The Siege of Saint Barnabas

(Dark clouds gather overhead as council envoys surround the main building of the hospital. Black tentacles have wrapped themselves around the 6th floor of the hospital and smoke is still billowing from the truck that Wakefield crashed into the hospitals main entrance. Connar has gathered everyone in the main courtyard to discuss their plan of attack.)
Connar: Based on what the envoys are telling me, Wakefield has sealed himself off on the 6th floor of the hospital. The good news is All other floors have been evacuated and it looks like he is holding the patients there hostage. The bad news is that the 6th floor is the pediatric ward, most of his hostages are children and he still has the smiling man at his disposal. We have yet to fully chart this cryptids power so everyone should be on high alert. (Reaches into coat pocket and pulls out 5 grenade sized canisters and passes them out) these are anima capacitors they are similar to the ones used by the custodians in Agartha but they are not quite as powerful, but they should be powerful enough to clear the filth from the hospital. To charge them you just hold them and summon a charge to that hand, and then you simply throw them and take cover. Any questions so far?
Blaise: “How many floors? and I hate climbing stairs;  so helicopter, roof, falling with style. See where I’m going with this?  And two . Miss Angel joining us on this? Just so used to … (Pauses at seeing Alice and Kate. He smiles)
Connar: If we go in through the roof it will alert him to our presence and then he may start killing hostages. Right now I think the best way to get in would be by climbing up the elevator shaft, this will make it hard for him to detect us and easier to get people out.
Kate:Normally I would agree with Blaise on this but given how things normally go when your around the last thing I want to do is get into a chopper with you.
Kenzie: “Hi Connar.” (at seeing Blaise) You asked Blaise for help on this Connar? You’re braver than I realize …and desperate.  Hi Blaise .”
Alice: “Yes, I’m sorry, the ‘smiling man’?”
Connar:Good catch I forgot I haven’t filled everyone in on the smiling man. While Kate and Angelique where tracking Wakefield, Kenzie and I were investigating sightings of a new cryptid that appeared in New York around the same time as Wakefield. Based on eyewitness accounts it seems to be some kind of apparition that takes the form of a smiling man in a suit. Everyone who has seen it has died within 6 hours of their sighting, it only seems to target children and seems to kill via induced heart failure. It provided one child with a teddy bear coated in the same substance that Wakefield was carrying in the truck and it appears to be able to move about the hospital undetected. We have not yet fully charted the capabilities of this creature, so approach it with caution. All we know for sure is that we are entering its hunting grounds and taking its food, so it’s a safe bet that it’s going to become extremely aggressive. I don’t know how much control Wakefield has over it but when we encounter it we should neutralize it as quickly as possible, standard anima based weapons should be sufficient to put it down.
Connar: I would also like to introduce everyone to Alice she will be helping us with this operation
Alice:(Alice stands in her Illuminati issued basic Integrated Anima Armor looking like something out of a heavily armed private security company) “Thank you. I’ll be honest, I am only aware of your Wakefield via Twitter; personally I’m here to get people out. Given the situation I will leave his outcome in your much more involved hands. I am unaware of your individual specialties but can offer my skills as a medic and overall wonderful distraction should you require a decoy.”
Blaise: (Looks over his outfit and wipes his brow and exhales)  “I was worried they were describing me”  “I’m pleased to meet you Miss Alice.” (flashing his Cheshire grin ) “are you The Alice?”
Alice: (Tilts her head, her face obscured by the respirator with its mirrored visor) “That would depend on who you believe to be -the- Alice. I am -a- Alice, one of three among those I work with.”
Blaise: “I have had the pleasure of meeting Alice Monroe and seen activity of Alice Wakefield. The other I don’t know and the visor makes the voice and face difficult to place. Harry isn’t your dad or something is he?”
Alice: “No, we had a brother from another Twitterer joke running but I’ve never met the man and have only seen the Twitter exchanges between those of you involved with him. Other than that the man is a mystery.”
Kenzie: Hello Alice, I’m Kenzie Sterling. I work elemental magic as a primary and secondary fire arms if that helps tactically.
Connar: I have also sent a dog whistle app to everyone’s phone, this will allow you to call Tuk without having to whistle, and given how he saved us all last time I thought it would be helpful to have him along. Only he can hear the whistle so in the event that we need to discreetly summon back up we can do that, just tap the whistle icon on your phone. Finally I would like to remind everyone that this is a rescue operation our top priority is to get as many people out alive as possible. I would also like to remind everyone that most of his hostages are kids between the ages of 3-10, so we are almost certainly going have to carry a few of them out, so don’t hesitate to call for an escort out of the building if you need one. The council has requested that we take Wakefield alive if possible but they won’t object if we have to kill him. Anyone have anything to add before we get started
Kate: I’ll try not to kill him, but I can't promise that he will be unharmed.
Blaise: “How difficult is it to evaporate here and there? short range teleport through using anima.” (not waiting for the question. Struggling at how to engage mentally)
Connar: Right now it looks like the filth hasn’t disrupted the local structure of reality so teleportation should still work. However the anima discharge may attract unwanted attention.
Kenzie: (looks at Blaise) “No! Don’t think it. “
Alice: “I would caution everyone about how quickly they grab survivors, as a reminder Filth has a way of hiding in people. Last thing we need is an infected getting out to contaminate those we thought we had saved. The phrase, like lambs to slaughter, comes to mind.”
Connar: then let’s begin (opens the driver door of the wrecked truck and pulls out Wakefield’s trench coat and holds it up to Tuk's nose.) Tuk lock
Tuk: (sniffs) (growls)
Connar: Now sweep
Tuk: (disappears into the hospital)
Blaise: “Go get him Scooby. If we get this right, Scooby snacks all around.”

(Connar pries open the elevator doors revealing dark hallways overflowing with filth. Tentacles winding in and out of doors, air vents and windows, the doctors, nurses and patients are all bound to the walls by wriggling tentacles snaking in and out of their eyes mouths and open wounds and coiling themselves around their hands and ankles. Connar briefly scans the surrounding area for a moment before helping the others up.)
Blaise: “Told you roof was the better plan.” (taking in the scene) “Filth wouldn’t be up there yet and this will be an uphill battle .”  (Letting Anima collect around him to test the Filth reaction to Anima filled beings)
(several nurses drop from the ceiling and begin running towards Blaise)
Connar:(ducks behind the nurses station before tossing a charged anima capacitor over the desk)
Alice: (Casts a shield of blood around Blaise to protect him from the sudden attack; calling out in a clear but apathetic tone) “Mr. Blaise, on your six”
Kate: (empties her pistol into one of the oncoming nurses)
(a wet popping sound follows a flash of light as lifeless human bodies now cleansed of filth begin to fall from the ceilings and walls)
Blaise: ( flares up anima and fire around him has he spins with the sword  teleporting behind them  to avoid being swarmed and gain the flank. Smiles.) “Thank you Miss Alice.”  (To Green) “She was checking out my six.”
