  19. - 7-hit combo : to trigger it properly (killing a 7-Energy enemy), you must :
  20. * Spam 'Attack' until getting 2 hits
  21. * Wait for ~0.5 seconds without other inputs (directions are allowed)
  22. * Hit once more, that will trigger 5 hits that will finish the combo (one of them can miss if not facing the enemy properly)

  25. Lighthouse Introduction :
  26. - First fight is divided in 4 parts :
  27. * 1 enemy (alone in the center)

  30. * 3 enemies (in the center and both sides)
  31. - TO-DO : Time the difference between between 2 3-hit combo in a row vs. 1 6-hit combo and if it's worth it on which enemy

  33. - Second fight against the Spirit Eater
  34. * Can't buffer the first Charged Attack, so wait for the camera to focus on Jade again to trigger it
  35. * After hitting him once, stay Left Click pressed to trigger another Charged Attack
  36. - TO-DO : Find a consistent way to always face him after a Charger Attack, because if not, extra movement to get a single hit

  38. - Before Interview cutscene :
  39. * Full Up to get the Pearl (no need to Left Click)
  40. * After the Alpha Section Guard cutscene, full Down to enter the elevator

  44. - To get the camera, full Down+Left until reaching the wooden edge (around 1 and a half step) & press Left Click
  45. - To photograph the 1st species (flying bug), unzoom to full

  47. - Since you're facing back to the exit of the Lighthouse, use a Roll instead of triggering a sprint
  48. - Outdoor, to photograph the 3rd species (orange armadillo), stay close to the right wall, get on the 2nd violet flower on the ground
  49. - Roll in the direction of the Workshop entrance
  50. - TO-DO : When getting very close to the robot, time if it's faster to either to :
  51. * run into it without changing direction
  52. * run trying to dodge him a little

  56. - TO-DO : time if it's faster to run or to roll to trigger the PeyJ's cutscene
  57. - Get the MDisk, and in order to not make a full turn, first run Down, then Left to reach the MDisk Reader
  58. - Scroll one down to reach "Mr de Catellac" MDisk, and spam the Left Click
  59. - After the cutscene, the camera and Jade are facing a bit left from the entrance
  60. - Reach the dock, and push the electric generator from the left side
  61. - After the cutscene, run Up then Up+Left to not trigger a turn, and reach the Hovercraft
  62.  
  63. Hillys :
  64. - Go towards the Mammago Garage
  65.  
  66. Mammago Garage :
  67. - DON'T use Left Click to dock (otherwise, when trying to exit the Garage, the Hovercraft will dock again)
  68. - Reach the Speedcraft Motor and buy it (1 Pearl)
  69. - Roll towards the exit to save a turn
  70. - Outside, stop stop just near the little palm tree on the left :
  71. * to photograph PeyJ, unzoom at full
  72. * to photograph the Rhino at the counter, unzoom to full
  73. - Reach the Hovercraft and exit the Garage (try to go closer to the left, otherwise there might be a wall bonk)
  74. - TO-DO : the Left Click seems to be buffered, so maybe there's someting to dig into

  76. Hillys :
  77. - Fight against the Teratausorus :
  78. * Being in front cam helps
  79. * Spam the shoot to get him go in the direction we're going
  80. * A good fight should finish before moving away from the Main Canal closed door
  81. - No need to get closer to the Pearl, just reach the door : the Pearl cutscene should trigger itself

