Wit Rikona came the cold of winter, chilling all in her immediate vicinity. Icy irises focused upon the forms of those ahead, familiarity evident upon her features.

"A Neries of Dawn, as well as Aspen and another I vaguely recall seeing."

It had been many years, but she recalled Alderam from the time he was skulking around Huangzhou. Now seen with enemies, as she had expected.

"I believe my brother let you go, Aspen, but I am not as forgiving. Alderam, I hadn't expected to see you loitering with this bunch, especially after you were shown such mercy."

"I am Rikona Heifang, Commander of the Fourfold Army and a servant of his Majesty the Emperor."

Rikona spoke in a cold, apathetic tone. Her gaze shifted to Aspen.

"I wish to bring you in, but I don't expect you to come quietly. If you resist, then I ask that you prepare yourself."

Djura folds his arms, analyzing the individuals who appeared there- simply letting out a sigh as he's simply called as a 'Neries of Dawn'. Showing a hint of worry in his expression, the small Neries would try to keep his composure in an attempt to explain his situation.

"'I wish to bring ya in', that's rude, eh. I'm not a Neries of Dawn, in fact, I live in Crafthold. If ya doubt that, I can take ya there- I'm gonna show ya my house." He said while a common key was flashed to them.

"... And what do ya mean with 'loiterin' with this bunch'? I don't care about this entire war, if the reason behind the war is yer scuffle with the vampires, I prefer not to intervene. They're evil, enemies of the progress. I don't wish to fight anyone."

Ume Kimyona whispers: we have quite the problem with trusting neries.

Rikona Heifang whispers: Do any of you recognize this Neries?

Kuso Hitoshi whispers: Yup.

Kuso Hitoshi whispers: I fought him.

Ume Kimyona whispers: ...Hm.

Kuso Hitoshi whispers: When they Raided our city for the prisoner.

Ume Kimyona whispers: I think that about sets our path here.

Ume Kimyona whispers: Commander Rikona?

The Yano's features were rough, indicating she'd been in a battle not long before their arrival. Around her feet, the ground the ground bulged. A nest of her magic lay below the earth, poking through like sprouts.

Mahogany eyes stare towards Djura, then to Rikona. The Fourfold Commander's ambiance was cold and apathetic, apparent by the tone with which she spoke out with.

"What's the point to bringing me in? I don't fight your people or war with Dawn against you. I study there and heal the injured. Nothing more." Truth, as she spoke with a tone laced of odium. Not towards Rikona specifically that the tone was directed to.

"I don't like being in Huangzhou, and I don't want to go there or be disturbed and taken from my studies. I'm not here to fight you, I just happened to be walking by to go home."

Ume's eyes dart over towards the familiar voice, laying upon Aspen's face for a few glances, he recognizes the girl.. though he doesn't say anything of it. It's business first.  "If you assist dawn in anyway, especially healing the injured.. you are considered a threat. Therefore, you shall be dealt as one."

Ume's words were blunt, but definitely stayed in the air.

Shen silently surveyed the individuals from the back of the group. There was no one he could immediately spot out as the enemy, and it seemed like this was going to be a back and forth conversation for as long until someone threw the first punch. Not one of Shen's strong suits.

He didn't recognize anyone. He was just awaiting the judgement of his peers, since they were the most experienced regarding these individuals.

Aspen Yano asks, "I'm considered a threat for healing the injured so they don't /die/?"
Kuso knew two of the people here an one of them he fought before, he didn't trust the words of the man that attack the city with dawn. Kuso let a sigh out and prepared to take the people in, he didn't see any other way for them to get out of this unless it's willingly. The rune mark on his face glows a bit and he knew what that meant..it was about time to kick it into gear or an attempt that at least.

 I remember you from the fight with Dawn, You said something about taking me in and making me pure. You expect me to believe that you just don't aid them anymore? You can live wherever you like but you still aided them when they attack the city,

Glaring towards Djura and Aspen once before turning his attention around for Rikona, loitering doesn't seem to fit the situation Alderam was stuck in.

"I wouldn't call being stopped while trying to mine is a loitering, I won't interfere with whatever you are doing as long as I am not a part of this conflict.

Now then, if you'll excuse me, I have ores to gather."

With no intent of hostility, his decision was to continue whatever he was doing - To snatch some ores from the cave unless someone is going to stop him from moving away from the area.

"As much as I'd like to believe you are indifferent and neutral, you have proved otherwise, Neries. You were part of the assault on Huangzhou, hardly the act of a neutral, peaceful man, eh?"

Her gaze snapped to Aspen now, narrowing her eyes.

"I am fully aware of your situation, Aspen. You lied, pretending to have been beaten up by Priscilla, reporting the kidnapping of a man I consider my brother. Reports contradicted your statements, which said that you were spending a lot of friendly time around the vampires beforehand. You weren't beaten, you simply accepted a request."

