(Getter Dragon appears nearby.)

Ryoma: That’s... Getter Dragon!

「戦え、戦うのだ!!
世界最後のその日まで!!」
Dr. Saotome: Fight, fight I say!! Until the day of Armageddon approaches!

(Saotome, Stinger, and Cowen leave on Getter Dragon.)

「逃がすか! 俺はゲッターで出る!!」
Ryoma: They got away! I’m getting in my Getter!!

(Ryoma runs off.)

「渓! しっかりしろ!
ここにいては危険だ!」
Benkei: Kei! Get a hold of yourself! It’s dangerous here!

Kei: ...

弁慶
「くっ…。
凱、渓を連れて行く。手伝ってくれ!」
Benkei: Ngh... Gai, we’re leaving with Kei. Give me a hand!

Gai: R-Right!

「隼人、何してる! お前も早く逃げろ!」
Benkei: Hayato, what are you doing!? You need to get out of here too!

The True Getter Robo


(Scene begins on the map screen of the Saotome Institute. Ryoma appears. Invaders appear on the other side, along with Saotome in a Getter Dragon.)

「あの爆発を生き延びたとは、しぶとい限りよ!」
Dr. Saotome: Your quite tenacious to have survived that explosion!

竜馬
「うるせえ、お互い様だろうが!
ゲッター同士の戦いで俺に勝てると思うなよ!」
Ryoma: Same goes to you, doesn’t it!? But don’t think you can beat me in a battle of Getters!

早乙女博士
「フハハハハ!
こう見えても初代ゲッターチームであった一人よ!
舐めてかかると痛い目を見るのはお前だぞ!」
Dr. Saotome: Bwahahahaha! Despite my appearance, I was a member of the original Getter Team! Underestimate me at your own peril!

竜馬
「寝言は寝て言え!!
今度こそてめえに引導を渡してやらぁ!」
Ryoma: That’s enough out of you!! When you go to hell this time, make sure you stay there!

(Battle 1 begins.)

(After one turn, Londo Bell appears and the player’s team deploys.)

「竜馬さん! 間に合って良かった!」
Guy: Ryoma! I’m glad we made it in time!

「凱か…! 見ての通り、取り込み中だ!」
Ryoma: Guy...! I’m in the middle of something, if you can’t tell!

「他の連中もやって来おったか」
Dr. Saotome: Your friends have certainly come a long way.

「あれが早乙女博士…
かつて、この世界を恐怖に陥れた人物だったな」
Banjo: So that’s Dr. Saotome... The man who once terrorized this world.

「まさか、インベーダーの手先になっていたとは」
Tetsuya: I can’t believe the Invaders are listening to him.

「しかも、ゲッターに乗って戦っているなんて…!」
Banagher: And he’s using a Getter to fight too...!

「普通じゃない…!」
Shinji: None of this is normal...!

「ま、ゲッターのパイロットが
そうだってことには同意するけど」
Asuka: Well, I agree it’s weird to see him piloting a Getter at least.

「うるせえ! てめえらもさっさと手を貸せ!」
Ryoma: Can it! If you’re going to help, then get on with it already!

「そうだ、戦え! 戦い続けるのだ!!
ハーッハッハッハッハ!!」
Dr. Saotome: That’s right, fight! Keep fighting!! Haahahahahaha!

(Battle 1 continues.)

(This exchange triggers if Ryoma battles Saotome.)

インベーダーの手下に成り下がったてめえに
かける情けはねえ!!」
Ryoma: It’s pathetic seeing you reduced to being the Invader’s puppet, old man!

「甘いな、竜馬よ…!
真の進化の前にはささいなことに過ぎんと
何故わからん?」
Dr. Saotome: You’re naïve, Ryoma...! How can you not see that this is trivial in the face of obtaining true evolution?

(Battle 1 ends when Saotome is defeated.)

「フフ、まだまだよ!
その程度の力で、このワシに勝てると思うな!」
Dr. Saotome: Haha! More, keep going! You’ll never defeat me with this pitiful amount of power!

Ryoma: More like you just don’t know how to admit defeat! If you want me to finish this so badly then—!

Ryoma: !? It’s that voice!

