Background: Daniel Liu-Chou was born on May 31, 2000 to f(x)'s Amber and her husband Andrew "Andy" Chou (who was a photographer). Daniel loved to sing and dance since he was young. He began taking singing lessons when he was 5, and dancing lessons when he was 7. Unlike most of the other guys, Daniel didn't like playing sports or video games, and he didn't like making spitballs in class. He was also smaller and skinnier then the other guys. He was kind of lonely as a result, and even got bullied a bit. His mother supported him a lot, having also been bullied for defying the "standards" for her gender. Daniel looked up to his mother with all he had, and decided to try and become a singer to make his mom proud and show the people who bullied him that what they said meant nothing and that he had value.
