  1. Noemie: <i> The she wolf would listen off to the distance to hear a guitar and a man singing. She couldn't help but start smiling brightly. It had been a while since she had heard good singing from someone. Though looking over to Alyissa with now a smirk and knew that look on her gaze. Oh yes, she was thinking of imprinting or wishing to. One of the two. Waving to them all as she turned on her heels, but had looked at Stephen. "Make sure she doesn't strain herself please." Half way teasing but serious while snickering at them. Heading towards the door, but before she had left the establishment she heard Jacques basically bluntly asking if Stephen would help find shelter the rest of the pack. Snickering once more and had snaked her way out of the establishment. Taking a breath and had grabbed the back on her way out. Placing it over her shoulder, and began walking. Not really having a destination but started humming to herself. After a few minutes she began to sing out loud. "Picture perfect memories, scattered all around the floor. Reaching for the phone 'cause, I can't fight it anymore, and I wonder if I ever cross your mind. For me it happens all the time!~ It's a quarter after one, I'm all alone and I need you now. Said I wouldn't call but I lost all control and I need you now. And I don't know how I can do without, I just need you noooooooow~" Having a little twang in her own voice but it was light. Not really singing it for anyone, it was really the first song that came to mind. It was one that she had sang a lot while traveling. Passing the male on the truck with her eyes closed, just letting her feet guide her. Even though she wanted to stop, her feet kept carrying her. Not wishing to intrude on the male even though he seemed off to a degree. Not lonely but didn't really wish to socialize with other crowds.

  3. Colt: After the first verse, he crooned into more of a hum, having not figured out the rest of the lyrics yet and his brow dipped into a small frown. His fingers slid over the strings and palm came to rest and cut off the sound before eyes rolled skyward and he observed the play of darkness, the slight twinkle of stars above before lips parted and words flowed a little more easily, his rich timbre likely to carry down the street. He wasn't playing for an audience however, merely himself and wile away the time. It had been a busy day and he'd gotten through most of his work fairly quickly and he'd had a hankering for a hot dog. Hence the rolled up napkin behind him. An open can of soda rested upon the open tail gate and he paused in his song to take a long swallow of the slightly warm beverage before placing it back down. Fingers returned and plucked every one of the strings to flick outward before keen senses picked up a voice. A singing one at that. Not realizing that it came from Ryan's Pub but he caught the words as the voice drew nearer and got louder. Without thinking and as she passed by his truck, he took up the tune on his guitar, smooth and easy and his voice cut into the second verse. "Another shot of whiskey, can't stop looking at the door. Wishin' you'd come sweepin; in the way you did before. And I wonder if...I...ever...cross your mind. For me, it happens all the tiiiiime..." Rich timbre and twanged southern lilt to his voice, lips curving into a crooked smirk as he followed her path past his truck with bright emeralds.
  4.
  5. Noemie: Hearing the guitar pick up the tune and heard that same voice go into the second verse, the she wolf had stopped dead in her tracks. Opening her gaze and turned her head over to the male on his truck bed. Smelling the hot dog and the napkin in the bed, but not really minding it all that much. Carrying her feet towards him with a smile curled upon her figure. Amused he knew the song as well. "And I wonder if...I...ever...cross your mind. For me, it happens all the tiiiiime..." Fixing her tune to match in harmony with his. Leaning on the side of the vehicle, letting her copper irises look up at his bright emerald ones. Going onto the changed chorus after the second verse. Being slightly louder so they could sing together. "It's a quarter after one, I'm a little drunk and I need you now. Said I wouldn't call, but I lost all control and I need you now; and I don't know how I can do without.....I just need you noooooow~" Stopping after the verse was finished and her own smile turned into a smirk.
  6.
  7. Colt: He didn't expect her to stop, simply doing what he did best, which was play into whatever song he heard, or that of an audience if he had one. He continued with the chorus, voice changing an octave to round it out, just as she added her voice to it, somewhat higher than his own. "It's a quarter after one, I'm a lil' drunk, and I need you now. Said I wouldn't call but I lost all control and I need you now. And I don't know how I can do without...I just need you now..." He finished it out and then let the echo of his last strum filter the air. Matching her grin, he reached for his soda and lifted it up, sending a wink toward her as she leaned against the side of the truck. Colt shifted so that he was facing her a little more. "Nice voice ya got there, luv.." Pausing long enough to take a swig of the warm soda and returning it to his side. "And good taste in music, I see.." Moving one hand to hold the guitar against him, he leaned over and extended his free hand for her to shake if she so chose to. "Colt...Colt Raines.." He said, introducing himself.
