- Bernadette was walking through the market place scanning the various stalls and stores looking for the right gift to give to her long time friend Queen Alicia. She felt bad for having to cancel their date yesterday due to an unforseen mishap with Jules' robotic body, causing him to lock up into a ball when he tried to bend in a certain direction. It took them all day trying to figure out how to unlock the form. She simply had to give her a present for any inconviniences she caused.
- "Oh Madam, I zee you are luuking for zomthing but not quite sure of what. Per by ze hapz a gift for a friend or family member?" A male foriegn voice called to her. Bernadette turned towards him. Immidiately she could smell an overwhelming amount of exotic floral and fungal scents. The second thing she noticed was that it was surrounded by buetiful and unique plants with vivid and bright colors that stuck out from the brick background that the stall was placed in front of. Plants big and small, bright red to dark green, some glowing (though she was sure this was the fungi), the colors of the plants seemed to go across the whole rainbow of colors. Certainly none of this was found in any areas near the Acorn Kingdom otherwise she'd have a garden of at least two of them. Finally she noticed the origin of the voice, a coyote who had looked past his years and had seen his fair share of conflict and peace.
- Bernadette realized she was staring and made her way up to the stall, surely there would be something in here that would please her old friend. "Why yes, I'm looking for something to give to an old friend." She said as she stared across the counter and floor surrounding the stall. The area the plants took over were almost twice as wide as the stall itself and she counted at least 15 different species.
- The Coyote brightened up considerably when he realized he may have a potential costumer. "Well exactly who iz your friend? What kind of person are zey and on what occasion are you attending?" The Coyote asked.
- Bernadette knew it wouldn't be wise to just outright say in the central Mobotropolis market place that she was looking for a gift of the previous Queen so she had to be careful with her choice of words. "Well it's just a lazy day to spend together. I know she's been pretty inactive lately and I know that such a thing can drag a person's emotions down, so I was hoping to cheer her up and possibly do something with her."
- The Coyote seemed to get more meaning on those words than Bernadette would have liked. "Ah, I zee. Well nothing like a bouquet of flowers to brighten one's day, ah?" The Coyote said as he grabbed a bouqet of what seem to be some form of purple violets.
- "I was thinking of something a little more...uhh casual. Something that she could take care as well and see grow. I think that would probably let her forget about a few of her daily stresses." Bernadette said.
- The Coyote looked at his desk for a bit in a thoughtful manner. "Hmm. I do have a rare plant from Chunan. If found it's usually given to a women who's been under a lot of stress, especially if she haz problems with her husband. Ze scent it releases iz known to...repair and liven the relationship. I believe that is something like what you're looking for?" This time the Coyote bent down to grab a plant that had been jarred. Bernadette almost gasped at it's brilliance. The very start of the base started as any other plant would just a solid beam of dark green but it soon split off into 4 small stems that spiraled to until they reached the flower itself. The flowers looked similar to lilys but the petals were dark purple that turned to an even deeper shade of dark as they went down and were lined with white on the outer rims. The stigma also was covered in a gold dust that Bernadette could only guess was the plant's pollen.
- "My that looks gorgous! Why are they so rare? I'd make a garden of them myself if I could get my hands on the right type of soil." Bernadette asked.
- The Coyote smirked. "Well that's because they don't grow in natural zoil my dear. They grow in caves with little light within the cracks and even zen it haz to be the right type of rock. It's why they are so hard to come by, not to mention very scarce however if you remove the flower with the surrounding rock it will grow just az well in ze common bedroom. Plus, even if you could make a garden of zem I would have to zuggest not to. Ze scent might be too powerful. Too much of anything izn't guud." He then opened the jar and beckoned for Bernadette to take a whiff. When she did she had to grab onto the table to keep herself from losing balance. The Coyote was right. That scent can be powerful if concentrated.
- "Point taken." Bernadette said as she regained composure. She stood and pondered for a moment before deciding what to do. "Alright, what's it's name and how much will it cost?" She said with a small sigh knowing that such an exotic plant wouldn't be cheap.