Guy: What’s wrong, Ryoma!?

「目覚め始めて…
いや、目覚めたようだな、號よ!」
Dr. Saotome: He’s begun to awaken... No, Go is already awake!

「そして、真ドラゴンの目覚めも…!
ならば、今は一旦退いても良かろう!
ハーハッハッハッハッハ!!」
Dr. Saotome: And with him, Shin Dragon will awaken as well...! In that case, I can take my leave for now! Haahahahahaha!!

インベーダーに乗っ取られていたんでしょう」
Benkei: The Invaders could have already been controlling them 15 years ago.

「あの日に発射された重陽子ミサイルは、
あの二人が仕組んだ物だったのかも知れんな」
Chief Oka: It’s possible the deuteron missile launched on that day was all a part of their plan.

「そして、早乙女博士の目的はいったい…」

真ドラゴンについて、流竜馬が気になることを
述べていました」
Bright: Regarding that, Ryoma Nagare has expressed his concern for Shin Dragon, which is underneath the Saotome Institute.

Chief Oka: Why is that?

「彼にだけ聞こえる謎の声が
真ドラゴンが目覚める前に
もう一つの力を…と言ったそうです」
Bright: A mysterious voice that only he can hear told him about obtaining another power before Shin Dragon awakens. ...Or so he says.

Hayato: ...!

「中佐、思い当たることがあるのか?」
Chief Oka: Does that mean anything to you, Lieutenant Colonel?

「…それを調べさせて下さい。確証を得るために」
Hayato: ...Allow me to look into it first. I need to confirm it for myself.

Benkei: ! Kei, look out!!

Benkei: Damn...monsters! You won’t get Kei!!

(Benkei shoots the Invader.)

「ギギッ!?」
Invader: Gugh!?

(The Invader dies.)

「親父、大丈夫!?」
Kei: Dad, are you okay!?

弁慶
「ああ、かすり傷だ。それより、今は…」
Benkei: Yeah, it’s just a scratch. But right now we...

(Hayato receives a call.)

「司令、早乙女博士が再び現れました!
ラー・カイラムとオケアノスが応戦中です!」
Yamazaki: Commander, Dr. Saotome has reappeared! The Ra Cailum and the Oceanus are already moving to counterattack!

隼人
「こちらはすぐに戻れない。
タワーは後方でラー・カイラムの支援にあたれ。
後の指揮はお前に任せる」
Hayato: We can’t return right away. Have the Tower support the Ra Cailum from the rear. After that, it’s your call.

ヤマザキ
「了解です!」
Yamazaki: Roger!

隼人
「奴らが動き出した…。
號、あれの場所はわかるか?」
Hayato: They’re on the move... Go, do you know where it is?

「新しい力のことか…?」
Go: The new power...?

隼人
「そうだ。真ドラゴンに対抗する力、
あれを目覚めさせる時が来た…!」
Hayato: Exactly. The time has come to awaken the power capable of opposing Shin Dragon...!

「…わかった。行こう」
Go: ...I understand. Let’s go.

弁慶
「新しい力だと?
隼人、ここに何があるというんだ?」
Benkei: What do you mean by new power? Hayato, what’s here?

隼人
「ここは早乙女研究所。
となれば、答えは限られているだろう?」
Hayato: This is the Saotome Institute. That alone should make it obvious.

弁慶
「まさか…新しいゲッターなのか!?」
Benkei: You don’t mean... A new Getter!?


(Scene changes to the map screen of the Saotome Institute. The Ra Cailum, the Oceanus, Ryoma, Didarion, and the player’s team are on the map. Saotome is on the other end with several Invaders. The Invaders are attacked by Londo Bell.)


早乙女博士
「ハハハハハ! 多少やられようとも
こちらはまだまだ数がいるぞ!」
Dr. Saotome: Hahahaha! Even if you do away with a few of them, there are always more yet to come!

ヒイロ
「相変わらずの数頼みか」
Heero: As usual, they are relying on numbers.

ミナト
「こちらが警戒しているのを承知の上で
攻めて来ましたね」
Minato: They attacked us even while knowing we were on high alert.

