  2. Farming is a trade practiced by yokels all yonder. If you can read this book you are most likely not a yokel, but I am going to tell you about farming anyways. This guide will give you practicle wisdom on how to grow anything that you can on this blood ridden earth.^^\
  3. Flax^\
  4. Flax is commonly used for making linen. Flax grows fast in large fields marked with cloth signs, but can also be found in the wild in small patches which you can pull up without a tool. To sow flax, throw at least 4 clumps of seeds on a prepared patch. If you water it with 4 whole buckets, you will produce more per grow! Harvest flax with either a sicle or scythe.^^\
  5. Wheat^\
  6. Wheat is grown in large fields, and is used for the highest quality bread products avaliable. Wheat grows fairly fast in large fields marked with wheat sheaf signs, and is sown with 4 clumps of seeds. To better your harvest, 4 water buckets should do the job. After harvesting with a scicle of scythe, be sure to grind down your wheat into flour somehow. Grinding wheels are decent at this task, but windmills are much faster if you can find one! Flour can be stockpiled for long term storage, giving it further usefulness.^^\
  7. Rye^\
  8. Rye is one of the fastest growing food crops that makes barely edible food. Still though, it can be used to make bitter stouts and black breads that only break a few teeth when biting into. Rye needs 4 clumps of seeds to grow, and grows in large fields marked by signs with black stout mugs on them. Rye grows a lot better with 2 buckets of water! It looks like grass, so harvest with a scythe or scicle.^^\
  9. Barley^\
  10. If you are wanting to make some good ale, barely is what you need. Barley grows in large fields marked with white ale mug signs, and needs 4 clumps of light colored seeds. Barley is bets harvested with a scythe or scicle, and grows best with 6 water buckets.^^\
  11. Cabbages^\
  12. Cabbages are a staple of those in towns who have only small spaces for gardens. Cabbages are not pleasent to eat on their own, but are required ingredients for much better foodstuffs. Sow your cabbage patch with 4 clumps of seeds, and water 6 times for best results. Be sure to harvest by using a knife to cut the heads from their stems.^\
  13. Squash^\
  14. Squash is good for soup. Throw 4 clumps of squash seeds into a field marked with a squash sign. Water 4 times, and you will have squash in no time!^^\
  15. Pumpkins^\
  16. Who wants pumpkin pie? Throw 4 clumps of pumpkin seeds into a field marked with a pumpkin sign. Water 10 times. Harvest with a knife. Pumpkins take a long time to grow, so be patient!^^\
  17. Carrots^\
  18. Carrots are typically grown in small planter boxes. Be sure to keep a spade or shovel to harvest, as carrots are hard to pull out without them. After sowing your box with 4 seeds, water 2 times, and wait. Carrots are used as ingredients in various yokel foods.^^\
  19. Onions^\
  20. Don't cry! Plant onions with 4 seeds in a box marked with an onion sign. Water 6 times, and harvest with a shovel or spade when ready.^^\
  21. Garlic^\
  22. Don't fear! Plant garlic with 4 seeds in a garlic box with a garlic sign. Water 4 times, and harvest with a shovel or spade when ready.^^\
  23. Potatoes^\
  24. A few crazy people are known to eat nothing but baked potatoes, not sure why. To grow these magical fruits, throw 4 potato eyes into a patch marked with a lumpy rock-like potatoe, and water once. Harvest by digging out the roots with a shovel or spade.^^\
  25. Grapes^\
  26. Grapes are grape (see what I did there) for wine. Prune your grape vines with a knife, and wait for the grapes to grow. After harvesting them, use a fruit press to make must, then press the must to make wine.^^\
  27. Tomatoes^\
  28. To grow tomatoe bushes, prune them with a knife, then harvest them after they grow fully. Fun fact: you can throw tomatoes, along with several other food products listed here!^^\
