her.
  92. It was getting to be too much. The inside of her underwear was stained with her juices. She needed to feel Thomas inside of her. She slide off her panties, spreading her warm folds with her fingers.
  93. “Thomas…I’d like you to take care of me…down there I mean.”
  94. Thomas smiled. “Okay.”
  95. He slid off his boxers and pushed himself inside of her, Lorka gasping as he entered. She was incredibly tight, with her warm juices spilling around Thomas’s cock. The scent of pheromones in the air was overwhelming, practically causing Thomas’s vision to blur with excitement. But he was going to take care of her. He had her lean back while he put his arms around her legs. This way, he could thrust into her without putting any of his weight directly on her upper body. Lorka quivered as he began to thrust in and out, saying an encouraging word in Orcish or moaning whenever the pleasure overwhelmed her.
  96. “Hey, Aru’ka, It’s okay to thrust harder you know? I already told you I’m not fragile.” Lorka told him.
  97. “Okay, just tell me if I’m hurting you.”
  98. He began to move faster, his thrusts assisted by Lorka’s arousal. She was panting, a moan escaping from her lips with each thrust. She could feel something welling up inside of herself. All at once, she wrapped her arms around Thomas’s back and pulled him into an embrace. She winced slightly at the pain.
  99. “Lorka? Are you okay?”
  100. “Don’t stop!” she told him.
  101. He nodded and redoubled his efforts. Lorka tightens her grip on him and gives him a ferocious kiss, bucking her hips into his as he continued to pound into her. Finally, Lorka felt her insides pulse and she roared as she climaxed, a massive wave of pleasure surging through her body. Thomas followed suite, her insides greedily lapping up every bit of sperm as he released inside of her. Thomas rolled off of Lorka, a content expression on his face as he noted the satisfied look on hers.
  102. “Yeh’v Taru, Aru’ka.” Lorka mumbles as she hugs her human close to her body.
  103. “Yeh’v Taru…that means “I love you” in Orcish doesn’t it?”
  104. Lorka was quiet for a moment. “It does Aru’ka. Maybe I shouldn’t have said it. Maybe I got caught up in the moment.”
  105. Thomas kissed her on the cheek. “Yeh’v Taru, Lorka.”
  106. They both smiled as they basked in the afterglow of their love making, Thomas’s head resting on Lorka’s breast while her arms were wrapped around him.