シマ
「彼が求めるのはここに眠る真ドラゴンか、
新たな力と呼ばれる何かなのか…」
Shima: Is he after the sleeping Shin Dragon, or is his goal whatever this “new power” is...?

ディーダリオン
「インベーダーの数は多いが、
早乙女博士さえ倒せば…!」
Didarion: Even with so many Invaders, if we can just defeat Dr. Saotome then...!

竜馬
「そいつは俺がやる…!」
Ryoma: Leave him to me...!

(Ryoma rushes past all the Invaders and moves to Saotome.)

早乙女博士
「来たか、竜馬よ!!
再会の熱き抱擁でも交わそうではないか!!」
Dr. Saotome: Come, Ryoma!! Why don’t we celebrate our reunion with a loving embracing!!

(Ryoma is attacked and Black Getter begins sparking.)

竜馬
「なっ…!?
このっ! 放しやがれ、ジジイ!!」
Ryoma: Wha...!? Damn! The hell did you do, old man!?

早乙女博士
「遠慮はいらんぞ、竜馬!
たっぷりと受け取るがいいわ!
お前達の大好きなゲッター線をな!!」
Dr. Saotome: No need to hold back, Ryoma! There’s plenty to go around!! You and your friends will love the Getter Rays!!

(Saotome attacks Ryoma.)

竜馬
「ぐああああっ!?」
Ryoma: Gwaaaagh!?

凱
「竜馬さん!」
Guy: Ryoma!

早乙女博士
「フハハハハハッ!
旧式のゲッター1には刺激が強すぎたかな?」
Dr. Saotome: Bwahahahaha! Was that too much stimulation for the old Getter-1?

竜馬
「ぐっ…ゲッター炉心が…!」
Ryoma: Ugh... Getter’s core is...!

弁慶
「竜馬! 何とか早乙女研究所まで来い!」
Benkei: Ryoma! You have to get over to the Saotome Institute somehow!

竜馬
「弁慶!? 研究所に行ってどうなるってんだ!?」
Ryoma: Benkei!? Why do I need to go over there!?

隼人
「新しい力…真ゲッターを使うんだ!」
Hayato: To wield the new power... Shin Getter!

竜馬
「真ゲッターだと!?」
Ryoma: Shin Getter!?

早乙女博士
「ほう…面白い。
人の手に余るそいつを使いこなせる者が
この世におるとは思えんがな!」
Dr. Saotome: Oh? ...How amusing. Unfortunately I don’t believe there’s anyone in this world capable of using it!

早乙女博士
「そもそもこの状態で、
どうやって真ゲッターの所まで行くつもりだ?」
Dr. Saotome: First of all, just how do you intend to reach Shin Getter in the pathetic state you’re in?

(Didarion attacks Saotome.)

早乙女博士
「む…?」
Dr. Saotome: Hm...?

ディーダリオン
「今だ! 行け、竜馬!」
Didarion: Now! Get going, Ryoma!

竜馬
「礼は言わねえぜ、ディーダリオン!」
Ryoma: Don’t expect a thank you, Didarion!

(Ryoma rushes into the Saotome Institute.)

(急がなければならない気がする。
何かが起ころうとしている。
災厄が生まれたこの地で…)
Didarion: (I feel like I have to hurry. Something’s going to happen here. A calamity is going to be born here...)

隼人
「早く乗れ!」
Hayato: Hurry and get in!

竜馬
「隼人! 弁慶も乗ってるのか!?」
Ryoma: Hayato! You want me to pilot with you and Benkei!?

弁慶
「こいつは3人乗りでな。
以前のように俺達ゲッターチームでやるぞ!」
Benkei: This guy’s a three seater. It’ll be just like when we were the Getter Team!

竜馬
「ゲッターチーム、か…」
Ryoma: The Getter Team, huh...

隼人
「俺と乗るのは不服か?」
Hayato: You disapprove of piloting with me?

竜馬
「…いや、今は四の五の言う気はねえ!
てめえら、腕は錆びつかせていねえだろうな!」
Benkei: ...Nah, I’m not gonna complain about something trivial like that! But you better not have gotten rusty!

隼人
「フッ、当然だ」
Hayato: Heh, of course not.

