  1. Mostly, on the outside she's rather aloof, but not rude or unfriendly. At least, not intentionally rude. She'll just rarely start a conversation, especially with a stranger.
  2. Maybe due to the fact that her empathic abilities, which pretty much all canine monstergirls have, are ludicrously weak and unrefined. Whereas the average kobold can sense the emotional gist of your thoughts in a crowded room, my waifu can barely tune in to tell if a person's feeling positive or not.
  3. It can lead to a bit of a complex when you live your whole life surrounded by others like you who can tune into peoples' emotions and converse with them without a hitch, and you're stuck doing it like any other human: with a lot of second-guessing, getting it wrong, awkwardness, and not much actual human connection.
  4. It's probably part of the reason why she pursued the interests that she did. After all, machinery doesn't get angry, or make you feel embarrassed. A comupter can be read and understood without requiring empathy. Even synthetic life like robutts are pretty user friendly.
  5.
  6. Not to say that she literally can't communicate or socialise with people. She's just guarded. But even around strangers, she'll reveal the more snarky, humorous side of her if she's in a comfortable environment. Working, for instance. She'll get quippy around people she knows well, even if they're her superior or rank above her. Because that's one thing about my waifu: she's gifted, talented, smart, and she knows it. She might even be a little overconfident in her own skills. Maybe. It'd depend on who you ask, and wherever or not they've seen her pull of an engineering miracle or two. Point is, she knows how good she is, and she'll latch onto that fact, perhaps because it offers a bit of self-security.
  7.
  8. But she's not a cold person by any stretch, once - if - you get to know her. As confident in her own abilties as she might be, she's not really a narcissist at all. She actually quite admires people working in medical and psychological professions, and admires their skills above her own. Probably because surgery or psychology is something she could never, ever see herself getting into.
  9. And, I guess, like anyone else, she desires someone she can truly open up to. Someone she can be comfortable being around, saying whatever might come into her head, who can come to understand and truly like her. But she's kind of finicky, and though she might not admit it, she wants someone who's interests line up with hers, however esoteric hers might be. And definitely not someone who gets into those interests just to try and get with her, because that, to her, is completely disingenuous. Because someone's first impressions of her might be that she's pretty abrasive, despite her ideas of romance, she isn't exactly lucky in that department.

  11. As far as husbando relationships go, she keeps that well-natured, smirky attitude. But she's a lot more forward and comfortable with it. She welcomes physical contact, but she's more comfortable having sex less frequently. In her mind, it makes it more special and significant, not to mention it feels better. Otherwise, she's happy to end every night in bed with lots of stroking, cuddling, nuzzling and so on. Mostly, she just likes to enjoy being in the company of the one she loves, even if she barely talks. But fairly often, she'll just enjoy talking and bonding over conversation for hours on end. Find somewhere private and comfortable for two people to sit down together, and do nothing else except let loose thoughts and feelings. Even if she has to drag them out of the husbando.

  13. It's kind of funny this thread has discussed identity death so much, too, because I always pinned that as her biggest fear. She values her mind above everything else, and the thought of it degrading or changing for whatever reason terrifies her. Dementia, CTE, her personality being changed, even to the slightest degree, she treats as the worst possible fate she could undergo. She'd rather sacrifice her whole body to preserve her mind, and her ability to think, and she'd make that sacrifice without hesitation.
