- first, the information: you'll not be streaming to your normal twitch channel, you'll be streaming to an rtmp server that will then be streamed to the twitch.tv/speedgaming channel
- if you have any questions at all about the following steps, PLEASE contact an admin as soon as possible to resolve these issues BEFORE the start of the relay
- this is all assuming you're using OBS studio, if you're using xsplit I can find someone else to help you out. if you're using obs classic... switch.

- step 5: under video settings, your base (canvas) resolution will be 640x480, and the output (scaled) resolution will be the exact same
- step 6: also under video settings, set your FPS to 60
- step 7: under output, please limit your bitrate to no more than 1500, and audio bitrate to no more than 160
- step 8: create a brand new scene, lets call it "relayscene"
- step 9: add your gamefeed source, whether its your capture card or emulator window capture. please add no other sources, including but not limited to, streamlabs alerts, timers, webcams, or chat overlays.
- step 10: mute EVERYTHING but your game audio, if you are using desktop audio, please be sure to try to have nothing else potentially play over your desktop audio besides game audio
- step 11: crop your gamefeed to the exact, or more or less exact, pixels of the game feed, removing all black border from capture cards, and window/menus from emulators. right click your gamefeed source, and select "filters." Under "Effect filters," add a crop filter, and just use the arrow keys to crop until you remove the black borders. I recommend not using super metroid as your testing source for cropping black bars, either use 240p testing suite, SMW, or ALTTP, as those all have much clearer border lines.
- step 12: Same as above, but add a scaling filter and set the resolution to 640x480.
- step 13: Thank you for doing all this to ensure we have a great relay with watchable game feeds.