Kenzie: (lets lightning chain through the nurses. Looks to Blaise and shakes her head in disbelief) (to Blaise ) “ Told you not to.”
Alice: (In a neutral tone as is apparently the default for her mask’s voice) “Simply ensuring it does not receive any unwanted penetration Mr. Blaise”
Blaise: “I’m touched, and it’s very much appreciated. I’m not a fan of being penetrated”
Connar: (jumping over the desk, he begins to place wards at the entrance to each of the hallways) If we had come in through the roof we would have had to face all of the infected head on and given Wakefield an opportunity to kill hostages. Right now he is unaware that we are here and that will give us a chance to search for survivors before hunting him down.
Alice: (Tilts her head at Connar) “You gave him indication of our arrival via Twitter when you asked for backup. He must be expecting us in some regard by now.”
Connar: Thats true, but I don't think he knows we are in the building...yet. On that note I should have mentioned that Kate has discovered that Wakefield has become mentally unstable in recent weeks. So its unclear exactly what he is aware of at the moment.
Kate: Unstable is an understatement, he spent a week carrying around an empty cat kennel.
Blaise: “ Well I’m always unstable.  Part of my charming personality. Think I’m here to piss him off. Seriously, how well do you think when your angry?  ” (grins)
Kenzie: “Sometimes you scare me. I think it’s because occasionally I can follow your logic. “
Connar: the 4 main halls all lead back to this station, so this looks like a good place to set up base camp. Alice, if we bring survivors back here can you treat them and evacuate them to the ground floor?
Alice: (Gives a curt nod) “Affirmative”
Connar: Right now I am thinking each of us should choose a hallway and do a room to room search for survivors. Once you find someone bring them back here and one of us will help them down to the ground floor, where council Envoys will be waiting to help them and please keep in mind what Alice said about dormant filth, I wouldn’t put it past Wakefield to booby trap a survivor. If you encounter Wakefield do not engage him, try and stay hidden long enough to follow him back to where he is keeping the hostages and then call the rest of us. One last thing before we start the search, if you encounter the smiling man call for back up immediately, don’t try and take him on by yourself. We still don’t know what he is capable of so better safe than sorry. I’ll start my search with the north hallway, what about everyone else?
Kate: I’ll Sweep the east hallway for hostiles
Blaise: “I love this plan. split up to do more damage.  I’ll take the east hall as well. and ignore any explosions. Wait, are there combustibles on this floor? It won’t deter me just a note for something resembling caution. Miss Alice scream if you need me.”
Kenzie: “I think your immortality has helped you grow reckless. At least pairing off it’s safer”  (follows Connar)
Alice: (testing a Filth body with her foot to ensure it is dead before moving it) “I’ll prep the area to receive survivors.” (To Blaise) “Noted.”

North hallway: (Connar and Kenzie disappear down the dark hallway searching each room as they advance. Each room reveals a new horror, children strangled to death by their infected parents, doctors who had began cutting eldritch symbols into their own flesh, and nurses who slit their throats with broken glass.)
Connar: There is no way he chose this place at random, Nicodemus had to have recomended it to him.
Kenzie: and why is that?
Connar: because only he would know that it would be hard for me to keep a clear head in a place like this
Kenzie: “ I get the doctor and hospital connection. “(looks over Connar ) “Something says you have something more personal that he knows and is playing with. Targeting kids is a taboo in most books.
Connar: (Stops at the next room, muffled whimpering seems to be coming from under a patients bed.) You think its a trap or do you think its a survivor.
Kenzie: “It’s always a trap, in my opinion. The point of traps is to be sprung.”
Connar: Guess there's only one way to find out, (Connar kicks over the bed to find a screaming 5 year old)
5 Year old: please don't kill me!, I’m sorry!, I didnt mean it! (runs into the bathroom and locks the door behind him)
Connar: (knocking on the door) Calm down kid we’re here to help.
5 Year old: you can't fool me, I know you just changed your shape. I know you can't get me as long as I can't see you.
Connar: Who changed their shape?
5 year old: I’m not stupid I know who you are
Connar: Oh and who am I?
5 year old: if I say your name, you’ll appear behind me and get me.
Connar: (growing frustrated) listen kid we have come here to help get people out of here. open the door and we will get you to safety.
5 year old: No!
Kenzie: (whispers to Connar) “That guy  other than Harold . If we speak his name he’ll appear as well as shape shifting are sound qualities for fae like creatures or fiends”
Connar: I have had enough of this, I'm kicking in the door. (stepping back to kick the door, his phone begins to ring. according to the caller ID its Alice)
Kenzie (steps in and starts picking at the lock as Connar is talking to Alice)
Connar: (Answering his Phone), What's Up?
Alice:I have company down here on the outer side of your ward towards the Southern Hallway. Anti anima levels are rising, not knowing the strength of your wards what would you advise?
Connar: Are they actively trying to get in, or are they just staring at the ward?
Alice:“They were just staring in the direction of the North Hallway until you asked, now they’ve disappeared in the opposite direction…I do believe I have found your Smiling Man, Dr. Green” (straightens as the music stops playing from her outer speaker, regarding the figure with caution)
Connar: Shit! I’m on my way now.
Connar: The smiling man is outside of the nurses station, can you make sure the kid doesn't leave while I deal with this (said as he is running down the hall)
Kenzie: “on it “ (Channeling her own Anima using one of the anima canisters as a boost to her power to ward the bathroom as she enters )
Nurse’s station:
(Kate and Blaise failed to find any hostiles or survivors in the east wing and thus declared it safe and have rejoined Alice at the Nurse’s station. As Alice finishes stacking the bodies at the nurses station, she sees a naked girl who looks to be about 7 years old, standing at the edge of the southern hallway. Her skin seems to be abnormally pale and there are purple marks around her eyes and wrists. Her face remains expressionless as she silently stares at Alice)
Alice: (Activates her suit’s sensors looking for signs of life or clear indications of infection) “What is your condition?”
(The sensors fails to detect an object in the hall way, the girl remains silent)
Alice: (Nods and returns to finishing stacking the bodies, being mindful to watch the child out of the corner of her eye)
(The girl is joined by a 5 year old boy in his underwear. He too has purple marks around his eyes and wrists. He is scowling at some unseen force.)
Kate: (Slowly drawing her gun)
Alice: (Sets her scanner to detect the presence of physical objects and then potential forms of energy, first in the direction of the children then in the direction they are staring)
(anti anima levels are steadily increasing in the southern hallway, as another girl, this one in a patient's gown steps forward, she is followed by another child and another and another until the southern hallway is filled with pale children. They are starring in the direction of the northern hallway, the sensor fails to pick up any change in the environment in the northern hall way.)
