  1. Preparations were always in order.
  2.
  3. The rich workshop that Marcel owned allowed him to present more than enough tools in order to work with just about anything- assortments gathered for magitech specialty, clearly, yet capable of working with mystical items all the same.
  4.
  5. Considering the odd and bizarre runic tables, with seemingly synthetic hands extending all around it... assistants, perhaps?
  6.
  7. "Lay out your plan."
  8.
  9. In the meantime, Marcel fits himself into appropriate clothing for his workshop- a protective piece of gear, one that is made to withstand extreme temperatures.
  10.
  11. Naturally he assumes they'll be working with Arcanium - and that doesn't get smelted except in the hottest flames.
  12.
  13. "And materials, of course. Step by step."
  14.
  15. "If you'd like precise work, I need precise words on what you intend to achieve."
  16.
  17. "Otherwise, I'll be left to improvise."
  18.
  19. Naturally he can do that, of course- at least for certain parts, but... if Nidaz were to get exactly what he wants?
  20.
  21. It's best he'll explain it all to Marcel.
  22. (Marcel Delisle)
  23.
  24. Materials gathered and a suitable Artificer found to work on the improvements of Aeternuslyn! Now it was just time for them to start the work, so they went to Marcel's Workshop, in his residence obviously for that!
  25.
  26. As expect, as usual.
  27.
  28. The place had an exquisite tone of wealth, together with the efficiency of magitech technologies, which helped the Artificer in some way! Which was clearly something respectful, so much so that Nidaz could get used to working with Marcel thanks to that.
  29.
  30. Truly! He probably could give an hand in order to help the Councilman in his projects.. Yes, yes.
  31.
  32. With the words of a necessary explanation coming towards the necromancer, he was getting ready to start talking, as he positioned Aeternuslyn over the table, "So let's start with the simplest part of all this, very well?
  33.
  34. Good, good.
  35.
  36. If you look at the blade of my axe, you will notice several things, mainly it's artificial veins! It is not a problem, but its ends lack more efficiency when it comes to providing cuts.. To drain blood. In order to change that, I want to add in the metals such as arcanium, to theblade.
  37.
  38. Great stuff, truly.
  39.
  40. As said, something very simple." He would explain, sliding his finger over the blade of the weapon which at the mere touch pulsated the blood from the artificial veins, "Now for the most delicate, complicated and clearly important part! We will be using a seal, which was used on an old door in Freda's laboratory years ago.
  41.
  42. Nasty place..
  43.
  44. What exactly do you ask me that it is for? To use the essence of this seal, the ability to imprison or if you prefer, to seal something in one place! That is, to prevent the movements of enemies on the battlefield, making my life easier when it comes to hitting them with the axe..
  45.
  46. And also to provide me ways of escaping if necessary, of course! I'm old after all.
  47.
  48. Now, I believe that this should cover all, otherwise, you will obviously have to improvise, because you are the Artificer here! And in the end of the day, I just know how to create abominations.." Concluding his speech, he would deliver the materials to the man, so that he could work.
  49.
  50. Now, clearly there was more to be said, but such could wait them to finish the job on Aeternuslyn, as it was the object that the man cared about the most at that moment.
  51. (Nidaz)
  52.
  53. Nidaz drops Aeternuslyn.
  54.
  55.
  56.
  57. Aeternuslyn [WEAPON]
  58. "The head of the axe runs red as blood seems to shift and circulate all over the weapon, much like how human veins circulate blood. By the center of its blade, an intriguing crimson gem in the shape of a teardrop sits upon it, eerily beating much like a heart. Around it, a fleshy shell covering a sturdy protective layer protects the heart, much like how a ribcage would in a normal human body. The slightest shimmer of cosmic energies make the weapon feel star-kissed as its vile demeanor against beasts remains unchanged.
  59.
  60. Forged and enhanced by the influences of a star itself, this weapon rends at a ludicrously stronger degree. Those who find themselves in the unfortunate scenario of getting cut by this axe makes their blood feel coagulated, making them more sluggish and an easier target for further attacks. Stardust swirls within the blood of the weapon itself, and each droplet of ichor from a slashed target seems to be absorbed and consumed by the ravenous weapon, adding to the blood that flows within its veins.
  61.
  62. Crafted by the Master Artificer Amelia Locke pyr Aertas in the year 1809 AC."

  68.
  69. Nidaz drops Cosmic Imbued Seal.
  70.
  71. Nidaz drops Arcanium x1.
  72.
  73.
  74.
  75. Cosmic Imbued Seal [SHIELD]
  76. "Years under the influence of cosmic magic, this seal made of Tyrium was formerly used to keep a door shut. While it is a simple, mechanical seal used for firing a lock once activated, but it can be repurposed quite easily."
  77. RPL Req: 999
  78. Boost: None
  79. [Heart of Creation]
  80.
  81.
  82. Arcanium
  83. "A hefty chunk of ore that contains precious arcanium."