"I cannot simply look past this deceit, nor can I forgive aggression towards my people. You choose to assist those who wish to hurt my people, those who corrupt the lifestream and conduct necromancy and chaotic arts."

Rikona sighed, before drawing forth her staff.

"I will be bringing all of you in. I simply cannot afford to fallfor lies, especially from those who have proved to be untrustworthy prior. Those who have acted in an aggressive fashion. You as well, Alderam. If you are innocent then it will be proven. I suggest you all come peacefully."

Aspen Yano says, "I only aided the vampires because they did threaten my life back then. It was either I deliver the message, or be killed by them. I no longer assist the vampires more than I do myself, or anyone who is injured."

Ume Kimyona says, "If you are innocent. Then it shall be proven. "

Alderam Jäger says, "Yay, another Truth session."

Ume Kimyona says, "That applies to the both of you. "

Aspen Yano says, "Truth session.. more like more mental damage and depression. The only thing I ever gained out of my time in Huangzhou."
The old and jaded mercenary spots something happening deep within the caves as she traveled. She decided to stick around after hearing them talk, not in the hopes of witnessing any violence however, she was really just trying to figure out where the world was at, it seemed to shoot on past her in the blink of an eye, so many things had changed.

She stayed far back behind the larger group, yet her holystorm aura would likely give away her position if anyone cared to look. She sat upon a golden cloud, yellowgold eyes flicking from person to person.

Djura keeps his arms folded, briefly shaking his head towards the Kitsune, at this point- with that party, they can't fight back, but it doesn't mean he'll allow such rudeness towards them.

"- I can't make ya pure. Listen, ya don't need to put words in my mouth to attack me, the Dreamer tells us to act with humility, thus sayin' somethin' like that wouldn't be humility.

I don't believe anyone is pure, we're all flawed. And... It's really funny how wrong yer information about everythin' is wrong- perhaps purposeful, heh? In the raid I fought ya, I didn't hurt any innocent. As far as I know, we didn't aim to hurt yer people, we tried to save a prisoner... A mother, to be honest. Someone who has two children, but it's too hard for yer understandin', I guess.

That isn't justice, that isn't fair. Forcibly bringin' people to yer country 'cuz they don't live within yer walls isn't right, I don't agree with bein' taken by people I've never met to a place that I've never frequented. The Dreamer tells us to understand views, I can understand how suspicious we may look, but doin' this kind of stuff won't help the situation at all.

We aren't valuable warriors, we aren't 'strong', if anythin', I'm a simple citizen who preaches under the one who blessed me."

Ume Kimyona says, "Regardless of what you say, once again. You will be brought back from Commander Rikona's words. Be it peacefully, or by force."

Ume Kimyona says, "If you truly believe you are not guilty, then it shall be proven."
"Well. If that is your answer, then I don't have much of a choice other than to believe you, Rikona." he finally spoke up from the back of the group, deciding to place his faith in the Commander rather than the potential lies of the strangers before him.

In this situation, Shen was truly nothing more than extra muscle. He didn't offer any kind of opinion on the matter, instead reaching behind his back to grasp onto his weapon and pull it free from it's sheath. The cry of metal was accompanied by a glimmering light, reflecting Rikona's attunement with the polished metal.

"This one follows the Dreamer, as well. An enemy of the Emperor. I have no doubt in my mind now that they must be taken in." he declared whenever Djura spoke, a cerulean glow beginning to pour from Shen's body as he tugged on his soulbond. His brilliance threatened to illuminate every corner of the cave.

And he stood at attention, waiting for their answer.

Djura says, "... The Dreamer isn't an enemy of the Emperor. If ya are willin' to listen to her tenets, I'm gonna tell 'em."

Djura says, "In fact, they're quite... peaceful, huh."

Ume Kimyona says, "Once again, we will listen once in safe territory. Now will this be done by force, or peacefully."

Rikona Heifang says, "You are more than welcome to recite them all one we return to Huangzhou, yes. "

Djura says, "No."

Shen says, "They are but silver tongued lies, the same as Azrael worship."

Djura asks, "Why do ya say so?"

Rikona Heifang asks, "Then you will be taken by force, I believe I made myself clear. Unless you intend on running?"

Ume Kimyona says, "Shen, this is no time for personal beliefs. All shall be said later. As of now our concern is bringing these people back. "

Djura says, "Well. There's no agreement between us, huh? So I challenge the one who is leadin' y'all for a fight. I don't intend to escape, but fightin' an unfair fight isn't my intention as well. I'd like to challenge whoever is leadin' y'all."

Ume Kimyona says, "You are of no place to give orders."

