Macbook Pro 2009/2010 no power

2009 15" and 17" Macbook Pro designation: Poly tantalum capacitor C7771. The cap is located on the immediate left of resistor R7120.
2010 15" and 17" Macbook Pro designation: tantalum capacitor C9560

Symptoms include no power on the 2009 15" and 17" Macbook Pro, or graphics/video related issues and kernel panics on the 2010 15" and 17" Macbook Pro.
