BACKGROUND:  Jangwon Wu was born in Taiwan and raised by Měilíng and Jiāmíng Wu in Taitung City, Taiwan. Both parents treated their son like he was such a fragile doll and made sure he was pampered with anything he wanted. Though this may spoil a child, they were also able to teach him the value of being humble; never boasting or bragging about any of the things they had. He had attended elementary school but was then pulled out and home-schooled after an incident in which a teacher was fired. At the age of 11, he started to show interest in gymnastics and begged his parents to let him join a team in which they did reluctantly and he was pretty good at it. Later on, he spotted a group of boys on the street dancing for money (street performers) and that soon sparked his interest. Drawn completely to it, he asked the boys if they could possibly teach him some of their moves and just like that he decided dance was what he really wanted to do. He then continued to meet up with the boys even sometimes - against his parent's knowledge - preforming with them. At the age of 13, while on a trip to Seoul, South Korea, he was scouted (it took his parents a really long time to agree for him to go and they refused to leave him there alone)and soon realized that he could make his interests into pure entertainment internationally.

			What Jangwon doesn't know is that he was actually born Park Jeonga to a 16 year old, Park Jihye in Daegu, South Korea. His mother gave him a girl name when he was born due to her being hyped on a drug that made her particular dizzy so she wasn't able to register that she just gave her son a girl name. He was born without a father and his mother's family didn't approve of her having a child at such a young age. When pressured to find his father and marry quickly, his mother gave up and was gave her son up to her 19 year old best friend, Měilíng Lin-Wu. His parents refuse to let him know of this information until he is old enough to really process it plus they don't want him to go looking for his mother. Thus, this being the reason why they found it so hard for him to go and be a trainee for Starship simply because his real mother still lived in South Korea and they feared that they might meet one way or the other.

PERSONALITY: ⦁ Jangwon is so innocent its almost hard to believe. Since he was so heavily sheltered as a child, almost everything is new to him. He doesn't curse and doesn't really get sexual innuendos. He has a very fragile heart that he let's almost anyone into without really thinking twice. The boy takes a lot of things to heart and doesn't really know how to take criticism which he is really trying to work through seeing as he will get criticized a lot being in the industry. He really can't help it it's just that he's too weak to really bring his guard up. He treats everyone he gets really close to or at least becomes a bit more comfortable with like they are his world doing so because he believes that everyone deserves to feel that way. He is extremely passionate about what he does so every single thing they do as a group he takes as seriously as he can. Jangwon believes that the cure for pretty much anything is a smile and a hug so whenever anyone of them are feeling down that is what he delivers to them - a smile and a hug. Yet, when he is down, he doesn't want to speak to not a single person; he'll become mute until he feels like talking again. When he gets angry he's very passive about it till everyone around him notices that he is a bit peeved off about something and asks him. Though, it's rare for him to feel either emotion but when he does its a shock to everyone around him. He's easy to please aswell and easy to jump up and please others.