- "It's called 'Uwan Chuha' I think. A friend of mine told me it only twice and my memory isn't az clear az it used to be and as for the price, well I did have to go through a lot of trouble for thiz. But I believe anything can be bartered for a reasonable deal." The Coyote said, closing the jar again.

- Bernadette was making her way up to the castle's entrance before a certain well known digital Lynx materialized before her. "Bernadette Hedgehog what business brings you to Castle Acorn?" Nicole sternly asked, maintaining an authoritian composure.
- "Oh, Nicole you know me and Alicia had plans yesterday. I wasn't able to show up due to a mishap with my husband so i'm making it up today by coming earlier and giving her...This!" Bernadette explained as she presented the exotic plant that she was holding. "Doesn't it look pretty? I've never seen such a plant before." Bernadette said as she gazed and examined it once more. For some reason, she started to feel something warm in the back of her head.
- Nicole changed her position from authoritian to her more relaxed composure though she was obviously puzzled by the plant. "Sorry Bernadette, but you know that I have to ensure that no trespassers or terrorists get into the castle. Just part of my protocol." Nicole stated. She leaned further towards the plant trying to examine each part of it. "However, i'm worried about your flora there Bernie."
- "Why's that? It's just a plant. Don't worry, it's not poisonous or anything. If it was then i'd already be dead, i'm sure." Bernadette responded.
- "No. Of course not. However my olfactory sensors are picking up a high concentration of hormonal like substances from it. I'm thinking it might be wise to study it's effects before giving it to her majesty." Nicole said, uncertain of what exactly she is picking up from it.
- "Well yea, that's the point. Apparently it's a Chunesse plant that is given to wives and couples that are having hard times. I suppose the flower's pollen is what's causing you to pick up those readings. I'm guessing the pollen, when inhaled, causes a the person to calm down. There are similar plants like that." Bernadette explained.
- Nicole cocked an eye and smiled in amusement. "I didn't know that the mother of the legendary hero Sonic would be so into plants." Nicole replied. Bernadette just gave her a big smile, happy that someone had noticed her attunement with plants. Her curiousity wasn't quelled though, she had seen and sensed how the other plants were but the pollen for this one was a bit different, it seemed too active, like as if it was trying to cause a reaction instead of mistakeningly doing so like the others. Unfortunately there was no way she could really tell how it would effect organics in the long run since she herself wasn't sure of what the plant was nor was she organic. She examined the plant one final time. "Hmm. Well, I don't see any reason to say no and you do have a point. I'm not detecting any lethal or harmful chemicals or compounds. It's in the clear, however mind telling me the name and how you got it, I would like to study it further if I can." Nicole said, standing aside and holding out her hands to present her to the entrance.
- "I got it from an old Coyote who was selling a whole bunch of plants just like this. He seemed to know his way around, I would have liked talking to him about them but I just couldn't keep Queen Alicia waiting on me. The plant's name is 'Uwan Chuha' by the way. I don't know how to spell it, sorry." Bernadette answered as she began to make her way to the entrance again.
- "It's quite alright, the name alone should suffice." Nicole replied as she dematerialized. "I'll call down Queen Alicia to the guest room you'll meet her there if that's fine." Nicole opened the doors to the castle when Bernadette was a few steps from them to let her through while she went back into her virtual network.
- "There's no need to call her down. Just tell her to meet me in the Royal Quarter room if you can, I think that would be the best spot to put the plant anyway." Bernadette called back. As Bernadette walked away from Nicole she felt as if something in her mind lifted. Like as if there was something that she was thinking about but didn't notice.
- "Alright then. I'll make sure you meet her there then. Hope you two have a lovely noon and afternoon." Nicole answered. "Uwan Chuha. Uwan Chuha. A Chunesse plant named Uwan Chuha. It's probably nothing but i'll make sure to keep it in my backlog so that I can study it later and make sure it's nothing." Nicole thought to herself.
