  124. BACKSTORY DETAILS:
  125.
  126. Copper Cookie
  127.
  128. Copper Cookie is a Dragonborn, although if you asked him, he would say he's just a Human with a skin condition. He has a very weak sense of reality. His delusions led to him being exiled from the Dragonborn clan he was born into, and led him to seek out "His own Kind." His particular brand of crazy is actually quite benign, and he's largely peaceful and optimistic to a fault. However, even that much led to him being intitutionalized in "The Cookie Jar."
  129.
  130. His real name is actually Jhakkbrel Izallivaandellnliivnpharieth, but neither he, nor anyone else could pronounce it, so he was renamed by his caretakers at the Cookie Jar "Copper", after the coppery sheen of his scales, and "Cookie" which the inmates of the Cookie Jar were usually called.
  131.
  132. Copper spent several years living a blissful life of luxury in the Cookie Jar, which is a sanitarium in Lundun, better funded and taken care of than the nearby town. This all changed when a corrupt Mayoress faked a miracle by running water through a rock and turning the town into a tourist trap. In the chaos that ensued, Copper wandered away from the town and lost his way back. He was not present, therefore, when the miracle was revealed as the fake it was. Thinking he had witnessed a real miracle, Copper wandered away to find out which God was responsible. Only The Quixotics (Largely a little delusional themselves) were willing to consider the miracle a.) Real and b.) Maybe the influence of Don Quixote? Sure, why not? With unshakable faith in something that didn't actually happen, Copper nevertheless gained power and influence quickly, his state of mind aligning perfectly behind the patron he more or less randomly decided to follow. He would actually like to find his way back to the Cookie Jar and see all of his friends again. At least if he could remember which way to go to get back there.
  133.
  134. His newfound allies the Quixotics soon brought him to Santa Fey on pilgrimage, and there he learned the specifics of what Don Quixote was actually all about. It lined up pretty well with his life experiences - lots of seeing things that other people say aren't really there, lots of believing in things other people say are silly, and a stubborn dedication to Adventure and Heroism.
  135.
  136. Currently, Copper has taken on the task of a wandering Cleric, spreading the gospel of Don Quixote. He has come to Anna Tevka wandering around looking for ancient reliquary related to Don Quixote and the related Deity, El Gallo. Specifically, the Golden Helmet of Mambrino is his ultimate goal. He probably was trying to head to Camelot, but missed, and didn't realize he was going the wrong way until he came out on the other side of the mountain range.
  137.
  138. (NOTE: If any of this doesn't work with the universe, feel free to say.)
