Tips and Tricks


0. Do not try to do a face to face fight with bosses unless you have a proper defensive build, the bosses do not flinch until their stamina is broken. The better idea is to dodge their attacks until they do a move that leaves them open, to which you can attack them then retreat, repeat this until their stamina is broken in which case they flinch and you can begin comboing them, this isn't a button masher, staying in place will get you killed


1. Running into random npcs can cause them to drop their wallet, you can then pick it up for free silver


2. There is a wanted system in the game, you can beat up civilians and get the attention of the robots,Judgement and even Anti Skill(they'll get you eventually)

3. Characters can be unlocked by either events, collecting USBs or playing the pachinko machine

4. You can exchange rainbow Gekota for gold Gekota which you use to roll,
however its much better to buy the Gekota bags as they will always give you a profit meaning extra coins

5. Ranking for missions are  SSS = 9k-10k SS = 8k-9k S =7k-8k A = 6k-7k B= <6K, However for anything above A you need to play the missions on higher difficulties which you unlock by playing the previous one(e.g standard-hard-harder-hardest)

6. The power value you use to play the main story with recharges by 1 every 6 minutes, you can also refill it by using 50 gekota coins. Unless you're rushing through the story its generally a much better idea to come back later

7. Support card connections work as expected(e.g Frenda and Mugino has a single connection that only they have) which buff the cards, HOWEVER for certain cards to connect you require all members of that connection(e.g GROUP or ITEM buff does not apply unless you have all members in the connection) (https://imgur.com/a/ewWif)

8. Touma's 2nd superskill, Dragon Fist(the attack used on Izzard) can one shot enemies for a 5% chance under a certain amount of health, for bosses this usually mean around the end of the second health bar to the last health bar.

9. To properly use Stiyl you must place down cards, they buff his attacks and allow him to use innocentius, to place down cards you can use the heavy combos or finish your light combo

10. Mikoto's character gimmick is that she can become supercharged passively, once she starts getting all sparky you'll become both faster and do more damage, this adds a level of complexity for her as you won't be doing your best until this starts

11. Transforming characters such as Kazakiri,Index and Misha can transform once their transformation bar(under their icon) is filled, it is a limited transformation but it gives you access to different attacks and movesets that dish out serious damage, how the bar fills depends on the character.

12. Mugino's gimmick is that she can use body crystal to increase her damage, however after a certain amount of time this overloads her and she becomes weakened instead!

13. Tsuchi's gimmick is auto-revive, how much the bar under his icon is filled means how much the auto revive skill can heal him for

14. Oriana's gimmick is to place down traps, this uses her bar under the icon, once you have no more meter you cannot place anymore traps.

15. To properly negate attacks as Touma, you need to attack at the same time as your opponent, Imagine Breaker(superskill) has a higher "hitbox" for this

16. Collecting 10 usbs of a character you already own increases their stats by a large margin, you can also give them any usbs you have for a smaller stat(it doesn't matter if you do 10 at once or not, so long as you eventually reach 100%) (https://imgur.com/a/UqYH4)

17. At level 31 or so, you can unlock character items that buff your character, to upgrade/purchase them you need magician coins(for magic characters) and AIM cores(for science characters) which you can get from certain gamemodes  (https://imgur.com/a/j2FjI)

18. You can hold down the attack button at any moment to do the last attack you did continuously for the cost of meter, it can be useful for breaking stamina

19. Characters can do magic damage or science damage(depending on the character) enemies can have higher defense or weakness towards that kind of damage, you can see if you're doing special damage when the damage numbers have a magic symbol or a equation next to them

20. You can jump over objects and obstacles so long as your jump has enough height to reach the other side, this is especially useful for more mobile characters so you can run away easily

21. You can break items for experience, but the amount depends on your level and the item's level, it's only really worth it when its around your level or above it

22. While the event is up, you can combine pins into random various items.

23. You can get crates and the keys to open them from various missions. I recommend opening them as soon as possible and if you get a costume you don't care for you should sell it for 800 or so Gekota.

24. You can get lots of Gekota effectively for just leveling up, you get rewarded every 5 levels and you also get rewarded from the tutorials whenever you get access to a new mechanic

25. You can change your title by clicking on the character icon on the top left of your screen then clicking on the small blue button, most people display their guild

26. When you 10 rolls in the Index game, you can combine your results into one of a higher rarity, like two reds=1 gold and 4 greens=1 red