  8.
  9. Noemie: When she heard Jacques speak with the telepathy to the pack, she nodded in reality and replied back with the same telepathy; "Sounds good, Jac. Be careful, alright? Oh I'll also sew your ear back on when you get back." Catching his wink at her, her smirk grew a bit. Tilting her head a little but had straightened it after listening to him. "As do you. Surprised you don't have a crowd of girls with that voice." Teasing a little and giggled a little. Once he offered to shake her hand after he introduced himself, the she wolf brought up her right hand up to link it in his for a firm hand shake. "Noémie Forest. It's nice to meet you, Colt." Getting almost an electric shock from the touch of him, the lady had quickly drew her hand back shortly after. Shaking her head thinking it was just static electricity. The wolve's heart raced for a moment as she looked up at him. "Sorry about that. Not sure what happened. Felt like static electricity for a sec." Trying to laugh it off and leaned fully against the truck. Cautiously not intruding his space, and was about to walk off but there was a part of her that didn't want to leave. Alas, though, the she wolf pulled back and shifted her weight to the balls of her feet. "I didn't mean to interrupt your, you time. I'll get going." Noemie shyly spoke.
  10.
  11. Colt: A brow lofted at her comment about him having a crowd of girls and his smile slanted wider, crooked and bringing out the boyish features of his face. "Nah...most see the state of ol' Lucy here and realize I'm not made of money so skedaddle.." He said with a gesture toward the truck he was sitting on. Shaking her hand firmly once, he had little time to do more than that before she took her hand back and he let his come to rest against the top of the guitar, using it as an armrest, keenly aware of her increased heart rate. "Nice to meet you too, Noemie.." he replied, glancing to his fingers and then hers as she mentioned static electricity. Giving off a shrug, he answered. "Ah, must be the metal of the truck..I think..I dunno how that shit works.." When she apologized, Colt raised his hand and waved it, shaking his head. "Nah, you're good. I didn't feel like being in a crowd tonight, hence why I'm out here instead. But company isn't so bad..." he added, letting fingers toy with the strings of the instrument, before he snapped digits and leaned far back, one leg raising as he stretched and issued a grunt as he did so. The cooler was his destination, resting there in the corner of the truck bed and he flipped open the lid and produced a can of soda. Cola to be exact and wriggled it slightly before her. "Care for a drink? Sorry, I don't have anything stronger.." he said with a grin.
  12.
  13. Noemie: Listening to his words then pricked his digits over the strings again, the she wolves irises softened. That sound, it always calmed her down. Turning her head as he shook his head and rose his other hand waving it that he didn't mind company. Half way shifting her frame to look at him, and saw the soda wiggling it slightly; the women's smiled returned. "I don't mind Cola. I've had two glasses of whiskey anyways. Don't need any more booze." Seeing that grin of his, caused her to partially prowl back to him. Lifting her frame up to sit on the edge of the truck bed, keeping a little distance between the two of them. "Well, Lucy is beautiful anyways to me. What year and model is she?" Growing curious since she enjoyed vintage cars. Popping open the can and took a quick swig, with a delighted sigh. Man, it had been a while since she had a damn good soda with someone. Honestly, the women hadn't star gazed since she was a child. Guess it was no better time. Placing the can beside her, carefully, and looked up at all the stars above. Still listening to him while they talked.
  14.
  15. Colt: A sharp whiff brought the information that she was indeed wolf but Colt didn't comment on it. He never did when he met new people and scented what they were. A glance was aimed at her when she mentioned the whiskey she had, half a smile still tugging the corners of his mouth and he scooted his backside along further to allow room for her to sit. Lucy had plenty of space for two after all. The creak of weight as he shifted and he leaned lightly against the guitar still propped on his lap, his soda lifted to take a drink. His gaze softened some at the mention of Lucy and he reached out to slid a palm over the side of the truck with clear affection for the vehicle. "Chevy, '87. She does me good and still kickin'.." he pointed out, though some spots of rust were clearly evident, and not to mention the mismatched colored panels. Choosing to put the instrument aside for now, he lay it out carefully behind him and then raised a leg, boot coming to rest against the open tail gate and leaning on the side panel of the truck. "I've heard plenty of people say I need to upgrade and they're surprised she's still goin'...but hell, she's a trooper.." he finished with a wide grin, another drink of his soda that was nearly gone. Tipping the soda can toward her, he continued. "Local around these parts?" Honestly, he hadn't met that many people since he got there himself, Colt was generally one to keep to himself.