弁慶
「行くぞ!!」
Benkei: Let’s do this!!

(Shin Getter appears.)

凱
「あれは…」
Guy: That’s...

竜馬
「こいつが真ゲッター…!
なるほど…すげえパワーを感じるぜ…!!」
Ryoma: So this is Shin Getter...! I see... I can feel its overwhelming power...!

アムロ
「早乙女研究所の地下に
隠してあったのか…!?」
Amuro: That was hidden underneath the Saotome Institute...!?

ミサト
(そんな…! 隠し通せるわけがないわ。
でも、実際には今日まで見つからなかった。
どういうこと…?)
Misato: (Impossible...! There’s no way they could have kept a thing like that hidden! But, they really did, because no one ever found it until today. How could that be...?)

隼人
「渓! 凱! 號!
お前達はラー・カイラムに
急いで収容してもらえ!」
Hayato: Kei! Gai! Go! You three get aboard the Ra Cailum immediately!

凱
「は、はい!」
Gai: R-Right!

早乙女博士
「現れたか、真ゲッターよ!
貴様の力も我らの糧としてくれよう!
世界最後の日を迎えるためにな!」
Dr. Saotome: Shin Getter has arrived! Let its power become our nourishment! So that we may welcome the end of the world!

竜馬
「うるせえ!
最後を迎えるのは、てめえの方だ!
真ゲッターの力、その身で味わえ!!」
Ryoma: Shut your damn mouth! The only end you’ll be welcoming is your own! Now get a taste of Shin Getter’s power!

(Battle 2 begins.)

(This exchange triggers if Ryoma battles Saotome.)

竜馬
「どういうつもりだかは知らねえが、
この真ゲッターの力、身をもって知りやがれ!」
Ryoma: I don’t know what the hell it is you’re after, but I’ll make sure that you know the power of Shin Getter firsthand!

早乙女博士
「そうだ!
竜馬よ、戦え! 戦い、強くなれ!」
Dr. Saotome: Excellent! Fight me, Ryoma! Fight, and grow strong!

弁慶
「俺達も忘れてもらっちゃ困るぜ、博士!」
Benkei: We don’t want you forgetting about us either, Doctor!

隼人
「因縁があるのは竜馬だけではない!」
Hayato: Ryoma isn’t the only one with a score to settle!

(Battle 2 ends when Saotome is defeated.)

早乙女博士
「フフフ…異世界を渡り歩き、
お前達は着実に強者へと成長しておるようだな。
生命なき世界で戦った時とはもはや別物よ」
Dr. Saotome: Heh heh heh... As you’ve traveled through the other worlds, you’ve steadily grown stronger and stronger.  It’s a far cry from when you fought in that lifeless world.

シズノ
「生命なき世界ですって?」
Shizuno: Lifeless world?

キョウ
「それって、俺達の世界のことか!?」
Kyo: Wait, is he talking about our world!?

早乙女博士
「他の世界のことも知っておるぞ。
何故ならインベーダーどもにゲートを偵察をさせ、
ゲッター線を採集させたのはこのワシなのだからな!」
Dr. Saotome: I know all about the other worlds as well. For it was I who commanded the Invaders to enter the Gates and gather Getter Rays!

万丈
「なるほど。
道理で僕達との戦い方も把握しているわけだ」
Banjo: I see. It’s no wonder he was familiar with how we fight.

早乙女博士
「全ての世界にゲッター線は満ち満ちておる!
使わんのはもったいないと思わんか?」
Dr. Saotome: All worlds are abundant with Getter Rays! Don’t you find it wasteful for them to go unused?

隼人
「ゲッター線を集めて何をするつもりだ!?」
Hayato: And what do you plan to do by collecting all those Getter Rays!?

早乙女博士
「今にわかる!
そう、全てはこれから始まるのだからな!
並行世界…全ての世界が終わる日が!!」
Dr. Saotome: You’ll soon find out! Yes, because it will all begin here! The parallel worlds... Every world will face Armageddon!!

童馬
「そうかい…!
なら、てめえはそれを見ずにあの世へ行きやがれ!
今度こそなあ!!」
Ryoma: You sure about that...!? Because the only place your going is the afterlife! And this time, I’ll make sure you rot there!!

