6.

Chemical Testing Procedure
[small]This guide describes how to test for various chemical properties. When dealing with unknown chemicals, it is important to make adequate test subject preparations and follow proper testing procedures.[/small]
7.
8.
Testing for generic properties:
[small]Overdose
9. It is important to test the overdose ratio of any unknown chemicals before proper experimentation can begin. The test subject should be given a dosis of 5 units at a time via syringe until a significant negative effect can be observed. The total dosis until this happens should be noted.
10.
11. Metabolization Rate
12. Less important for experimentation, but can prove useful. A small dosis of 5 units or less should be injected into the test subject and the current time noted. Note the time when all traces of the chemical has been metabolized and the metabolization rate can be calculated. This information can be useful when distributing substances which can not scanned, to avoid unnecessary overdoses.[/small]
13.
14.
Testing for negative properties:
[small]Prepare a healthy test subject before testing. Inject a small dosis, usually 5 units, and note any observable external or internal effects. All negative effects should be noted.
15.
16. Negative effects of a chemical can be useful when testing other chemical substances.[/small]
17.
18.
Testing for positive properties:
[small]Unlike negative properties, these can be significantly harder to test without adequate test subject preparations. Preferably, the test subject should be slightly wounded, unhealthy or damaged in as many ways as possible, to avoid needless repeated testing. It is thus advised that these test subjects are prepared in advance.
19.
20.
21. Testing Mixture
22. Below is written how to prepare a 120u mixture of various chemicals to inflict as many types of damage to the test subject as possible. This mixture is designed to be administered in a 10 unit dosis, meaning that the injected amount of each chemical is a 12th of the volume of each chemical.
23.
24.
Brain: 5 Mercury
25.
Radiation: 10u Radium
26.
Brute: 10u Chlorine
27.
Toxin: 10u Phoron
28.
Burn: 10u Thermite
29.
Heart: 75u Hyperzine
30.
31. Other Symptoms:
32. Some types of wounds can't be inflicted by the testing mixture easily. Below is a list of ways to inflict harm to the test subject in ways that will require separate procedures.
33.
34.
Eyes: Stabbing a screwdriver into the eyes, Dylovene Overdose, Using Welder unprotected
35.
Liver: Critical Paracetamol Overdose (>100 units), Alcohol Poisoning
36.
Bloodloss: Extraction of Blood via syringe or IV.
37.
Kidneys: No clean method exists. Possibly through extreme brute damage to groin or moving unsplinted with broken groin.
38.
Lungs: No clean method exists. Possibly through extreme brute damage to chest or moving unsplinted with broken chest.
39.
40. The Testing:
41. Once an appropriate test subject is prepared, a small dosis of the chemical that needs testing should be administered. Observe external and internal wounds for any healing properties.
42.
43. Note: When testing on a subject with organ damage, it is advised to administer peridaxon to avoid an increase in damage, as that will result in unconclusive test results. For long term test subject storage, a stasis bag is recommended.
