◊ PERSONALITY:
	Jingyi seems to be a pretty blank person most of the time, often sitting alone and staring off into space. He rarely appears to have any sort of emotion on his face and seems to be in a bad mood all the time, only communicating in short sentences and grunts. In reality, he is actually really awkward. He doesn't know what to say most of the time so he tends to be more quiet so he doesn't offend anyone or say something embarrassing. When he's around mostly korean people, he is always nervous and extremely cringe worthy. If he's spoken to, he'll try so hard to not be rude or seem like he doesn't know what he's doing (which he doesn't). When he's around other chinese people, he's much more aggressive and rude since he's much more comfortable. He likes to boss people around and be very blunt with his words, not really thinking about other people's feelings beforehand. He is a pretty childish person overall, often whining and acting like the youngest even though he isn't. He can be a bit cocky at times with random bursts of confidence, surprising people a lot of the time. He's a bit of a closet perv, sometimes mumbling dirty things or giggling at his own dirty jokes without telling anyone what he's actually thinking.
◊ BACKGROUND:
	Jingyi grew up a pretty plain child in a single parent family, his father leaving before he was born. Growing up, he and his sister were constantly bullied, mostly because they were too 'plain' looking and always looked like they were looking down on others. While Jin was quiet, his sister was much more vocal about her feelings and thoughts. He felt a sense of security around his sister, becoming her shadow since he followed her around so much. Things continued like this until he was around 9, his sister 14. His sister had managed to anger a rather big gang after confronting one of the members for being mean to her younger brother. Worst came to worst and she ended up dying after being beat up really badly while Jin has a broken arm, leg and nose. His family was really close when he sister was alive but things changed drastically after her death. Jin became really distant, his face stone and his heart cement. His mother took it the worst, blaming herself for what happened to her kids. It got to the point in highschool where Jin turned to drug use and underaged drinking in order to cope. He dropped out of school and vowed to not go back, instead getting tattoos and lots of piercings in order to look cool and not his plain self. It took a total of a year and a half for him to come back to reality, the truth setting in and hitting him harder than before. The only way for him to let out his feelings was through singing and dancing, things he and his sister were into before she died. He was pretty good at it but the only reason he sang with all his heart was because of how his sister would tell him he had a beautiful voice. He originally didn't want to be an idol but he decided to do it in order to help out his mother with bills and large payments, so he moved to Korea but swore he'd call and visit as much as he could. As a trainee, he felt very out of place, his korean not being the best, his background pretty bad and his appearance seemed too 'bad boyish'. Unlike what most people think, his first friend was a Korean trainee and not a Chinese one, though it began to shift as the years went on. He wasn't wildly popular but he had a much larger group of friends than he ever did, surprising him quite a bit. The only problems he had was that he couldn't sing to his best potential unless he was alone, getting nervous about his korean being too horrible. He eventually got over it and was able to show off the skills his sister knew he had.

◊ CASTED OR AUDITIONED? IF CASTED, EXPLAIN HOW: Casted; There was a something similar to a mini festival in town with booths who sold things and a talent show was being held there. A friend of his practically forced him to be in it and sing a favorite song of his sister's, as it was her birthday. He went ahead and did it, not giving his all but not slacking either. Once his song and dance was over, he was approached by a scouter(is that what they're called idk) and was asked to be an SM trainee.