Alice: (Looks around for a moment, locating an empty bedpan nearby she picks it up then proceeds to slide it across the floor towards the children in an attempt to see if it passes through them or is stopped)
(The bedpan bounces off a ward placed at the edge of the southern hallway by Connar, the children are now all scowling)
Alice: (Shrugs and moves to lean against the Nurse’s Station’s desk turning on “What Does the Fox say” over her outer speaker as her suit dials Connar)
Connar: What’s up?
Alice: “I have company down here on the outer side of your ward towards the Southern Hallway. Anti anima levels are rising, not knowing the strength of your wards what would you advise?”
Connar:Are they actively trying to get in, or are they just staring at the ward?
(as Connar asks you this question the children all flee into the darkness)
Alice:“They were just staring in the direction of the North Hallway until you asked, now they’ve disappeared in the opposite direction…”
(The sound of footsteps echo off the walls of the southern hallway as a man in a suit with an abnormally large grin approaches the barrier. Swung over his shoulder is an enormous medieval style axe)
Blaise: (Arms crossed stands staring at the smiling with his own Cheshire grin in its smugness) “ Well hello there .”
Alice: “I do believe I have found your Smiling Man, Dr. Green” (straightens as the music stops playing from her outer speaker, regarding the figure with caution)
Connar: Shit! I’m on my way now.
(the smiling man looks down at the wards on either side of the hall, he then lifts his axe over his head and brings it down on the barrier. In a flash of orange light the barrier dissolves and the smiling man disappears back into the darkness.)
Alice: “Ward is down, visual lost on Smiles, be advised subject may be attempting to distract us.” (Sets her scanners to monitor for sudden changes in energy patterns within the area)
Connar: Almost there hold on!
Blaise: “Anima is the life force of Wonderland. That of our enemies is especially potent. Collect what you can. Use it wisely.” (His grin melts with the chill of sincerity in his words)
Kate: (Moving behind the desk, while keeping her gun on the southern hallway) Everyone behind the desk, Weapons ready, keep your eyes peeled for hostiles
(The silence of the nurses station is soon broken by the distant sound of something running down the southern hall.)
Alice: (Keeping her sensors activated for the area around her, turning her visor to face the direction of the footsteps) “Company?”
(Connar emerges from the northern hallway just in time to see a infected doctor charge out of the southern hallway followed by a swarm of infected patients and staff)
Connar:(Firing several rounds into the swarm) Follow me, we need to get on the other side of the barrier!
Kate: (opens fire and begins falling back to the northern hallway)
Alice:(throws up a blood shield around the both of them as the blades of her fist weapons lock into place in preparation then nods to Connar moving to follow) “B-T-Dub your smiling friend took down your last barrier.”
Connar: North barrier is still up, this way! (cutting the head off a charging nurse before firing another shot into a doctor)
Alice: (Sinks the blades of her weapons into the chest of a doctor, lifting his body to throw it like a barricade at the charging mob, following shortly after Connar) “Roger.”
Blaise: (uses his anima charged fire magic to engulf the oncoming horde. Eyes deadlocked on the Smiling man with his own sadistic grin )
(Behind the fire, Blaise can make out the silhouette of the smiling man, his head tilted to one side as he observes Blaise before returning to the darkness. Kate then grabs  Blaise by the collar of his jacket and pulls him into the northern hallway.)
(As they pass through the northern barrier the charging swarm begins to burst into clouds of filth as they fail to pass through the barrier. Beyond the smoke they can make out the fading silhouette of the smiling man with the pale children. As the smoke clears they see the filth has reclaimed the nurses station though its still contained by the other three barriers)
Alice: “Looks like I’ll be operating a survivors caravan… if there are any” (jutting a thumb back at the lost Nurse’s Station as she continue to follow Connar)
Connar:  There is a kid up ahead with Kenzie who is uninfected. He is scared out of his mind but he seems to be ok, he seems to be convinced that everyone is some kind of shape shifting monster out to get him. Other than that we haven’t seen anyone else yet.
Alice:“Do these things affect the dreams of children?”
Connar: I am not sure, I know the filth can reach out to people via dreams, but I suspect it’s more likely the smiling man can change his shape. I have encountered cryptids with this ability before, they disguise themselves as someone the kid trust and then lures them back to their lair where they consume them. If he thinks we are the smiling man that may explain why he refuses to open the door.
Alice: “I’ll save drugging him as a last resort” (Goes silent as she considers something) “I may have a way to encourage him out however.”
Connar: He is up here Kenzie has been watching the room while I was away
Kenzie: (Kenzie is in the bathroom. She has turned the bathroom into a warded “safehouse” currently talking with the boy. She sits nearest to the door letting the boy be anywhere else in the bathroom to hide. In a big sister tone ) “.... Gaia sent some of us with powers to help the children that the darkness took. We’re here to fight shapeshifter and the creeping darkness. Heroes like Wonderwoman and Scarlet Witch”
5 year old: How do I know you're telling the truth? he got the others by showing them things they wanted and then he got them.
Kenzie: (thinks for the moment) “I can entertain you with magic like him. Thats what he did to turn the others to his side. All I can do is tell the truth. It is important for you to trust your gut. That feeling you get before something bad happens. Did your gut tell you he was bad? What does it say about my friends and me?”
5 year old: Miss amy told me to hide….I don't know, you sound nice but he sounded nice too and then he ate the others….(the door opens the boy steps out)... you promise you're the good guys?
Kenzie: “ We are the good guys. We are here to take care of the bad guys. We are safe here for now” (subvocal  com) “What's our statis?”
Connar: north ward is holding, we have lost the nurses station though. I think what we should do next is circle back around and see what's in the southern hall. How is the kid?
Kenzie: (subvocal com) “We are doing fine here. Do we have a safe spot at that end yet to move him to?”
Connar: originally I had planned to evacuate people through the elevator at the nurses’ station, but  that’s not an option now. We could take him out through the stairs but that would mean a 5 floor fight between us and the infected.
5 year old: What about the doctors special elevator?
Kenzie: (looks at the kid and gives him a warm smile) “What about the elevators used to move patience big enough to hold more and usually more secure”
Connar: Its at the end of the east wing, Kate and Blaise have confirmed that is where the infection is least potent. If someone goes with him we should be able to get him out to the envoys
Kenzie: “I’ll bring him down there.”
Connar: I have got Alice, Kate, and Blaise with me, we will all go to east wing together and clear out the elevator. We are on our way now.