  84. Resource: to 60 STONE
  85.
  86. Ksena is now following you.
  87.
  88. "Hrm.."
  89.
  90. Complex in its nature. Most definitely it would be something that'd require a lot of work from him, but at the same time, it isn't necessary to be strenuous for him - especially considering the various workshop upgrades that he's had over the years.
  91.
  92. By now, it should be much easier.
  93.
  94. "Stand back from the forge."
  95.
  96. He approaches towards it, soon elevating the temperature of the forge drastically, all with the fire-borne runes that infuse the flames with mana - so that it could smelt arcanium. While it already begins to grow hotter- much hotter, Marcel draws the draft for the improvement of arcanium upon the blade.
  97.
  98. It would be akin to surface casing, yet ingrained and woven into the very structure of it.
  99.
  100. "And.."
  101.
  102. "Place the seal on the runic table. Let the synthetic assistants begin taking care of it."
  103.
  104. Yet there were no actual synths wandering around the workshop- these were mechanical arms sticking out all around the table, awaiting something to be done. Surely it's meant to prepare the working grounds for him..
  105.
  106. Perhaps, for Nidaz too.
  107.
  108. The first chunks of Arcanium are loaded- being steadily smelted, his gaze turns towards Nidaz in the meantime.
  109.
  110. "I assume that's all on your wishes?"
  111.
  112. He could improvise with the rest.
  113. (Marcel Delisle)
  114.
  115. Moving away from the forge, the man would let the Artificer work. His gaze falling on this one, as he started working on the Arcanium..
  116.
  117. As always, it was amazing to watch such things..
  118.
  119. With the request to put the seal over the table, Nidaz would quickly do so! He was not only there to ask Marcel to work, but also to help if necessary..
  120.
  121. Something he would do without any problems.
  122.
  123. As soon as he heard the next question, the man would lean against the wall before answering, "There are two more things I want your help with, one is making a ring, using this.." He would then pull a ring from his pocket, which had a red jewel in its center and seemed to speak to those around it, "Besides obviously asking for your help as an artificer, for us to be able to build the chairs requested by Alexei..
  124.
  125. You rememver, yes? Mhm, mhm." He would respond, pulling the plans out for the chairs.
  126.
  127. In theory the chairs were a set of bones and meats provided from dead Magis, where there was mainly one of the chairs who stood out because it had the name of Alexei next to it, since probably it would be made for him.. Now the material for such a chair? It would be Aviel, someone who Marcel could probably remember about.
  128.
  129. Other things mentioned were boar leather and also rabbit fur.. Simple things.
  130.
  131. "Can you help me with these things too?" He would question, before remaining silent to await an answer.
  132. (Nidaz)
  133.
  134. Nidaz drops The Whispering Ring.
  135.
  136. Nidaz picks up Arcanium.
  137.
  138. Nidaz picks up The Whispering Ring.
  139.
  140. Nidaz drops Arcanium x1.
  141.
  142.
  143.
  144. Aeternuslyn [WEAPON]
  146.

  150. Boost: +60power +10crit +2water def +5ether pow +3ether def +2bio pow
  151. {Gem: HellstormBolt; CD: 60 seconds; Mana Cost: 15; Base Pow:1; AOE Pow:0}
  152. [EXALTED MAGIC GLYPH]
  153. [EXALTED ETHER RUNE]
  154. [Unique]
  155.
  156. "One at a time."
  157.
  158. To create a ring and chairs like these, all while working upon the weaponry... surely Nidaz didn't expect him to perform it all at once? Especially when creation of something this great requires his full concentration.
  159.
  160. "It'll be done, all in due time."
  161.
  162. The smelted Arcanium is steadily removed from the forge, if only to be poured into the layout of the casing for the axe; here, it could be cooled down slightly until the metal becomes workable to be bent.. an addition that would make the axe not only fuelled by the magical potencies of the Arcanium, but ensure that the counter-weight on it remains steadfast.
  163.
  164. A piece of Imperial technology, one that focuses on efficient swing of the weapon and the force behind it.
  165.
  166. "Hm.."
  167.
  168. The weapon is moved over- the casing of arcanium steadily applied over the blade along with the counter-weight, adjusted not only by the hammer, but by the tongs as well- it is meticulous work, often requiring a great deal of detail from the likes of Marcel..
  169.
  170. Mistake would be unacceptable here.
  171.
  172. "Now the table."
  173.
  174. The seal, along with the encased blade, are moved to the runic table- already he could see the magitech arms stretch out towards it, an inscription of the runes beginning to take form.
  175.
  176. Obviously operated by Marcel himself.
  177.
  178. "What is it about those chairs that's special, anyway?"
  179. (Marcel Delisle)
  180.
  181. Obviously, the man did not expect to work everything in an instant, every thing in time. Especially considering that for them to work on making the chairs they would need to get to his laboratory!
  182.
  183. For there were all or at least part of the necessary resources.
  184.
