[08:07] Furiae kept her grin.

In truth, she was a bit nervous. After all, they were in the heart of the mire... and Furiae wasn't particularly paying attention to their surroundings. Imagine her surprise when she snapped awake, finding herself in Shadowmire. "Ki-hi-hi... You idiots seriously got me into this situation; there's no way I'm lettin' any of us pay that tithe, so... I guess we'll just have to fight.

Right?"

Her sword was brandished, Furiae ready to strike. However, the sound of thunderous footsteps caught her attention: an ogre?! "Oh... oh no."

[08:09] Seems this time around the fights were being brought towards the mire. Was quite the surprise but was surely welcomed.

Seeing the swordsman launch directly at the unknown mutant would only make him wonder if they'd be fine. Hadn't seen their magics yet so he'd pray that mother Nyx guides them in battle.

For the other two that stood up front. He wouldn't attack as of yet, picking between the two was rather.. Difficult.

"Which of you two are the strongest?" He asks the Dayndros.

[08:10] Furiae Dayndros says, "..."
[08:10] Furiae Dayndros says, "Me."
[08:10] Kaine Dayndros says, "S'right..."
[08:11] "Hmm."

It is clear from his eyes that he has little interest in fighting children. He might as well go about searching for bugs to squash. The mutant does like their boldness however.

"Brave little lambs. Led to slaughter. Are you sure you want the tithe to be forced out of you?"

He asks with a curious gaze. A wide grin showing on his features and his fangs being exposed. From the tip drips acidic poison that shizzles and burns away at the grass once it lands on the ground.

[08:11] Fuji Warborn says, "Step forth then."
[08:11] Furiae Dayndros says, "Hm."
[08:11] As the behemoth entered the mire, he noticed a group of children refusing to pay the toll, and before he could speak, they sought to battle instead. The king claps his hands together, standing directly over the group of three, ignoring the more heading towards Fuji.

"Three in the mire and refuse to pay? Can't have at all."

The Ogre king pounds his chest; it seems it was time for battle.

"COME IN MIRE AND WON'T PAY SEEMS HAVE DEATH WISH!"

All three would get what they deserved; however, the king had hit sights set on the blonde one. He gets close to her face and emits an ear-piercing scream.

"RAWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW"

His foul breath was colliding with her body; he had his sights set out to crush her. This would be a lesson they'd never forgot, or at least he'd hope they'd not forget it.

"GLURUK WILL CRUSH YOU!"

[08:12] Fuji Warborn exclaims, "No Gluruk, this one's mine!"
[08:12] Gluruk exclaims, "!!!"
[08:12] Gluruk exclaims, "GLURUK WILL ALLOW THIS!"
[08:13] Furiae Dayndros says, "C'mon, Snow White, let's -fight-."
[08:13] Fuji Warborn says, "Beat the shit out of sparky."
[08:13] Gluruk exclaims, "COME BOY!"
[08:13] Kaine Dayndros says, "Heh. C'mere."
[08:15] Preparation. The Rhoynish had never once won a battle against a monster, but he had dearly hoped that it would soon change.

Not enough, it seems.

The Dayndros clutched his handguard, ready to charge forth.

"S'fuck it.

I'll get you!"

[08:18] Gluruk beats on his chest as a thicc layer of armor covered his body; he sought battle, and it seems they brought themselves to the mire. Another test for the Ogre to prove his claim as King!

The Ogre forms a bolder within his palm, lunging towards the boy aiming to crush him.

He could feel his blood pumping even while being injured; the thrill of battle excites him.

[08:20] ** Gluruk has inflicted an injury upon Kaine Dayndros. ("Temporary Injury", "Temporary Injury", "Temporary", "") **
[08:34] While the group of children are brave, they are foolish; he surrounded the boy with sand. Gluruk used this to get close, trapping the boy in place and using the sand to crush his body.

However, this time, Gluruk was out for blood; he used earth magic from a bed of spikes slapping the boy in the air. Finally, he'd catch them and bring them close to his face.

"Let this be a lesson for you."

Gluruk squeezes him hard, causing only blood to come from the boy; he drinks what little he managed to get from his body.

"Gluruk is King of Ogre." He paused. "The ignorant call me tyrant, but the wise call me Lord."

He tossed the boy to the group walking away from them; it seems there was nothing more he could do to the child.

"Be wise for you to remember that."

Guru looked at the sky with his blood-soaked teeth; he began beating his chest and shouting at the sky. It wasn'tclear who the Ogre was speaking to, but he seemed intent on getting a response.

"ARE YOU NOT ENTERTAINED! GRANT ME WHAT I SEEK FOR I CONTROL THE EARTH AROUND ME!"

The Ogre began stomping as the ground beneath him began to shake; he then started punching the ground, causing a large dust cloud to form around him. He'd shout at the sky before departing either the Ogre was crazy or insane. There was no middle ground, and each battle, drove him closer to insanity for whatever reason.

Perhaps being around so much occult and evil beings took a toll on the Ogre, but he'd continue making his claim for better or worst.

[08:34] The mutant was a newly awakened. He was still adapting to his powers. The poison was just a side effect of his mutation. He fought and gave it his best shot.

Several miscalculations led to him falling into the trap of Ronan. His own vine used against him as the mutant got knocked back into a tree. Before he could even get up and go on the counter attack, a bolt of lightning zaps into the mutant's form, shocking him and temporarily paralyzing the man. In his weakened state, he was unable to continue the fight.


He was confident in victory. Confident in overcoming the small obstacle put before him and so when he lost? He felt...pleasure. He was happy. Zerath enjoyed himself. That was all the mutant cared about. Victory would have been extremely boring considering the status of his opponent. And that would have struck a blow to the man had it been a dull affair.

"Good good. You're strong kid. But it is not enough. Grow stronger so I'llhave more fun fighting you next time."