  83. Main Canal :
  84. - Reach the other side as fast as possible
  85. - Note the time when you see the Hillys panel with max luminosity
  86.  
  87. Hillys :
  88. - Go in the direction of the Black Isle
  89. - To photograph the Rascax (blue fishes), add 11 seconds to the time you noted earlier, then trigger the camera (may wait ~1 second)
  90.  
  91. Black Isle Outdoor:
  92. - Trigger the front camera to avoid the bonk before docking
  93. - Instead of getting closer to the tuxedo guy, dodge the cutscene following the instructions :
  94. * Get the closest possible to the entrance of the Mine (stay on the pantoon - DON'T TRY TO JUMP YET)
  95. * Croutch and jump staying the most right possible
  96. * Enter the Mine (dat' time save)
  97. - Reach the left pressure plate, and move the camera in order to place Jade's head in front of the beginning
  98. of the other pressure plate's arrow. When 'Action' appears below PeyJ's icon, spam E
  99. - Enter the Ancient Mine
  100.  
  101. Ancient Mine Pt.1 :
  102. - Reach the furthest end of the wooden planck, perform a full turn, talk to PeyJ :
  103. * Left Click, then Right Click, both twice
  104. - Spam E after PeyJ's explanation ("... transportation of the future.") about the Jet Boots during the cutscene
  105. - After the cutscene, the camera is facing the entrance, and Jade is looking on the left (towards the lever platforms)
  106. * Run holding Left, turn the camera to face Jade's back and run holding Up
  107. * Get on the first plate
  108. * When hearing the beginning of "If ya' want another demonstration, ...", spam E to activate PeyJ's Super Action
  109. * This makes Jade jump to reach the upper platform
  110. - When hanging off the wood beam, spam Up to get on the upper platform as fast as possible
  111. - When reaching the top of the platform, hold Right while running, then Up to change direction (beware of stucked direction because
  112. of buffered inputs)
  113. - Reach the gear on the left, spam E when being close to it
  114. - After the small cutscene, turn the camera facing the opened way on the other side of which PeyJ comes, then hold Up while running
  115. - TO-DO : is a roll towards this direction faster ? (Might be some collision glitch with the vertical wood beams)
  116. - At the middle of the wooden barriers, activate the camera and photograph the Red Bulb which is in the floor
  117. * this is faster than taking the photo after activating the bulb, because PeyJ can move closer to us after the lag
  118. created by the Photograph Menu
  119. - Spam E to activate PeyJ Super Action, Attack the Red Bulb jumping off the ground, aim at the left-most explosives, and Attack again
  120. (to activate the Attack faster than waiting for the end of the small attacking slowed "cutscene")
  121. - Get closer to the burning explosives using a roll, BUT not too close (might take 1 Energy damage from the explosion)
  122. (good distance might be near the end of the glowing flowers on the ground)
  123. - Prepare your camera, and photograph the purple-blue anemone being the explosives (no need to wait for the glow to stop)
  124. - Run towards the anemone, and use a single hit staying close to the right wall
  125. * Cutscene : Left Click after the scanned Materia Crystal
  126. Right Click after Secundo's talk
  127. (if too much on the left side, then trying to hit the anemone again after the Materia cutscene can cause 1/2 Energy damage,
  128. taking damage costs around 1.5 seconds)
  129. - Hit the anemone twice more, then Run + Roll holding Left (to skip the end of the Attack animation)
  130. - Cross the newly-created bridge, take the right path : a Vorax should attack you here
  131. * wait for it to stabilize (Purple-pink mouth glowing)
  132. * trigger a 6-hit combo (see the 'Some help' section at the beginning of this paste)
  133. - Run towards the coal trolley/cart, and push it near the bottom wall from the left side
  134. - Hold Left and run to the gear on the left (spam 'Action' near it)
  135. - After using the gear, Roll towards the trolley/cart (to avoid the collision glitch with the vertical wood beams)
  136. - Hop on it and on the metallic part that just moved
  137. - To enter the next, Roll when the metallic part finishes on the ground
  138.  
  139. Secondary Shaft :
  140. - Just after the cutscene, don't move yet and photograph the 4 new species :
  141. * Green glowing Amoeba (on the middle of the path, gives the Zoom)
  142. * Green shells (being the first species, zoom a bit)
  143. * Right-wall anemone (zoom a bit)
  144. * Vorax being the green shells (zoom halway)
  145. - Skip all the enemies, and fight the Vorax only (with two 6-hit combos, one for each)
  146. - Kill all the enemies near the pressure plates :