(Didarion senses something.)

ディーダリオン
「これは…!?」
Didarion: This is...!?

メグ
「どうしたの、ディド!?」
Meg: What’s wrong, Dido!?

ディーダリオン
「ゲートが…開く…!」
Didarion: A Gate...is opening...!

早乙女博士
「なるほど…そうか、そういうことか…!
ならば…!」
Dr. Saotome: I see... Yes, that’s how it is...! In that case...!

竜馬
「ジジイ! 何をするつもりだ!?」
Ryoma: The hell do you think you’re doing, gramps!?

早乙女博士
「決まっておろうが!
ゲートが現れたなら、やることは
ただ一つ…」
Dr. Saotome: I’m sure it’s quite obvious! The moment the Gate appears...

(A Gate appears.)

早乙女博士
「その中へ飛び込むのよ!!」
Dr. Saotome: I’ll dive straight into it!!

(Saotome rushes into the Gate as Invaders appear to block the way. Once he enters the Gate, the Invaders follow him.)

竜馬
「待ちやがれ !!」
Ryoma: Hold it!!

隼人
「竜馬、待て!」
Hayato: Ryoma, wait!

ミサト
「どこに繋がっているか、わからないのよ!
迂闊に飛び込むのは危険だわ!」
Misato: We have no idea where it leads to! It’s not safe to just charge in!

竜馬
「うるせえ!
早乙女のジジイを見逃せるわきゃねえだろ!」
Ryoma: Like I care! I’m not letting old man Saotome get away!

ディーダリオン
「待て!」
Didarion: Wait!

竜馬
「!?」
Ryoma: !?

ディーダリオン
「今は駄目だ…もう少し…」
Didarion: Don’t go right now... Wait just a little longer...

竜馬
「何だと…!?」
Ryoma: What the hell for...!?

弁慶
「竜馬、ディーダリオンは何かを感じている!
ここは従え! あいつはゲートと関わりを
持つ奴だぞ!」
Benkei: Didarion senses something, Ryoma! Listen to him! He’s got more of a connection to the Gates than anyone!

竜馬
「う…!」
Ryoma: Ngh...!

ディーダリオン
「よし、今なら!」
Didarion: Alright, now!

弁慶
「童馬!!」
Benkei: Ryoma!!

竜馬
「言をれずとも!!」
Ryoma: You don’t need to tell me!!

(Ryoma enters the Gate.)

「ゲッターが!」
Misato: The Getter!

メグ
「ディド、ホントに良かったの!?」
Meg: Dido, are you sure this is okay!?

ディーダリオン
「ああ…声が聞こえた」
Didarion: Yeah... It’s what I heard from the voice.

メグ
「声!? 誰の!?」
Meg: Voice!? Whose!?

ブライト
「大至急、無人偵察機をゲートへ!
繋がっている先を調査しろ!」
Bright: Send drones into the Gate ASAP! Find out what’s on the other side!

ディーダリオン
「その時間はない。
あのゲートはまもなく消える。
飛び込むなら、今だ」
Didarion: There’s no time for that. The Gate will vanish soon. If we’re going in, we have to do it now.

ブライト
「…!」
Bright: ...!

ミサト
「艦長、どうします!?」
Misato: What should we do, Captain!?

ブライト
「このまま早乙女博士を見逃すのは危険だ…
全艦、全機に告ぐ! ゲート内に突入するぞ!」
Bright: At this point, allowing Dr. Saotome to run free would be too grave a risk... All ships, all units, we’re entering the Gate!

ブライト
「エヴァンゲリオン他、バリアを持っている機体は
ラー・カイラムの上へ! その他の機体は
直ちに帰艦せよ!」
Bright: Have the Evangelions and all other units with barriers positioned atop the Ra Cailum! All other units, return to ship immediately!

ミサト
(さすが、判断が早い…!)
Misato: (He decided fast, just like always...!)

(危険な賭けだが…。
今は真ゲッターとディーダリオンの導きを
信じるしかない…!)
Bright: (This is a dangerous gamble... All we can do now is have faith in Shin Getter and Didarion’s guidance...!)
