  1. “Can’t quite remember what happened to us actually. What do you think happened? What are we?”
  2.
  3. “Everything happened. And they did not like it.”
  4.
  5. “You’re makin’ no sense Cari.”
  6.
  7. “It does not make sense. We were once one. I was not Cari at the time. But when we were one... We saw those shelled tongs clamping upon us from the murmuring dark that gibbered incessantly among the biting marble rocks.”
  8.
  9. “Mhm, yes. But could you pah-LEASE be logical here? We do not have time to listen to idle chit chat. Chop chop. Less riddles you nutcase!”
  10.
  11. “Now now, that isn’t how you treat Cari, Boo.”
  12.
  13. “Or any of us!”
  14.
  15. “If it is too tied then the knot shall be loosened. What I say is not something that any can tangibly see. What we see is simply seen. What our eyes try to see is not something describable without many different letters to grasp upon just what we perceive. When our eyes see, we see. Yet when our eyes see something that is not able to be seen, we still see, even if it is Nothing at all.”
  16.
  17. “Y-you’re making little sense Cari...c-can you please be less cryptic still? Maybe I can draw it…”
  18.
  19. “Ain’t no drawin’ nothin’ from this mushmouth’s piehole.”
  20.
  21. “Buck, what’d I just say about treating us!”
  22.
  23. “Images are what we see when one draws. If we were to draw what happened, we would see that which is there for as long as our eyes lay upon it. Yet one look away and it would be gone.”
  24.
  25. “Keep trying, Cari, I have faith in you!”
  26.
  27. “Indescribable. A mass of roiling, undulating and clear substances that is between the state of solid and air. That is how one describes water. We use words to tell what we see. Yet, what do we see when words do not describe what is there? Our eyes can still see. We still perceive what is there, so we say what is there. I say what I know, what I saw happen to use. I know how we are, who we are.”
  28.
  29. “Yet, we don’t.”
  30.
  31. “Allow me to translate, friends. What deer Cari is trying to say is that the mind simply cannot grasp or truly describe what is there without using familiar words to understand it. The more we try to grasp what it is, the more confused we become. The less we try to comprehend, the more we understand. What we see is simply what our minds allow us to see and perceive. Because the human brain does that. That is how we function. We always assign images and traits with something. Yet, if something remains void of everything -- even the emptiness of space itself, we will still perceive things as there simply because it is impossible for our minds to comprehend the concept of Nothing. We simply cannot, will not, be capable of seeing a nonexistence. Nonexistence is unable to exist to us.”
  32.
  33. “Nerd.”
  34.
  35. “Boo, quit it.”
  36.
  37. “What the young mouth says is true. What we say may be seen as jumbled letters rolling off the tongue of angered men. But I know who we are. What we are is not one, but all. There are many bubbles flowing within the water. We just happen to be the greatest pockets of all...and yet, even though we are many, we call ourselves one.”
  38.
  39.
  40. “We call ourselves Sonny.”