  147. * Green glowing Amoebas only need one hit
  148. * Green shells are killed with one hit after a PeyJ Super Attack
  149. * TO-DO : can a Jade Super Attack kill all the enemies if well positioned ?
  150. - Get on the left-most pressure plate
  151. - Spam E when 'Action' appears below PeyJ icon (remember the camera MUST have the other pressure plate on sight)
  152. - Run to the other section
  153. - TO-DO : is a Roll faster ?
  154.  
  155. Ancient Mine Pt.2 :
  156. - Hold Right while running, and kick (Left Click) the left-most locker, and take the big spanner/wrench
  157. - After the cutscene, Roll towards the left grid (to avoid the collision glitch with PeyJ) and spam E when 'Action' is available
  158. - Stay on the right side of the grid, otherwise PeyJ will blame you for being on his way
  159. - Roll after the grid is opened (saves the time that Jade takes to accelerate)
  160. - Reach the left side of the dead-end, go a bit after the last blue-green algae, and make sure Jade is facing the green floor
  161. (more like a 120° turn, not just a 90°)
  162. - Photograph it (there should be no zoom to use, nor camera movement to do if perfectly executed)
  163. (if not exactly facing the green floor, move the camera a bit towards the bottom-left side)
  164. - Roll in the opposite direction to get closer to the exit of the Ancient Mine
  165. - No need to trigger the jump (done automatically), and spam Up to get on the upper platform faster
  166.  
  167. Secondary Shaft :
  168. - Camera is facing the entrance where we come from, Jade is going Right
  169. - Hold Right while running, dodge the enemies (no need to kill them), and come back to Ancient Mine Pt.1
  170.  
  171. Ancient Mine Pt.1 :
  172. - Hold Right while running, until getting close to the single wooden plank on the ground, then the camera faces Jade's back
  173. - Reach the left side (with the grid) by jumping a bit before the left yellowish hold
  174. (near the little circle on the left greenish-greyish part of the metallic bridge, saves ~0.5-0.7 seconds)
  175. - Get close to the grid, make sure it is on sight for the camera, and spam E to trigger PeyJ's action
  176. - While he is opening the grind, come back next to the left yellowish hold, and try to face the Blue Fireflies (far up right)
  177. - Photograph the Blue fireflies
  178. (best zoom is between 6th and 7th graduation, starting at 2)
  179. - Hold Down and Left for about 0.3 seconds, in order for Jade to look in the direction of the Red Bump
  180. - Use the camera, nearly full zoom and photograph the green Fly (zoom ~7-7.5)
  181. - After this photo, Roll towards PeyJ and reach the boarder on the right side
  182. - Hold Up until the camera changes direction (looking Jade from the bottom), then hold Left until not following the wall
  183. - Reach the highest point of the right-most platform (behind the metallic bridge)
  184. - Push the explosive trolley/cart 3 times closer to the Red Bump
  185. - Come on the other side (stay right) of the Red Bump, spam E to trigger PeyJ's Super Action, and aim the trolley/cart as usual
  186. - Cutscene, and 3 Vorax appear and attack PeyJ
  187. * Use 6-hit combo on each of them
  188. - After the cutscene, hold Up while running, and get on the right-most pressure plate, and spam E
  189. (as soon as PeyJ says "Let's go", stop spamming, or he can start to turn on himself)
  190. - When hanging, press ONLY ONCE Up and hold it, until hanging off the other side, the spam Left Click to Unhook
  191. - Run towards the grid, and press the button on the left wood beam to open the way to PeyJ
  192. - Move the camera so the grid is in sight, then spam E to trigger PeyJ Action
  193. - While he's opening the grid :
  194. * Get back near the platform we just jumped off
  195. * Get on the metallic box
  196. * Kick the electric generator (Left Click)
  197. * Take the camera, aim the roof and photograph the green glowing snake (no need for zoom, or unzoom usually)
  198. * Come back to the grid
  199. - Reach the next section
  200.  
  201. Main Shaft :
  202. - Run and jump off the platform and continue running (triggers a cutscene)
  203. - 2 Crabs appear, die volontarily (that skips this fight, and an incoming cutscene)
  204. - After the respawn, hold Left to not lose time of a fake jump attempt
  205. - Stop on the middle of the 1st bridge, and photograph the flying Nautilus (no zoom needed)
  206. - Continue, camera changes angle, take the camera
  207. - 5 Crabs appear, photograph one of them, then push them downhill with PeyJ Super Action + hit
  208. (don't push one of them into the double metallic bridge, otherwise time loss)
  209. - Activate the gear (Left Click), then hop on the platform you just moved
  210. - Reach the path with blue Anemonias on walls, doing :