5 Year old: what about vlad, he is in a wheel chair and can't move?
Kenzie: (to the kid) “Do you know where others are hiding?” (over the subvocal) “we may have a location for others.” (to the kid) “do you know if others would be with him?”
5 year old: he is in the hall to the right, his mom gave him a magic blanket that protects him from monsters so he didn't have to run, but he can't move either so he is stuck. I don't think so when the mean man started screaming at people every one ran and they left him behind.
Connar: Where and how many?
Kenzie: “ On the East Wing ,one wheelchair bound kid with a magic blanket named Vlad. We could get him along our way. We could sweep through; check the rooms as we go?””
Connar: A bit of good luck for once. this sounds like a good plan, I’m on my way now, We will pick him up on the way out.
Kenzie : ( to the 5 year old) “ You ready to get out of here?” (Scans him for signs of the Filth, no signs of infection are present however he is emitting weak levels of anima)
5 year old: we have to get vlad first, we can't leave him behind
Kenzie: “We’ll get him along the way. You know which room he’s in?” (Opens the bathroom door and peaks out to check if things are clear)
5 year old: he is in one of the last two rooms, I forget which one, the doctors are always moving him back and forth.
(the only thing visible is Connar and friends approaching the room)
Kenzie: “one of the rooms furthest from us but close to the elevator?”
5 year old: (nods head)
Kenzie : “Got that everyone? One of the rooms at the end of the East wing, nearest the elevators. There is a kid in a wheelchair hiding with a magic blanket. His name is Vlad ” (thinks for the moment) My name is Kenzie what is yours ?” (to the 5 year old)
5 year old: Nate
Connar: Got it, lets get moving
Blaise: (Continues working the North Hall to achieve two goals drawing the attention to that location and to keep the Filth contained there as long as possible.)
Alice:”Do you feel you two can handle the child? I believe Mr Blaise could use a friend to accompany him through Wonderland.” (moves to follow Blaise a short distance back but waits for a response from one of the other two before doing so)
Kate: Best I go with you and Kenzie, in case I missed something in the east hallway
Connar: I think its best if we split up for now, can you stay here with Blaise and create a distraction while Kenzie, Kate and I go get Vlad?
Alice: (nods) “Affirmative.” (Runs down the hall following the sound of Blaise’s footsteps)
Connar: Call me if theres any trouble and if you see the smiling man but can't reach us don't hesitate to call Tuk.
Blaise : “ I look forward to expeling the ferocious hairball with a smile. I’ll be sure to call Scooby for back up.”   (explosions of fire and anima surround him )
(tentacles on the walls and ceiling begin to wither away as they are exposed to the fire)
Blaise: (Eyes hunt for the Smiling man his own grin hungry for the fight. His flames lick at the tentacles before consuming them like a ravaged beast. Anima and fire beconing the darkness like light to moths)
(the naked girl appears again at the end of the hallway, she is now scowling)
Blaise: “you look good in rage it suits so few.” (his grin widens) “Shall we dance?”
(she runs in the direction of the east wing)
Blaise: (teleports to intercept her )” This is between us. “(looks her over trying to discern if she’s infected)
(Blaise feels a axe blade at his back, the smiling man has teleported behind him)
Blaise: (Spins to try deflecting some of the damage bringing his own blade up to swing at the Smiling man. Blaises eyes focus with a blood lust and his smile fades with solemn intent )
(the smiling man seems to fade away before rematerializing a short distance away, he cracks his neck before swinging his axe over his shoulder. he then spreads his arms as more children appear. the naked girls eyes begin to fill with filth as her jaw comes unhinged and reveals a set of razor sharp teeth. The other children soon follow suit as the smiling man takes the axe from over his shoulder)
Blaise: ( the blade strikes the naked girl  as she was changing. with ice cold sincerity) “ I seem to ran afoul of something with wicked teeth. As well as the a Smile no one likes. Here is where things get interesting”  (teleporting and sword strikes; blur of motion cut’s at enemies that keep him from the smiling man. His goal is to get to the Smiling Man.)
 (The girl begins to swell as filth begins to pour from her eyes and mouth; she eventually pops open in a shower of filth as the other children rush Blaise. As the other children swell and explode from the sword strikes, Blaise begins to feel his heart slow, it is becoming more difficult to move and he can taste honey in his mouth.)
Alice: (Runs down the halls slashing at the Filth with her claws, attempting to cast her blood through the wall of tentacles that surround Blaise) “Shit, Blaise, stay with me!” (she reaches into the mess attempting to free him)
(Alice feels the blade of an axe on the back of her neck as she tries to free Blaise)
Alice: “If I let you have him will you let me go?” (her hands still grips Blaise but hold steady awaiting a response, ready to move, the blade is lifted briefly as the smiling man attempts to bring it down on Alice’s neck)
Alice: “Could have had a deal” (she growls, releasing Blaise to defend herself with her claws as she turns to face the smiling man)
(the smiling man floats back a few feet before summoning another batch of children, again they transform and again they charge.)
Blaise: ( Gathers up his Anima letting it collect and vibrate and burn around him recalling a Japanese honey bees and wasp video. Focusing on burning the Filth. seeing Alice getting hurt his rage accelerates his fire.)(Blaise coordinates his attacks with Alice. Even taking a few hits to generate an opportunity for her to hit the Smiling man. Trusting her shields)
Alice: (Keeps her focus on the Smiling Man, allowing her anima infused blood to seek Blaise in order to continue to shield him. Raising her left set of claws, she blocks a swing of the axe, swiping at him with her right set.)
(the smiling man has engaged alice and has yet to notice that Blaise is free, the children are already attempting to back her into a corner)
Blaise: (Stealthily teleports behind the Smiling Man. His sense of humor departing and the assassin is awake in him. Cold, calculating and vicious; like a cat that is no longer playing. Anima infused blade silently attempts to penetrate the Smiling Man)
Alice: (If she is aware of Blaise’s presence Alice makes no indication of it being mindful not to allow the Smiling Man to lose focus on her.)
(the blade finds its way into the smiling mans back the children all stop and begin to scream as Alice plunges her fist blade into his chest. The smiling man then turns his head completely around to give Blaise one last smile, as he pulls his blade deeper into his back and lets out a final scream before evaporating and leaving behind only a skull covered in second age runes)
Blaise: (pulls out purple gloves and puts them on, then pulls out  a metallic bag and places  the skull with runes in it . Sealing it before tucking it away. there is no other sign of the smiling man save for the bodies of the children he was using as his familiars. However upon examining the body of the naked girl Blaise observes the skin of teddy bear graphed to her back.)
