Sally vs Bride of the Monster

    A dark forest, a strange dreary place that few men dare to venture; despite their being a fairly large city within a very short driving distance away. Along one stream bed there is a very peculiar sight; a lawn chair upon which is resting a shapely woman in a green sorceress’ costume with gold trim along her boots and cape; her long green hair draped over the back of the chair.

   As she lounges, a very large; although not really monstrously so, octopus creeps from the nearby stream. The woman cracks a smile and with a simple gesture of her index finger skyward utters the words, “Spark Shot”.

   A flash of lightning strikes the creature and for some reason it explodes violently. The woman raises a brow at the strange occurrence and turns her head as she hears a man moaning.

  “Oh,” she says as she summons an arcane blue sigil in her hand, “Bride of the Monster…had two…monsters; if they can really be called that. A giant octopus and…some guy…a killer…no powers, nothing supernatural…just eh…”

  As the man approaches the woman leaps into the air and performs an aerial round house kick, striking him against the side of his skull and sending him flying into the woods; all the while not seeming to be paying attention to him, but rather that of her data spell. Which indicates that the second “monster” has been eliminated.

  “Well…poo,” says the woman putting her spell away, “My first crack at one of these and I pick a dud, what’s with that title anyway…I thought this was that one with the bolts in his neck.”

  With that a green swirling vortex appears, “Well, maybe next time Sally ole girl,” she says with a laugh and leaps through the vortex.
