- Tsaaq: Remy kept his hands in his jacket as he looked back at Cadence, going towards the receptionist and signing in rather huffily. Remy slammed the pen down before going towards the stairs unapologetically. He only paused to wait for Cadence again. // Hayley was in her room, laying on her side in a little balll as she stared at the wall.
- Covet: -Cadence watched him then looked at the receptionist- We'd actually like to speak with one of the doctors on staff tonight, If that's possible. We intend to visit with Hayley as well, but Doctor first. -She said trying to clear her throat, so that it was clearer.-
- Tsaaq: "Come on." He said hurriedly as he leaned against the banister. // The receptionist furrowed her eyebrows and picked up her phone, looking surprised and suspicious at the same time as she spoke quietly into the reciever.
- Covet: -Cadence looked at Remy, then back at the Receptionist.- Can you have the doctor meet us in Hayley's room? -She more demanded than asked, as she walked over to where Remy was at- What's the rush?
- Tsaaq: He shrugged as he moved up the stairs, quickly walking down the hallway towards his room. "Cause I'm mad and if too many people are around I'm gonna start a scene." He replied. // She nodded and hung up the phone wide eyed. // Doctor Epstien made her way out of her office towards Hayley room, waiting outside of the door and giving a lazy wave once she spotted Remy and Cadence down the hallway.
- Covet: -Cadence followed him and nodded- We'll get it figured out. Don't worry. -She said resting her hand on his shoulder. She saw the doctor give them a wave, and tried to clear her throat again, nudging Remy- Doctor alert. Are we doing this in front of Hayley too? -she asked him-
- Tsaaq: "No, this is fine." He said, waving his hand at Cadence then practically storming over. "Hey so, whats up, I'm Hayley's legal gaurdian and I'm not satisfied with her treatment thus far. So what the fuck is up?" // Doctor Epstien pursed her lips as she shoved her hands in the pockets of her slacks. "Good evening-" She began to say softly before staring with appall. "Well... We've barely scraped the surface of her treatment, we're trying."
- Covet: -Cadence crossed her arms- You're trying, or your just treating her symptoms? Cause it really seems like option number two. What's the point of doping her up to the point of non-function...how's that going to help her? I don't want to sound like an ass, but it just seems like it's going to help you...financially. -She said in her awful squeaky voice.-
- Tsaaq: Remy shook his head, looking as if he was trying to outline all of the savage things he was planning on responding with. "Let me see what you guys write down in her charts!" Remy blurted out. // She furrowed her eyebrows as she looked between the two of them. "I apologize if it seems like we're not helping. But she isn't involved during group therapy, her expression is scarce in one on one sessions. This is an acceptable approach. At least this way she's not attempting to harm herself or anyone else." // Remy pointed his finger angrily at Dr. Epstien. "Ha! You're wrong." He pulled his hand from his jacket pocket. "Look at all of these fucking side effects found from googling anti-depressants and sleep medication. You could potentially kill her. DEATH. Side effects include increase risk of suicide and depression!" Remy shouted, reading from the paper.
- Covet: But you're still treating the symptoms....not what's causing the symptoms. I realize she's not opening up, but medicating her to the state she's in now, is also not the answer. We wanted to talk to you about...some possible alternatives...that might actually work...and get her to open up. We just don't see the point of giving her such strong doses of this shit, if it's going to leave her catatonic. I'm paying you guys to help her, not medicate her. -Cadence said, trying to explain-
- Tsaaq: "What she said, god damn it." Remy shouted before crossing his arms. // Dr. Epstien kept her lips pursed as she looked between Remy and Cadence. "I'm sorry, do you both have degrees in psychology that I wasn't aware of?" She asked condescendingly instead of providing a real answer.