  16.
  17. Noemie: When he mentioned she was an 87' Chevy, she couldn't help but grin. "Damn good car. Wouldn't give her up for anything if it were me. Don't wish to upgrade, would have had her or him in my case for way too long." Giggling and shook her head. Took note in the rust and mismatched colored panels. The old girl has some character, thats for sure. Swigging her soda as well and capped it off, before letting out a decent burp. Shrugging it off and looked back at him. "Hell no. As much as I love New Orleans, too many loonies for my taste. People wanting screwdrivers that taste honestly like shit either that or too many guys or girls wanting to sex up everyone. Sorry if I wanted that, I would have joined the hooker club down in Flordia." She began. "Though for now, I'm staying. Got no other place to be. Have no home." Shifting her gaze to the night sky above and sighed. "What about you?" Knowing he was a wolf as well but never said anything. Resting her hands back on each side of her, behind her frame and took in the nightly air. Faintly her cinnamon pine natural musk lingering around her form.
  18.
  19. Colt: He returned the grin and patted ol' Lucy against the side panel, a small laugh escaping. Light lines crinkled at the corners of his eyes as he took another drink of his soda. "Not plannin' on upgradin'...Besides, it's too costly and I ain't that rich.." he added. The truck wasn't only his mode of transportation, she was also his home. His bed, ragged blanket crumpled up in the back of the truck behind the cooler. A brow raised some at the mention of loonies that milled about, and he took a moment to glance out at the quiet street. Seemed most people had wandered on their way, then again it was getting late. His question was fired back at him, and he cast a glance toward her with those emeralds before he leaned further back, palm coming to rest behind him and his gaze then flickering toward the sky, and the star lit darkness. "Nah, not from around here but I have been here before. Long time ago...It's changed a lot since then..And yeah, I can relate a little. I travel around, never sit still really. How else is one to see the world if you stay in one place, right?" Obviously one wouldn't.
  20.
  21. Noemie: She nodded at his question and smirked. "Right." Simply answering. Feeling as his eyes looking at her caused a shiver going up her spine. Closing her eyes for a moment and sighed. "Though after awhile, traveling alone can get boring and rather lonely." Opening her irises and looked back up at the stars. "At least you got Lucy to keep you company." Noemie teased. Bringing her frame off the bed of the truck and stretched her frame out by bringing her arms over her head. A small grunt and groan came from relaxing her body. Letting her arms fall to her sides again, and looked out at the empty street. Still having her bag on her side, that had herbs and extra clothes. That was about it. All she needed, least for now.
  22.
  23. Colt: Her comment caused him to shrug a little, without taking his eyes from the dotted inky darkness above. Every so often a brighter spark from one of the stars caught his attention while he took time to answer. "Yeah, I guess that happens sometimes. I usually find something to keep me occupied when times like that set in.." he replied, then rolled his head to the side when the weight of the truck shifted with her departure from it. Emeralds observed for an extended moment, flickering over the bag she had with her and then shot her a wide grin. "It's getting late so I best be getting on my way. Early day tomorrow and all...Or this morning.." Chuckling aloud, he waved a hand and easily vaulted from the bed of the truck, moving along and taking the guitar up and placing it within the cab. "It was a pleasure, Noemie.." he said, shooting her a wink and then yanking open the door with a creak and hopped in. Window was rolled down and a tanned forearm draped out, poking his head out as he turned the ignition and let the truck rumble to life. After a moment of splutter and a slight cloud of smoke from the tail pipe. "Be seein' ya..." he finished in parting and tapped two fingers to his temple in a salute before putting the drink into gear and rolling off down the street.
  24.
  25. Noemie: Seeing his grin, as she turned around to see he had shifted to the front seat of his truck. Moving to where she could actually see him in the beginning half of the truck and saluted him too in return. "Hope to see you around again, Colt." Giving him a gentle smile and caught the wink he gave her. Waving back to him and nodded a little. "See ya later, alligator." Winking back at him as she shifted her feet to go more into the forest to find a tree to sleep in. Even though it wasn't the comfiest thing in the world, it was still a place. It was either that or sleep in her wolf form and chance scaring the hell out of someone that past by. Honestly it wasn't worth the bullshit that came with it. After a little while, she found one that the she wolf would climb to sleep in. A few moments went by, getting situated and fell asleep.
