- Cultural festivals are benign. There is no Irish or German lobby. There are no social or academic organizations for these groups either (the scant that exist almost never extend beyond a festival or parade and being exclusionary in any sense is not tolerated. So are they really theirs? Or are they up for grabs?). There's still black pride for political organization in Europe despite the Africans coming over willingly from their ethnic centers. There's Asian Pride, Hispanic Pride, etc. These are all statements of solidarity with one another, cooperation (against whom though>), white pride would be the same.
- A fundamental error in the Reddit post is that Identity does not only go backward in time but forward. He acknowledges this for Blacks. After cultural disruption you start with what remains, race. Migration and War have altered Europe a lot, the EU and anglosphere are testaments to that.
- Especially since whites in the new world and anglosphere are basically seen and described as white. Not as German, Irish, and English save for esoteric and fleeting circumstances. People who like the EU really cant argue that European subgroups showing solidarity and cooperation with one another is bad. Moreover in Europe, those national and ethnic identties are further dishonestly critiqued and deconstructed, while immigrant identities are not. It's all argued to be a fake construction from unification. See how the rabbit hole of deconstruction never stops?