- Covet: No, we don't... but I've take a few classes...and am quite the head case myself... That's not the answer someone confident in their job would give either. I've been here before, and gotten good help, that was actually benefitial, that's why I'm having a real hard time seeing what's going on here, and trying to offer some help, to get her to work with you guys. Since you guys could care less, so long as you're getting paid. -Cadence said standing her ground.-
- Tsaaq: Remy's eyes widened as he looked at Dr. Epstien. "I'm not saying that I'm a psychology expert. I just don't want you to fry my sister's brain with drugs and I don't want you to waste her money." He retorted. // "Wow, a few classes. You must know so much more than I do." Dr. Epstien rolled her eyes. "These things honestly take time, you're trying to rush into seeing progress so you're jumping to conclusions." She sighed. "I assure you, we're not trying to just take all the money we can. We have more than enough patients here to be well off." She grumbled.
- Covet: Please don't cut us down because you have a degree. We're concerned guardians and benefactors here. I understand that they take time, nobody is disputing that. But keeping her in a practically permanent state of compliance.... Explain to me how that's helping... This is a legitimate request.
- Tsaaq: He crossed his arms over his chest while staring at her, waiting for her response. // "Not evey patient is the same. Sometimes playing the waiting game is the way to go..." Dr. Epstien replied.
- Covet: Then you clearly don't know anything about your patient. You think medicating her and keeping her here is going to make her compliant? Nobody WANTS to be here. It's cold, plain, isolated. Especially if you are living here. At least Dr Ferguson puts effort into making her office look like some place you feel comfortable in. Can we at least run our requests by you? We just want to help her. If that means she needs to stay here longer fine, that's not what we're worried about, it's the fact that neither of us like how drugged up she is at this point. -Cadence said, trying to soften her edge-
- Tsaaq: Remy inhaled deeply to conceal his rage.// Dr. Epstient put her hands up. "Listen, I have a lot of paperwork to go through right now." She sighed. "I'll talk to the tramau counselours about what or where we'll go about her treatment and hold off on the adding of anti depressants." She replied quickly, turning on her heel as if she was walking away.
- Covet: -Cadence frowned and turned her around- Excuse me...That wasn't the requests we wanted to make. We want to bring her old therapist in. She's talked with her before, and she might be more comfortable opeingin up to someone she's known for a while. As well as bringing someone in to sit with her in her sessions, so she doesn't feel alone. Is that something that we can swing, I don't care about the cost if you feel you have to charge for any of that. But Remy and I think, this would be helpful for everyone involved.
- Tsaaq: He rolled his eyes. "Fuck this." He muttered, pulling the door of Hayley's room and stepping inside because he was over it. // "It's really not a matter of cost but a matter of whether or not I feel that would be helpful in her treatment." Dr. Epstien said exaspaeratedly. "You can call me tomorrow about it. I really have to finish this paperwork." She waved Cadence off, continuing to walk away.
- Covet: -Cadence glared- It would be benefitial to her...and to all of you trying to help her. At least if you want to get anywhere and actually help her. -She snapped as she walked off- You bet your ass, I'm calling tomorrow. -she glared then turned and made her way into Hayley's room- I can't fucking believe that quack. -she said, trying to sound louder than she actually was-
- Tsaaq: Remy glanced at Cadence as the door opened. "Shhh." He shushed her, putting his finger over his lips then pointing at Hayley curled up in a ball, knocked out, in her bed. "This isn't working there has to be something else."
- Covet: -Cadence looked over and nodded- But what? a Group home?... a different facility... -she asked leaning against the wall-
- Tsaaq: "Jesus Christ. a group home? What would that even do?" He asked in a whisper. "I don't know. I really have no idea. A bad review on yelp or something..."
- Covet: -Cadence walked over to him and wrapped her arms around him, resting her head on his chest- I'm calling them tomorrow. I don't like this doctor Epstien... I don't think she actually cares about her job and what she's supposed to be doing here. We'll get her the right people that she needs... Okay. -She looked up at him giving him a supportive look-
- Tsaaq: He nodded his head and patted the top of hers. "Good idea." He sighed, leading her out the room and going down the hallway once more. "I'm sure if you talk to whoever is above her they'll switch doctors."
- Covet: -Cadence nodded and followed him out of the room, slipping her hand into his as they walked down the hall and headed to check out- I hope so. If not, We'll find somewhere else that will accomodate her properly and isn't so... This...-she sighed checking out on the sign in sheet-