Alice: (Looks around at the bodies, stepping towards the naked girl to scan the patch of fur grapheded to her body. The scan checks for anima and makes a record for future reference. Turning to Blaise she checks the man for injuries, ensuring he is fit to keep going. the scan indicates high levels of anti anima emanating from the patch of fur as well as high levels of a synthetic substance known as “sugar free honey” a product developed by the morning light. The scan also picks up high concentrations of alcohol embedded in the fur.) “Mr Blaise, what is your condition?”
Blaise: (wincing as his injuries are being investigated) “Doing splendidly, its been awhile since I have danced like that.” ( said as his grin slowly begins to return enjoying the attention)
Alice: “May I enquire into the nature of your being?” (she tilts her head as she turns to look at him)
Blaise: “I’m a Bee; crazy helps me cope with things and calms me.” (puts a finger to his lips) “It’s a secret. Taking life seriously would turn me into Klaus or Wakefield” (shivers)
Alice: (Nods in response then looks down the hallway contemplating their next move) “Unless you believe they will need our assistance, perhaps we should check for survivors and see about finding your Wakefield.”
Blaise: Doc should have things under control, lets go see where Harold is hiding shall we? (tries to hide wincing of pain with his smile)
Alice: “Affirmative” (pauses noticing the wincing) “Mr Blaise, while I agree that humour is medicine, I also believe medicine is its own medicine… may I treat your wounds while we search?” (sets her suit to scan his body for injury)
Blaise: (grins widely) Please do, I want to look my best. Think we should give Mr Wakefield the pinata treatment? You know beat him ‘til candy comes out.”
Alice: I will leave that option up to you, though I may not be opposed to holding the rope he’d be hanging from (Walks close to Blaise, tending to the wounds her suit picks up as they head for the West Hallway)
Blaise:  (as she heals him) Ooh thats the spot. Almost got me purring. (Still grinning)
West Hallway:
(The west hallway has become a dumping ground for the victims of the infected, the floors are slick with gore and the rooms are filled with bizarre shrines honoring deities that either exists only in the twisted minds of the infected or are too horrible to comprehend. The one upside of traveling through this part of the hospital is that it is relatively empty, a few infected nurses have attempted to ambush Alice and Blaise but they are easily dealt with. Eventually Alice and Blaise come on a doctor with eldritch symbols cut into his face, he is banging his fist on some kind of orange light that is blocking a doorway. He is mumbling about the great mollusk gods that live in the darkness and their hunger for light, his mumbling is punctuated with demands for unseen patients to cooperate. He has yet to notice either Alice or Blaise but some one on the other side of the orange light has noticed them, a girls voice is calling for help.)
Blaise: “In strange aeons even death may die” (Blaise growls and then chuckles ) “Mind if I brighten his day? Or should I be in rare form of gentleman esque  and offer the initiative to you” (seems like two sides of his personalty focus both chaos and order, yin and yang - balance.  )
Alice:(bows her head extending a hand to indicate for him to proceed)
(The Doctor has heard blaise and has began to charge, all while babbling about the price of coffee. as he is about to strike Blaise a green chain appears around the doctors neck stopping the charge but redirecting his attention to a 12 year old girl in a over sized innsmouth academy t-shirt and pajama pants.)
Alice: “Ah, this must be the medical wing of Xavier’s School for the Gifted.” (she remarks in that neutral robotic voice of her speaker)
12 year old girl: I can't hold him for much longer (the chain goes slack as the doctor begins to charge the kid.)
Alice: (Not waiting for Blaise to catch on, runs to intercept the charging Doctor) “The best part of waking up is Folgers in your cup!” (she exclaims as the blades of her fist weapons cut the man off, quite literally)
Blaise: (teleports to put himself between the doctor and the girl setting up the flank for Alice)
(there is a high pitched scream that echos through the hospital, as filth pours from the wound, the doctor collapses as his flesh swells and dissolves, Blaise than leaps forward and takes the doctors head off with a single swipe.)
12 year old girl: Eww thats disgusting (said as she sidesteps the dissolving corpse)
Alice: “I wonder if there is a Starbucks near by” (she seems to ask herself before turning her visor towards the young girl) “What is your condition?”
Blaise: (catching up mentally) “Folger’s and Professor X jokes you’re not a normal Illuminati are you? Not used to them being funny. Or was that the Templar some days I can’t tell certain ones from the others.” (smirks)
Alice: (offers Blaise a pat on the back)
12 year old girl: I’m fine, but sally needs her injections, paul missed his Chemo and Nate ran off somewhere and that crazy guy with the wine bottles dragged vlad off somewhere...Oh wait you ask my name I’m Jenny.
Alice: “I asked your condition but that answered my next question. I am W-” (stops herself thinking better of the name confusion) “Alice, this is Mr Blaise. I believe Nate is with Mr Connar and Kenzie, they are looking for Vlad”
Blaise: (nods as his name was mentioned looking around; looking for other threats as the two talk)
Jenny: Have they checked the cafeteria? when the crazy guy with the wine bottles first came in he was trying to get people into the cafeteria, but then everyone started changing and then he started just trying to get the kids. I got as many as I could into the playroom and put up a barrier but Nate got scared and ran before I could get him in and Vlads battery went dead so he couldn't follow us. the last thing I heard was Vlad crying and the crazy guy telling him to shut up, I think they were headed to the cafeteria in the south hallway.
Blaise: “Lunch it is, hope it’s Sloppy Joe day” (pauses and looks at the filth ) “Second thought I hope it’s not.”
Jenny: How did you guys get in here? were you caught in the attack? Do you know a way out?
Blaise: “We came in the front door. Planning to get out the same way. Might have to up the fire power.”
Alice: “Does this mean no action movie exit out the window?” (the neutrality of her voice over the speaker in contrast to the humour in the idea)
Blaise: not without a conveniently timed explosion and I don't think harry brought any explosives with him (said while grinning)
Jenny: So there is no way out?
Alice: (thinking)...One moment, let me make a call (alices suit dials Connar)
Connar: What's up?
Alice: “Connar, what’s your status? We have a survivor here, female, preteen, named Jenny, says she put up a ward in the playroom to protect others.”
Connar: Who put up the barrier? are there other agents present?
Alice: “Judging by her Innsmouth shirt I’d say we’re looking at the hospital from an X-Men movie.”
Connar: This is the best news to come out of this entire operation, we need someone to escort Nate back down to the envoys. Can you gather Jenny and the other survivors in the east wing, then we can get them out through the patients elevator. And then we will go put an end to this whole mess.
Alice: “Patient’s elevator? Last I checked you weren’t supposed to use those things in case of fire, does that not apply to Filth?”
Connar: Only in case of a fire, if one of us powers the elevator and the others defend it, then we should be able to get them down to the envoys.
Alice: “Roger dodger.”
Nate: (yelling into the phone) I’m not leaving without Vlad!