  211. * 3 hits
  212. * Roll to save the 'lag' after finishing a 3-hit combo
  213. - Jump to reach the upper platfom, and spam Right to hop on faster
  214. - Reach the giant Anemonia on the ground, hit once, then spam E for PeyJ's Super Action
  215. - Go beyond it, then stop running right when seeing the end of the platform, while continuing holding Up
  216. (otherwise fake jump attempt)
  217. - Reach the right side of the central platform, wait for PeyJ (move the mouse to look where he comes from)
  218. - THEN trigger the camera, and photograph both 'species' at once (first or second appearance, be careful)
  219. * Left Click => sends to Mr de Castellac
  220. * Left Click => publish it
  221. * Right Click => exits menu
  222. - Boss starting cutscene
  223.  
  224. Boss : Its death is related to two counters : a hit one and and phase one
  225. * Needs at least 7 phases
  226. * Needs at least 14 overall hits
  227. * Needs at least 3 hits during last phase
  228. - PHASE 1 / Boss appears, spam E to trigger PeyJ's Super Action
  229. - Right after triggering E :
  230. * Photograph the Boss
  231. * Dodge his shot using a Roll
  232. * Get closer to him, but not too much if it's still spinning (because you'd take damage)
  233. * When PeyJ's Super Action is finished, hit the Boss three times
  234. - PHASE 2 / Boss disappears in a hole, go next to the right-most hole (Jellies should come out from it)
  235. * Charge a Jade Super Attack and release it when around 4 jellies touch the ground (all or nearly should die)
  236. * During this phase, the boss comes from the same hole and reaches another one
  237. - PHASE 3 / Same as phase 1, trigger PeyJ Super Action then hit the boss 3 times
  238. - PHASE 4 / 3 Vorax appear : trigger 3 7-hit combos on them
  239. - PHASE 5 / Boss will come out of a hole, fly above your head and try to hit you with a continuous fire breath
  240. * Just dodge it
  241. * You can hit it during both its ascending and descending movement
  242. - PHASE 6 / Same as phase 1 and 3
  243. - PHASE 7 / Same as phase 5, hit it with a 3-shot combo during ascending movement, and the job is done
  244. * If it still uses its fire breath, then hit at least once again during descending movement
  245.  
  246. - Cutscene, a Pearl appears. Hold Up while running and take it
  247. - Long cutscene, that brings you back to Black Isle outdoor pantoon
  248.  
  249. Black Isle Outdoor :
  250. - Wait for the Credit transaction to appear
  251. - Right Click to skip it
  252. - Trigger the camera and photograph the gulls
  253. - Roll to dodge PeyJ, and reach the Hovercraft to exit the Black Isle
  254. - TO-DO : Maybe Roll between the end of the cutscene and the Credit transaction
  255.  
  256. Hillys :
  257. - Reach the Main Canal
  258.  
  259. Main Canal :
  260. - Reach the Pedestrian District
  261.  
  262. Pedestrian District :
  263. - While the little cutscene that shows the Pedestrian District landscape occurs, hold Right while running
  264. - Reach the Akuda Bar (entrance -> right-> front -> left uphill -> right -> right uphill -> Akuda Bar)
  265.  
  266. Akuda Bar :
  267. - Walk a bit closer to the bartender
  268. - Photograph him (Cow, no zoom needed)
  269. - Roll left then stop near the right table, left to the left-most stoll
  270. - Photograph the Shark in blue outfit that's sitting here (no zoom needed)
  271. - Get a bit closer to the Shark, and lurk the Code which is on the ticket on its table (remember it)
  272. - Reach 2F, and open the middle door (room °2) with the Code you just lurked
  273. - Run in the room, kick the locker and take the Pearl
  274. - Roll outside of the room, take the left path and talk to Peepers (ball game)
  275. * Left Click x10 (or wait for a bigger menu than the 1st one to appear)
  276. * Down (password for Peepers) + Left Click spam until the game begins
  277. * Just remember under which bowl the ball stands and chose it with the directional inputs + Left Click
  278. - Remember the Code and enter room °3 with this very code
  279. - Roll in the direction of the wardrobe on the left side of the room, stop running when the Roll is finished (keep walking)
  280. - Put your back next to the end of the wardrobe then Left Click to trigger it
  281. - Run downhill, then cutscene
  282. - Right Click after getting the City Pass
  283. - Trigger the camera and photograph Meï (no zoom needed, just turning the camera)
  284. - Run and exit the IRIS hideout
  285. - Run holding left and exit the room
  286. - Exit the Akuda Bar
  287.  
  288. Pedestrian District :
  289. - Run holding down and stop after going downhill once
  290. - Photograph the newspaper seller (small zoom needed)
  291. - Exit the Pedestrian District