Djura says, "... I don't think anyone can give orders. We can't, but yer group can't as well, it isn't even yer territory."
"I have no interest with Huangzhou, nor do I have fascination in your attempt to detain us for some questioning session if we'll be just be let go. What the fuck is there to prove?"

Slowly breaking from the ground below Aspen came the nest of coiled nature in plentiful hues of browns and greens. Blood magic from an earlier altercation shrouded Aspen in a veil.

"I'm not coming with you. I have nothing to prove if you don't believe me now. I've stated what I could about my work."

Ume Kimyona says, "I have no interest to bicker. Our intentions were made clear. And will be carried out. It is the Commander's command which matters."
"We are going to bring all of you in. I suggest you prepare yourselves, because I intend on detaining you."

Her gaze shifted to Alderam, quirking a brow.

"Do you plan on coming peacefully? The other two have spoken their mind."

Tanya saw that things were devolving into bickering and fighting, and thinking that there was nothing left to learn from all this, she floated away, leaving the gathering completely.

Never once he had any intent of hostility nor resistance, Alderam simply slides in towards the group of four.

"You'd better let me mine anywhere I want after this, whatever it is you are planning."

He came peacefully, there's no reason for him to protect the other two it seems.

Ume smiled, he had a little bias for Alderam... he knew he'd make the right decision, but he wasn't going to speak his mine. Business first.

Aspen Yano has sustained a grevious injury in battle...

Ume gulped before charging into battle.. he wasn't intimidated, he simply didn't think he'd be fighting... Aspen of all people. But... business was first. Ume charged into battle, throwing back the attacks of Aspen and the occasional discourse attacks of Djura, though his defense was sorely lacking.. he took several painful blows.

As the battle progressed, Ume gripped his fists and burned with shadow flame.  "Orders from the Commander shall not be ignored."  The plum man, who was usually seen as sweet and caring.. had no mercy for these two it seemed.. especially the Neries.

As both teams would keep their distance recollecting themselves, Ume would peer over and nod to Kuso, they truly were a devilish combo...

Ume charged once again, sooner than Djura and Aspen were hoping for sure... but this time, very little would talk place.. something could be heard, but only by Aspen...  "Forgive me. But you must pay."  Ume would plunge his fist through Aspen, blood splattering to the floor.. unfortunately, that wasn't the end of it.

Ume would grip and an explosion of shadowflame could be seen from Rikona and the other's view...

as the fog covered the air, Rikona and the others could make out the image of the kitsune with blood dripping from his hands and shadowflame coursing through it, as well as the greviously injured Aspen. The fight was decided, but as the fog covered Aspen, a clear escape route could be devised.

Kuso in the state of battle heard the whispers and yet they were so faith he almost didn't notice them, the runic mark her receive from the Dyrad to calm his soul begin to glow on his face. He felt different...almost like a new person yet had very little reaction to this feeling. The deepest thoughts of the man filled with despair and loneliness were present at the moment, but had very little affect to his physical state.

He felt numb, nothingness, as the voices tried to cause the man pain he wasn't aware of their actions for a moment. The voice slowly faded in but deep within the back of his mind.  What did you do!  Though it didn't seems to get a reaction, he'd look at his hand then around his surroundings forgetting that he jsut won a battle against the people of dawn.

His occult flames flicked though they remained calmly over his body, the chilling feeling he'd get from his occult magic was now awarm feeling. The thoughts in his mind still trying their best to get through, but failed each time. Suddenly the man realized something.., he could have finally gone mad and lost fully control over his body.., but it didn't bother him one bit.

 I'm still here right?  He asked questioning himself over and over again. Assume he received an answer the second though appeared in his mind and his journey might have reach the end. He could have been at the pinnacle of occult magic, but has he really.

 I don't hear anything.....

His mind was almost complete clear of everything and yet he felt much stronger than before, did his mind forget everything in this state of despair? It was too early to tell though he wasn't mad nor ready to kill anyone to please the whispers. He'd fall to the ground slowly panting trying to gather himself and not enter a state of panic.

 I-I think I've done it.....I'm not sure.....I'm not sure how I feel....

He'd walk back towards the group forgetting what they even came out for on this night, he'd focus his attention to other thing and he'd fall to the ground quickly getting back up. The runic marks stop glowing and his spirit remained calm gently fading away until next time...Kuso looked beat almost as if he'd pass out need a bit of support to make it back home.

 I think..i think I became the master..... he'd slowly begin to sleep while standing up all his energy was burnt out from the battle and the awaking of his training.

Djura lost the battle, nothing his side could do against the Kitsune, besides their strength, Djura is really weak against those who wield darkness- those who are able to weaken his healing power.

Still, there was a chance to escape, and he wouldn't waste this chance! In the darkness of the night, Djura would camouflage himself, running out from that cave as quick as he could.