Connar: Settle down boy, we will find him
Alice: “Have I ever mentioned how wonderful sedatives are?”
Connar: Last resort, I still have a few tricks up my sleeve. Lets get the others out of here first.
(Alice and Blaise arrive in the east wing with the children, Connar has cleared the elevator of filth and all that is needed to start the evacuation is someone to power the elevator long enough to get it to the ground floor.)
Blaise: “What would powering it involve? Just trying to prepare for unwanted advances from Filth. You know bad touch.”
Connar: Just holding an anima charge close to the circuit or connecting the elevator to portable battery
Blaise: I see more fun to be had making people wait their turn
East Hallway:
(the halls are eerily quiet, the only sound that can be heard is the wriggling of stray tentacles, as they move toward the east wing, they can't help but feel like someone is following them. Kate noticed a few instances of something that may have been giggling though no one else has heard anything)
Nate: this is his room up here I think, he keeps his chair near the window
(upone entering the room, no one is present, but on the floor there is a romanian style quilt covered in runes, there is also the torn remains of something that may have once been a teddy bare)
Connar: Looks like vlad is with the Draculesti, Take a look at these runes...and I suspect that Wakefield was here as well. (sniffing the remains of the teddy bear) he was definitely here this bear is covered in wine.
Kenzie: (handing Nate a granola bar from her bag she looks around the room looking for a place that Vlad could hide in his condition and observe. The room is relatively empty, there is a patient bed that is unmade, an open bathroom that is unoccupied and a large empty space next to a window looking out over the hospital courtyard. In this space is the romanian style quilt covered in runes)
Nate: (chewing on the granola bar)Who’s Wakefield?
Connar: He is the mean man who was in here screaming earlier and it looks like he has got Vlad. Take a look at the floor near the doorway there are skid marks leading out of the room. It looks like Vlad put the brakes on his chair and I'm guessing that Wakefield dragged him out. (examining the marks outside in the hallway.)
Kate: (Examining the skid marks near the room entrance), Apparently it wasn't enough to just attack a hospital with filth, he also had to take a kid in a wheelchair as a hostage, you know just in case there was any doubt that he was pure evil.
Kenzie: (looks over the blanket and bear.) “Any sign of Tuk?”(Putting the bear back. Handing the blanket to Connar) “Vlad’s going to want his blanket when we find him”
Connar: This doesn't look like Tuks work, he generally takes the head off first, this one looks like something burst out of it...Nate if someone wanted to build a fort that no one could get into in the hospital where would they build it?
Nate: (thinking) I think the roof would be a good place because no one could get you from the sides or top. But I don't think the mean man took Vlad there, when he was yelling at everyone he told everyone to get away from the windows. I don't think he wanted anyone to see what he was doing.
Kate: Can you think of anyplace else? Is there anyplace on this floor that might be a good place to build a fort?
Nate: (thinking) maybe the cafeteria...but the cafeteria has a pair of big doors that are always open and it would be really hard to hold them shut, so you can't really keep people out.
Kenzie: “The question was about Tuk tracking using the blanket. (looking at the blanket eyeing the runes; then to Nate.) “Maybe Nate should hold on to the blanket so  he can give it to Vlad when we rescue him, Connar?” (hands Nate the Blanket)
Connar: both of those are excellent Ideas, one second I’ll call Tuk now. (whistling)
Tuk: (leaping from the shadows and jumping up to lick Kenzies face)
Kate: So is he an actual wolf or is he some kind of familiar in the shape of a wolf.
Connar: He’s a real wolf
Kate:Then how does he keep disappearing into the shadows like that?
Connar: Its a long story
Kenzie: (pets Tuk and greets him nuzzling her face close to his. Her missing her own dog is seen for a moment)
Connar: down Tuk
Tuk: (eyeing Nate, he cautiously approaches and begins to sniff the child)
Nate: He is not going to eat me, is he?
Connar: He doesn't eat people, don’t scream though that might freak him out
Tuk: (staring at nate before licking his face)
Connar: Mai Tuk is the best hunter in the world, he can find anything so long as he has something with the targets scent on it.
Nate: Like Vlads blanket?
Connar: Exactly, all you have to do is say “Tuk, soft lock” and he will follow the scent to its source.
Nate:tttt Tuk soft lock
Tuk: (sniffing the blanket)
Tuk: (turns and starts to run for the door as Connar grabs the wolfs coller)
Connar: Tuk has the scent and is ready to go, but we are almost certainly going to find Wakefield with Vlad. So we need to decide what to do with Nate, do you want him to follow us, should we send him down in the patient elevator by himself or should we have someone go down with him.
Kenzie: I Think If he takes the elevator should have an escort. If he goes with us; that’ll bring us down a man guarding him .  Best course Sending some one with him to the council.  Best waiting until that person returns. Just a tactics though. Willing to here a more productive plan.
Connar: Who should we send with him then, (Connars phone begins to ring.) One sec, answering) what's up?

Kate: I’m on it, (Kate summons an anima charge that causes the elevator to power on.)
Alice : “Are there any wounded in the group?” (Looks the survivors over as they file into the elevator)
Jenny:Sally needs her insulin injections and paul missed his Chemo session but other then that everyone is ok. Do you have fruit or something for her blood sugar?
Alice: (Nods reaching into a pocket on her suit to pull out a small kit. Unzipping the container she flips through its contents, pulling out a vile to inspect before nodding again and handing it to her) “Liquid glucose, have her drink it.”
Jenny: (Jenny hands the vile to Sally and instructs her to drink it) Thank you all for helping us get out of here.
Alice: (remains quiet going over to Sally to check her vitals as she consumes the glucose. the scans show that Sally's vitals are beginning to stabilize.) I Think I should ride with them just to make sure everyone is ok. I can power the elevator from the inside, if Kate will defend the elevator in my place.
Kate: (reloading her pistols) I can do that
Blaise: A pleasure to be of service Ms. Jenny
Kenzie: Stay safe
Connar: No need to thank us, were not done yet
Connar: Everyone into the elevator and stay behind Jenny and Ms. Alice at all times. You may hear some disturbing sounds or feel some turbulence during the ride, that is normal don't worry about it.
Connar: (speaking quietly to Alice ) Are you sure about this?
Alice: “I am a literal human shield and I’m not going to risk losing them in this hunk of metal” (she taps her knuckles on the wall of the elevator)
Connar: the envoys should be waiting for you on the ground floor. They will take the kids and debrief them and then get them any specialized medical treatment they may need
Nate: I’m not leaving until we find Vlad
Jenny: No one wants to hear it Nate, we need to get out of here as quickly as possible
Nate: I’m not leaving!
Alice: “I’ll make a deal with you Nate.” (she kneels down in front of the kid) “You come with me, let me see you out, and I’ll make sure I wont be the one leaving without Vlad.”