  293. Main Canal :
  294. - Keep front view because of the quick incoming cutscene
  295. - Start turning left

  297. - Get back to front view and exit the Main Canal to reach Mammago Garage

  300. - Buy the Neutralizing Cannon (5 Pearls)
  301. - Exit the garage

  303. Hyllis :
  304. - Cutscene + DomZ Attack
  305. - During the attack, reach the Nutripils Factory entrance bypassing the Main Canal and killing the 3 drones :
  306. * 1st : after the 1st arch
  307. * 2nd : appearing when close of the Alpha Section Und. Quarters entrance
  308. * 3rd : behind the Factory entrance
  309. - Wait for the attack to end, then enter the Factory
  310.  
  311. Nutripils Factory :
  312. - Dock, and jump up to the platform where is the locked door
  313. - Photograph the Red Code
  314. - Check your e-mails and enter the code to unlock the door
  315.  
  316. Elevator Room :
  317. - Reach the grid
  318. - Spam E to ask PeyJ to open it
  319. - During this, photograph one of the rats
  320. - Spam Left Click to kick the grid when PeyJ is working
  321. - Cutscene
  322. - Roll towards the right
  323. - Dodge the red lasers, then activate the switch on the left wall
  324. - Come back closer to PeyJ
  325. - Reach the furthest side of the box and push it in the trench
  326. - Push the box closer to the electric fence
  327. - Left Click to jump on the box, and reach the central room
  328. - Cutscene
  329. - Run towards the furthest left-most door (open with the button)
  330.  
  331. West Wing :
  332. - Run towards the left and activate the button (stay near the elevator)
  333. - When the elevator open, a fight against mechanical spiders :
  334. * perform a Charged Attack, then get outside of it and get closer to the opposite door
  335. * hit once each spider that jumps on you
  336. - Cutscene
  337. - Get in the elevator while spamming E to ask PeyJ to activate it
  338. - Once 2F reached, spam Roll and run closer to the small room
  339. - Small cutscene
  340. - Reach the small room - a security tower fells off the ceiling
  341. * Get around it and hit it to push it in the electrical fence
  342. * Roll closer to the door when it explodes (dan't stay too close, or damage)
  343. - Double H discovery cutscene
  344. - Photograph Double-H
  345. - Photograph the locker on the right side of the room
  346. - Check your emails, and enter the code
  347. - Take the MDisk Launcher
  348. - Activate the camera, turn, and shoot the Spirit Eater 3 times
  349. - Cutscene
  350. - Get closer to where Double H was tortured, take the Pearl
  351. - Before the Pearl menu appears, turn the game camera towards the grid and spam E
  352. - Double H cutscene
  353. - Reach the way just opened
  354. - Follow the wall, and reach the left part (jump = spam Left)
  355.  
  356. Elevator Room :
  357. - Run right , activate the camera before jumping to the central platform and aim for the little cable that maintains the electric one
  358. - Continue running and reach the central platform
  359. - Little cutscene of the electric cable
  360. - Roll towards the center
  361. - Boss cutscene
  362.  
  363. Boss / Spirit Reaper :
  364. PATTERN : * Once aim on the ground, the Reaper will jump on one of the upper platforms and shoot green projectiles to you
  365. * When hit by an MDisk, he will jump on you (need to be dodged) and will try to shoot at you
  366. * If hit by an MDisk on the lower platform, he will protect => hit it hand-to-hand
  367. * Once hit in 4 phases, it will jump on you, no need to dodge it, just hit it hand-to-hand to finish it
