The Missing Chao - Chapter 12

Shadow was wearing black pajamas, Silver yellow pajamas, Blaze purple pajamas with magenta edges, Floee a pink simple nightgown, and Rouge a magenta sports bra with black edges and black sweatpants.

Crimson, pale blue, purple, silver, and gray blankets were pulled out and ready to be snuggled with. They then covered the bodies of the Mobians, temporally nocturnal.

"Good ni- I mean day," Floee embraced Silver.

"Sleep okay," Blaze carried on the rhyme as she kissed Shadow on the cheek.

"Don't let the fleas prey," Shadow bellowed.

Soon, silence flooded the cavern.

Meanwhile in Emerald Coast... "Hey, we made a raft!" Sonic yelled.

In front of Team Ring were tons of logs tied up with rope.

"I think we need to increase the size," Knuckles commented on the creation. "How can this lil' raft give space for 5 animals?"

"More logs, then?" Cream proposed her idea.

"That might work."

Amy, with her bathing suit clinging onto her pelt like a sticker, hammered several trees down with her might Piko Piko hammer. Knuckles punched and chopped them into a couple of bumpy logs. Tails finally untied the rope, merged the logs with the tiny raft, and strapped the blistering rope back again.

"This will store us all, we need a sail," Sonic criticized it. "Does anyone have a branch and sheet?"

"I do!" Cream held up what he requested.

"Great! All we need to do is strap that branch onto the makeshift raft and tie the blanket onto the stick."

"I have one question," Amy squealed. "How are you gonna attach that branch onto the raft?"

"Duct tape!" Tails tugged a roll of silver (lol) duct tape out of his sack. He took the branch, taped some duct tape onto it, and stuck the branch onto the wooden raft.

"There!"

"I think we should take off our swimsuits," Cream suggested. "We're not going back into the water, are we?"

"Fine decision," Sonic nodded. Team Ring headed back into the trees and changed back into their trademark appearances.

"Everyone on the boat, now," Sonic commanded as if he was the charge of the vary. He, Tails, Knuckles, Amy, Cream, and Forest gathered up all of their belongings and boarded onto the raft. The blue boar hopped back onto the sand, gave the raft a gentle push, and quickly stepped back onto the water craft.

The raft drifted slowly like a leaf away from good old Emerald Coast. Everyone could sadly sight the snake of land sluggishly shrinking into a very skinny noodle.

"Farewell, Mysteria," Amy moaned.

The only thing they could eye around the lonely raft is the mighty Pacific Ocean. Endless waters churned like butter and flowed in all directions like a noisy crowd.

"At least we're together," Cream sighed. "I hate to be alone."

"The Pacific Ocean is 9,600 miles across," Tails exclaimed. "If Sonic can travel up to 800 MPH, we can get to Chan-nan in less than a day."

"Well said," Sonic gobbled up an energy bear, leaped off the craft, and pushed it while blazing across the sea. "Y'all better hold tight!"

"Wwwwwwwwwwwwwwhhhhhhhhhhhhhhoooooooooooooaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!!" Cream grasped onto the edge. "This is sooooooooooooo amazing!"

"I'm feeling so seasick!" Knuckles gasped excessively. "You better slow down."

"I don't want to," Sonic responded. "I just want to reach out destination as soon as possible. Speed is the key!"

"What if you run out of energy, Mr. Sonic?" Cream wondered.

"I'll just get back onto the boat and take a sweet nap."

"What if we enter a storm?"

"I'll steer clear and make sure we pass all of those lightning and horror."

"Oh, Mr. Speed, you make everything so safe."

"Of course, it's my job."

"Hey, Cream!" Amy growled like a panther. "You know you're too young for a 15 year old!"