Nate: (looks skeptical)...you promise?
Alice: (nods and reaches into another pocket on her suit to pull out a ear radio device handing it to him) “We’ll be able to keep in contact with this once I go back in”
Nate: (takes the earpiece and tries to put it on) Ok I’ll go
Connar: Everyone ready to go?
Jenny: (herding the kids into the elevator before nodding her head)
Kenzie: (has set up on the left of the elevator with Connar)
Blaise: (has set up on the right of the elevator with Kate)
Alice: (Is inside the elevator working inside the panel that has access to the power system, connecting her suit where applicable and charging her anima to activate it)
Nate: (Waves goodbye to Kenzie)
Kenzie: (Smiles and waves back)
(as the elevator begins to descend to the ground floor, infected begin to rush towards the sound, through the elevator doors, everyone can hear gunfire and the bursting of anima charges. the light flickers only once and then Nate screams as he looks up at the ceiling of the elevator)
Nate: Ahhhh
Jenny: (Putting up a barrier) what is it?!
Nate: A Bee
(A buzzing sound begins to crackle in over Alice's suit radio)
The Buzzing: Open wide sweetling
Alice: “We’re sorry but the number you have dialed is out of service” (watches the bee)
(the bee begins buzzing about the elevator causing the children the spread out, the bee seems to be focused on Nate.)
Alice: “Nate, by me, now! Keep your mouth closed!” (she barks)
Nate: (clings to alices leg and buries his head in her side)
(the elevators stops for moment and jumps, something is trying to get in through the roof access. a pale hand finds its way in but its pulled back by an unseen force as the elevator starts again. there are 4 floors left till the ground)
The Buzzing: Open the access ports to allow the flow of wisdom sweetling, we promise we wont bite.
Unknown voice: Nate is that you?
Nate: (Looking up from alice's side) Vlad?
(in this brief moment when he opens his mouth to answer, the bee flies in and down his throat, anima begins to well up in Nate’s eyes as he trys to hold it back with all his might. Just as he is about the lose his battle the elevator door opens and a chemical dart whizzes in hitting nate in the neck and knocking him out.)
Envoy: 5 subjects visible. Two bees, one baby bee and 2 civs, starting evacuation procedures now. (pointing his assault rifle at Alice as a gurney is pushed in to evacuate Nate) Identify yourself, Name, and affiliation.
Alice: (Holds on to Nate as he slumps over from the chemical dart, her visor trained on the Envoy) “Alice Wakefield, the Eye”
Envoy: Stand down, its one of Greens people. Please step away from the child he needs to be moved to a safe location for debriefing (other envoys begin ushering the other children out of the elevator.)
Alice: (Regards the other Envoys a moment before releasing Nate to one of them as they come to take him) “Assuming you have it from here, may I have my elevator back?”
Envoy: One moment, you may want to take these with you, (giving Alice a pack of energy drinks.) You understand Harold is not going without a fight, yes?
Alice: (Taking the energy drinks she offers a shrug) “Not my problem, I’m just here to get people out”
Envoy: Affirmative, please bring any other survivors down with you for debriefing.
Jenny: (waving goodbye to Alice as the medics check her out)
Alice: (Offers a small nod to Jenny before giving the Envoy a boyscout inspired two finger salute) “Going up, women’s lingerie, footwear, home appliances and one very dead man.”
Blaise:(via suit radio) “My favorite floor …”
(the elevator doors close and Alice is brought back the 6th floor without interruption, as the doors open, she finds Connar and friends covered in blood and panting.)
Connar: Every one make it down all right?
Alice: (Tossing the pack of energy drinks to Connar to give to the others) “Lost Nate to the buzzing but he’s still alive… here’s a gift from the Council, drink up.”
Connar: (opening his bottle before passing out the other drinks) thats great, you ready to go get Wakefield?
Alice: (Nods unplugging from the elevator to step out just in case, Resident Evil taught her a lot) “I think it’s time I met my brother from another Twitter.”
Connar: Agreed, (Whistles)
TuK: (trouts up to Connar)
Connar: Tuk Sweep
Tuk: (runs off in the direction of the southern hallway)
Connar: lets go get Vlad
Alice: “Copy” (stands waiting for the others as she adjusts her suit, performing an equipment check to ensure everything is ready) “Anyone need any medical care before we proceed? Mr Blaise I’m looking at you despite what the direction of my visor indicates.”
Blaise: I think I could use a little help with my leg, the infected were getting a bit touchy towards the end. (said while grinning which only turns to wincing when he feels the open claw marks on his leg)
Kenzie: I’m set for now
Kate: I’m covered
Connar: I’m fine for now
Alice: “Understood” (makes her way over to Blaise to look over his wound. Removing a small canister from a pouch on her arm she sprays a mist to numb the pain. Inserting a sterile medical tool from her kit she inspects the wound for signs of Filth infection. Finding it clean, her hand moves over the wound, blood swirls over the deep gash, knitting it together till the wound is closed) “Better?”
Blaise: Much, thank you my dear shall we join harry for lunch now? I think scooby is probably getting lonely all by himself in the south hall.
Alice “Only if you’re buying” (turns to follow Blaise and crew)
Blaise: (Smiles )
(Connar and friends arrive at the end of the southern hallway)
South hallway:
(The double doors leading to the cafeteria have been sealed shut by numerous tentacles eating holes through the metal doors and wrapping themselves around the door frame. They have tied themselves together in knots and blocked out the windows. Through the doors though the whimpering of a child can be heard and Wakefield muttering to himself.)
Connar: If we use the remaining anima capacitors, I think we should be able to clear the filth from the door. (Looking at Tuk) Tuk cloak.
Tuk: vanishes once again into the shadows
Connar: Before we do this, I just want to remind everyone that the council would like to interrogate Wakefield but they will not hold his death against us. I would also like to remind everyone that he has a  hostage, he has absolutely nothing left to lose and he is going to use both to his full advantage. Anyone have any questions before we go in?
Kenzie: Lets go put an end to this once and for all
Kate: Again I can't promise anything about Wakefield's condition.
Blaise:ooo, I am so excited, its been ages since I last saw Harry, you think he is still mad about last time.
Alice: “Not a question but a reminder of why I’m here, I suggest you all focus on Wakefield, my objective is to get Vlad out.”
Connar: Understood.
(gathering the remaining anima capacitors, he places them at the edge of the doors and then begins to charge them from a distance)
Connar: Alice and Blaise on my left, Kate, Kenzie on my right. After the capacitors discharge kick in the door and sweep the area for traps and any backup he may have. Discharge in 10,9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1,go
(As the doors are kicked in, Wakefield emerges from behind an overturned table, dragging vlad (weeping) behind him. Where had once been his left eye is now a wriggling tentacle, his left arm has been transformed into a twisted black claw that is now digging into Vlad shoulder. He is holding a pistol in his right hand and he has it only inches away from Vlads head.)