  185. "Yes, yes everything in due time! I understand that, no problem." He would say, nodding multiple times to the artificer, "And what makes them so different? In addition to the obvious COMFORT of sitting on the purest flesh provided by magi bodies, we are talking about the highest level of power!
  186.
  187. Use your enemies as chairs.
  188.
  189. Their meat will be wrapped in wild boar leather, together with rabbit hair to make it fluffy. So it is something extremely unique, isn't it? And also shows that nothing goes to waste!" He would say, smiling briefly at the Artificer.
  190.
  191. It was clear that he didn't even notice the problem in the things he said himself.. Which was odd, sincethis was something that he would normally understand, but that has changed after a few recent events.
  192.
  193. Traumatic things.
  194.
  195. Besides, while waiting for the words from Marcel or more questions, the man would remain silent to observe the work! In order not to end up getting in the way.
  196. (Nidaz)
  197.
  198. The seal unveiled.
  199.
  200. Through runic inscriptions does he begin to slowly unveil the power hidden within the seal, all to transport it upon the body of the weapon- the complex runework, taught to him by Amelia Aertas so long ago, is utilized in order to ensure that it is woven into the structure of the blade.
  201.
  202. Through what seems to be almost artificial presence of the circuitry... albeit, unliving- the moving, interactive mana flow that is given into the runic inscription.
  203.
  204. "..."
  205.
  206. Yet his gaze turns towards Nidaz for a brief moment. In all truth, he didn't share the sentiment of needing chairs made out of their enemies.. after all, it's simply disrespectful to the dead, and brings nothing to the table.
  207.
  208. His heart ached still, wanting to take vengeance on the likes of Rhesus for killing his son - but such cruelty holds no reason. And yet..
  209.
  210. "--I see."
  211.
  212. He didn't bother to argue. Part of the Captain simply didn't feel like arguing about many things as of late, only being focused on production and working; just like he works on the blade right now, weaving the runic inscription.
  213.
  214. Each piece of runework requiring a great deal of mana, perhaps almost excessive- it is extended throughout minutes, almost an hour.. and the way how he works so well detailed on the runework could be compared to an artist creating a masterpiece
  215.
  216. A calligraphy, almost- every rune a thoroughly spelled word of the mystical; every stroke of his genius a moment in which the magitech technique is used to embed the seal's power into the blade.
  217.
  218. Parameters are set; much like this seal was meant to trap things before, it is now intended to trap what it strikes.
  219.
  220. "Almost done.."
  221.
  222. The final checking process. He quietly hums, seemingly going over the casing and runework alike..
  223.
  224. It was important, after all.
  225. (Marcel Delisle)
  226.
  227. The man would observe as Marcel now began the procedure of working with the seal, which was the most important part of the entire improvement process of Aeternuslyn!
  228.
  229. "And now what exactly do I need your help with? Resources, nothing more, nothing less. You are an artificer, an alchemist!
  230.
  231. Mhm, mhm.
  232.
  233. Then! There must be countless of leathers and other parts of beings like lapine, that I can use! Yes, yes? You can help me with this, can't you?" He would question, looking at Marcel briefly as if awaiting a positive response.
  234.
  235. As always.
  236.
  237. Obviously, Marcel would not work directly with the magi meat, after all he was not a Fleshcrafter! No. That was Nidaz's job and only his, maybe of his apprentices.. Or at least those few he had.
  238.
  239. All Marcel needed was to help with the provision of resources! That is all.
  240.
  241. While waiting for an answer, he would observe the work of the artificer, which to Nidaz's surprise was surprising AMAZING! In fact, it was a good choice to have spoken to Marcel, since Amelia seemed to be more absent than anything in the last few years..
  242.
  243. Which was a shame! Since she was the first one to create the beloved Aeternuslyn.
  244.
  245. However, with Marcel's help, Nidaz would be able to complete his projects! Which was clearly good.. As expected.
  246. (Nidaz)
  247.
  248. "Quiet."
  249.
  250. "I must focus."
  251.
  252. It wasn't necessarily rudeness on Marcel's part.. as far as his utter and absolute focus on the final stages of completion- here, tuning in and refining some of the runic parameters to ensure that the power of the seal would seek to steal from its targets, as well as to ensure that the casing holds up well..
  253.
  254. It was very much important to ensure that it goes successfully.
  255.
  256. His eyes drift over the weapon on the runic table, and with the final tunings made, the magitech arms stretching out of it seem to finally stop- no longer assisting Marcel with the runework.
  257.
  258. For he is finished.
  259.
  260. "It is done."
  261.
  262. He breaks the silence at last by speaking out, lifting the weapon up carefully- inspecting it a little bit, he remarks.
  263.
  264. "The changes will need a bit to solidify, but it'll be good enough soon."
  265.
  266. A pause, to which he adds.
  267.
  268. "And yes. You can take leathers and parts of lapine." That much he didn't care about storing in excessive quantities.
  269.
  270. They were easy to get, after all.
  271. (Marcel Delisle)
