background: woosung was born in los angeles to a wealthy father and a mother that was a teacher at a local school . traumatic events started to follow his family when he was just a few years old , and his brother evan had gotten into a crash and suffered a pretty good injury when his babysitter drove into a tree in a fit of blind rage . she had gone to jail , and their parents had to make the heartbreaking decision to let evan go . some other things happened , including their house burning down for seemingly no reason , although it was later figured out that their newspaper delivery boy had set it on fire for some sort of revenge . so they moved to daegu when woosung was thirteen , and his youngest sibling was seven . by the time she had turned twelve , their father was drunk picking her up in the middle of the night from a friend’s house , and drove straight into a tree - once realizing , he ran out of the car , knowing that he had no time to save her before his truck had burst into flames . his still at the time wife ended up going through with the divorce , changing her name back to lillian wang , and she moved out , leaving the twins with him , and taking woosung . for a few years , up until woosung turned seventeen , her and him lived together in an apartment in daegu , away from the rest of the family . one night his mother called him and told him to call the police , that someone had broken into their apartment in the night . so he did , but he made his way home as well , sneaking in - only to witness his father shoot and kill his mother , triggering his fight sense instead of flight , and therefore causing him to kill his father as well . the police showed up but they ruled it as self defense , as his father had put up a good fight with him as well , and so their legal guardian became a friend of his until he turned eighteen . his friend still has full custody over his siblings , though .