Wakefield: Stop! weapons and phones on the ground now. (his head twitching, it looks like he is fighting to keep control of his movements)
Vlad:(sobbing) I don't want to die.
Wakefield: Shut Up! stop your fucking whining!
Connar:Its over Harold, let the kid go and the council will show you mercy.
Wakefield: You think this is some kind of tv crime drama? you think I’m going to back down just because you say you’re going to turn me over to Venice instead of killing me? (spits out a tooth) fuck you, failure brings a fate worse than death, I may not be able to walk out of here alive but I can still make you suffer. (pushing the gun up against vlads head)
Connar: (lining up a shot) don't do anything stupid Harold
Vlad: (sobbing) I want to go home
Wakefield: (snarling) be quiet!, I have got nothing left to lose Green, you on the other hand will do anything keep from adding another child to your conscience. Tell me Green how many will this one make 10?, 100?, 1000? Oh wait those are just the children who came after the fire and they don't really count do they.
Connar: (his gun is beginning to shake) shut up.
Wakefield: Or maybe its just John’s voice that haunts you, you see your brats face and hear his voice in every little bastard on the planet, and thats why you feel compelled to save them all because you still feel guilty about his death and deep down underneath your self righteous hatred of the lord commander, you know it was all your fault.
Connar: Say his name again and I will pull your heart out through your throat.
Wakefield: then do it! go on hero, show everyone what your son's memory is worth, show everyone the real Connar Green, the one that will destroy entire cities to avenge his family.
Connar:(still shaking)....(places his pistol on the ground and reaches into his coat pocket for his phone,) your right, it was my fault but I won't have any more blood on my hands. (placing his phone on the ground his thumb ever so slightly touches the bottom corner of the screen)
Kenzie: (raising her hands above her head)
Blaise: (slowly taking his hand off the hilt of his sword)
Alice:(given her weapons and phone are built into her suit, she simply stands watching the exchange in silence)
Kate: What the fuck are you doing?!, We have him!
Connar: No he has us, he knew I wouldn't sacrifice a kid, we have no choice but to surrender, this isn't like the LAST TIME he had us.
Kate: (as the room goes silent, Kate hears a whistling, a whistling so faint it is almost as if it were not meant for human ears. after thinking about Connar’s words she sees the hidden meaning in them and with a heavy sigh she puts her hands up.)
Wakefield: For once in your miserable life you did the right thing, now let me make a call.
(As Wakefield lowers his gun, the enormous head of a black wolf emerges from the shadows jaws open wide and rapidly snapping shut around Wakefield's arm. As Tuk Knocks Wakefield to the floor, he releases Vlad and loses grip of his pistol.)
Kenzie: (binds Wakefield to the floor with a sheet of ice)
Blaise: (Covers Alice, as she casts her barrier)
Alice:(casts a barrier around the child as she dashes forward to cover him)
Kate: (not hesitating for a second, Kate lines up her shot and takes it)
(As Tuk leaps back into the darkness, the bullet rips through Wakefields deformed arm, as Kenzies sheet of ice binds him to the floor. Wakefield has been secured and Vlad has been freed. As Wakefield struggles to free himself from the ice, time begins to slow down as the space in front of Connar seems to distorte before opening in to a breach in space, forcing Connar back in the process. From the breach steps a tall man in a red trench coat with a gray crew cut, as he enters tentacles breakthrough the floor and wrap themselves around everyones ankles.)
Vlad: (shaking with fear) pp...please don't kill me.
Alice: (Shield’s Vlad with her body as her legs and left arm are trapped by the tentacles)
Worth: Child, it is your parent's duty to end your miserable existence, not mine.
Wakefield: (trying to pull himself free of the ice) Lord Worth, I have captured Connar Green and his associates as the Lord Commander has ordered.
Worth: No, I have captured them, you were captured by them.
Wakefield: My Lord?
Worth: (reaching in to Wakefield’s pocket to retrieve his phone.) Mr. Wakefield not only have you failed to capture Dr. Green and his associates but you have also alerted the Council of Venice to our presence and managed to drag yet another unwanted agent into our affairs, this is in addition to losing three bases and billions in funding. With that in mind it is my sad duty to inform you Mr. Wakefield that Third Sunday Operations no longer has need of your services.
Wakefield: (a look of shock begins to spread across Wakefield’s face) Sir! please give me another chance!
Worth: You have had your chance Harold, count yourself fortunate that we are behind schedule or else the Lord Commander would have order your execution. However since we can not be bothered, we will only leave you with the Council.
(Blaise teleports behind Worth and attempts to strike him down, Worth catches his blade with his bare hands. He then pulls Blaise in and brakes his arm.)
Kenzie: (attempts to free Blaise by burning Worth, the fire briefly engulfs him only to vanish seconds later)
Worth: (Braking Blaises leg at the knee before letting him go and approaching Kenzie) ah, Ms. Sterling, the great mother sends her regards. (As he finishes he draws his sword from his side and slashes her across the chest)
Kate: (opens fire on Worth she empties both pistols but, not a single bullet reaches him. instead they collect at a single point in front of him before exploding in a mass of shrapnel knocking Kate to the floor)
Worth: (examining Kates face) based on the anger in your tweets I had expected a plainer woman, your beauty saddens me.
Alice: (Cut’s away at the tentacles binding her to the floor but does not move from her defensive position over Vlad as she remains watchful of the mystery man.)
Connar: (Teleports behind Worth and brings his sword down on his neck, his blade is deflected by an unseen force.)
Worth: (turns to attack Connar only to have his blade block by Connar’s, the sheer force of the two colliding blades forces them back from one another) an Impressive display of skill Dr. Green. (Worth teleports to meet Connar)
Worth: But it simply not enough (as worth moves to strike off Connar’s head, Connar balls in close and gets his blade inches from Worths throat only to be stopped by the same unseen force that stopped the other attacks. Worth is again knocked back by the force of the attack.)
Worth: (once again teleports to meet Connar and slashes him across his throat before kicking him across the room)
Connar: (Rolling across the floor he pull himself to his feet trying to stop the bleeding from his neck, he is panting the entire time but he smiles as he sees a single drop of blood falling down Worth’s face)
Worth: (Feeling his face) I see the Lord Commander is not the only one with new power. (Turning to open the breach) I would gladly continue this fight Dr. Green, but as I said we are behind schedule. Savor your victory it will not last, all things will be decided in Tokyo and all of that rot (said as Worth steps back into the rapidly closing breach.)
