The Wu

The Risen One - The leader of the pantheon. Risen above the rest. Clerics will pray to him when they need strength in leadership, or when chaos consumes their lives and order is required.

The Godhead - Source of all spiritual enlightenment. Knower of secrets. Clerics pray to him when attempting to understand something that they cannot comprehend, and specific incantations to the Godhead are muttered when renewing one's daily spells.

The Old One (May also be called The Bastard) - Former member of the pantheon. Now a dead God who gave his life to aid in creation of the universe. It is not believed that his body comprises the planets and that his soul comprises the stars. His prayers are often said in groups, in unison, but may be invoked personally. He is prayed to when a cleric feels that the world has gone mad.

The Methodical One - God of movement, action, and change. Defies stagnation. Clerics will pray to him when they desire a certain change or movement, or when they are stuck in a rut, physical or spiritual.

The Chef Shallah - Creator of all that is new, recycler of things that are old. Worshipers will invoke his name before a meal by joyfully shouting "Shallah!" Clerics will pray to him when a child is born and during baptisms (Children and converts both), or when giving new life to someone who has died.

The Ghost - Minister of death and destroyer of evil. Also a primary god of love, strangely. It is said that when someone dies, The Ghost will appear to them with a blank face. Where his face should be is instead a display of that person's entire life, to be viewed before they are taken to their respective hearafter (Whether they like it or not). Clerics will pray to him at funerals and during moments of sorry, or when killing someone is a requirement of their duties. His name is also invoked during marriage ceremonies.

The Divine Inspector - Judge of the afterlife and minister of fate. Known for being rebellious. Clerics will pray to him at times of death, too, usually after the death of a righteous man or woman. His name will also be invoked when any strong judgement must be taken.

The Gilded One - The God of Universal Law and Order. Clerics will pray to him during any dealings with law, government, and politics, physical or otherwise. He is invoked to settle disputes.

The High Chief - Manages interactions with mortals and petitioners. Clerics will pray to him for assistance when dealing with the "unenlightened" or during any other time of general frustration and strife.

The nine gods of this pantheon embody the nine virtues of the religion:
*Leadership
*Mental fortitude
*Sacrifice
*Change
*Creativity
*Decisiveness
*Mercy
*Orderliness
*Humility

The clergy of the pantheon is known for their yellow priestly robes resembling those of shaolin monks. They sport their holy symbol with pride, usually on simple strands of wooden prayer beads, but large, golden displays are not uncommon. Each god is worshiped in their own way for different reasons, but they are worshiped as a whole, representing all that is good in the universe.

Their divine realm is known as the Temple of the 36 Chambers. It is an elaborate realm, each god with their own sections, and each Chamber being separate, but unified with the rest. Indeed, the number 36 is holy to followers of this pantheon.

Followers of the pantheon are known for putting emphasis on the nine virtues, exemplified by martial arts, poetry, dance, and elaborate celebration. Verbal battles (Known as Signifying) and debates organized in a similar manner to poetry slams are a common way of proving oneself and becoming closer to the pantheon.

In addition to their clerics, the pantheon is primarily worshiped by monks and warriors.