  368. STRAT : When hit once being on the lower/main platform, throw an Mdisk to him.
  369. Then, when it's about to jump on one of the upper platforms, throw another MDisk at it
  370. Always wait for it to start jumping, then run and follow it
  371. Its different locations should be spaced by a quarter of a circle, clockwise
  372. The point is to combo this pattern 4 times
  373. If, by accident, you don't trigger its protection once, try to throw another MDisk at it to skip one of its jumps
  374. Last phase : he jumps on one of the higher platforms, hit it with one MDisk to trigger the final QTE cutscene
  375. when the Reaper lands, hit it once
  376. TO-DO : find the correct timing to not trigger its protection (MDisk-only fight)
  377.  
  378. - Roll to the left, shoot at the button on the door to open it, and reach the Electrical Room
  379.  
  380. Electrical Room :
  381. - Dodge the electricity :
  382. * 1st : in between
  383. * 2nd : on the left
  384. - Stop near the entrance of the little room
  385. - Shoot the rat on the fan, and shoot it twice (to align it with the button)
  386. - Run closer to the button
  387. - Shoot at it when it's on again
  388. - Reach the bigger room, go around the central machine and try to take the Triangular Key
  389. - Cutscene : rolling drone appears
  390. - Run closer the the electric fence on the left, Super Attack from PeyJ, throw it in the fence
  391. - Take the Triangular Key
  392. - Take the AP1
  393. - Come back to the center of the room, and try to activate the Triangular button
  394. - Cutscene : 5 rolling drones appear
  395. * For the 4 first drones : Super Attack with PeyJ, and throw them on each other for instant destruction
  396. * For the 5th one : hit it until it overheats
  397. - Run to the Triangular button and activate it
  398. - Take the Fuse next to it, go around the central machine, and get the 2nd Fuse
  399. - Exit the Electrical Room
  400.  
  401. Elevator Room :
  402. - Run towards the broken part of the elevator, and spam E to activate PeyJ action
  403. - Cutscene
  404. - Run to the right of the elevator and put the Fuse back
  405. - Cutscene
  406. - Activate the button
  407. - Cutscene
  408. - Enter the elevator, and activate the inner button when PeyJ already entered the elevator
  409. - Cutscene
  410. - Come closer to the right side (with the 2 buttons)
  411. - Shoot at them (both should be activated nearly simultaneously)
  412. - Enter the room : Sarcophagus will appear after a short cutscene
  413. * 2 Charged Attack
  414. * Photograph the Sarcophagus near PeyJ
  415. * Kill it with a 3-hit combo
  416. - On the right side of the room, jump on the upper platform
  417. - Kick the grid to open it
  418. - Reach the X-Ray Verification
  419.  
  420. X-Ray Verification :
  421. - Safe zone
  422. - Reach the other room at the end of the bridge, then instantly come back to where you came
  423. - Cutscene of PeyJ
  424. - Push the fallen box near the door (1 time left, 3 times near)
  425. - Jump on the box (Left Click) then shoot at the button (need need to move the camera, the MDisk goes through)
  426. - Kick in the left grid
  427. - Croutch and roll
  428.  
  429. Shipping Room :
  430. - Run on the right, jump on the platform
  431. - Double H cutscene
  432. - Roll on the floor all the way to the left side (beware of rats, roll far away from them or on them to kill)
  433. - When reaching the end of the tunnel : unhook
  434. - Follow the edge on the right
  435. - DODGE 1 : Dodge the guards by Rolling (standing - DON'T RUN AT ALL)
