Her parents are specialist surgeons who are very rarely at home at the same time, because of their work Haeun is left at home all alone most of the time. She never does anything 'family' like with her parents are they are always busy. She tried to gain their attention by getting into trouble at school but gave up as she didn't want to cause them more trouble and make there lives harder. She told them once that if she could have a brother or sister but they said no. She's been lonely in her bland house for a long time.

ANY BAD HISTORY?: When she was home alone (15), some people came in and started stealing all the things in the house when she came out of her room to see the racket (she thought her parents had come home) she saw them and ran but they caught her and stabbed her in the thigh and bashed her up and she had to be hospitalized at the same hospital her parents work at. (they finally noticed her.) the people were caught and put in jail and the items stolen were returned.
